I’m asking about the 100 hour work week because I’m wondering if the trajectory of my life. Short term, if I want to build something, is it okay for me to work extra long in a controlled period of time? -

Why is it that there are so many billionaires like Elon Musk and Gary Vee promote this lifestyle, why is it that they are seemingly able to do it? -

This whole list sounds rather traditionalist

I do need to put my input here. It's not ''indoctrinating children'', as much as it is about educating children. Introducing education of the LGBT community into public schools is not about brainwashing children to be gay because that's impossible, you cannot groom people into being gay just as how you cannot use conversion therapy to make people straight. The reason why this education exists is to provide children with the resources to understand if these feelings arise within themselves. As well as how to make sense of how some of their classmate might have two moms/dads. https://actualized.org/insights/gay-grooming-nonsense -

Marriage and family itself is neurotic and out of date.

Suicidal thoughts are ''silly nonsense''? Really? Pls elaborate because I'm curious. I have struggled with these desires for a while and I'm wondering what causes them? Like, is it a trick of the ego? self-deception? Based in falsehood as death is an illusion?

In strict Political Science terminology, this is correct as American Conservatism is a form of Liberalism. Otherwise known as, classical Liberalism. The authors of the American Constitution and Declaration of Independence drew their philosophy from early Liberal thinkers. -
Alriiiiiiiiggghhtt... Is someone with this so called ''higher intelligence'' still susceptible to smoking? I know Alan Watts was a cigarette user. Would you ever date a smoker?

Greetings. I finished the life purpose course and now I want to move on and actualize it. I want to start an online business. I asked a friend which programming language I should do for such a thing, and he said JavaScript. Is he correct?

@Leo Gura Are people who smoke inherently less intelligent? What about less conscious? I personally know a smoker who does technical laboratory work. I remember reading an account of Paramahansa Yogananda talking to a disciple. They were talking about if this student was going to be a student of Yogananda, under what conditions? May he drink alcohol? Smoke? Enjoy the opposite sex promiscuously? Yes, Yogananda said. But if he still wants to do these things after raising his consciousness, that he cannot guarantee.

I see the Poké Bowl trend is catching up to the mainstream. Fun fact, working at a Poké restaurant was actually my first every job. I got the job at age 17 because I was saving up to study abroad in Japan. I was hired by these two Chinese immigrants who were husband and wife, and both owned the store. While the study abroad never materialized because the study abroad company never called me back due to the website I was applying to at the time having technical issues and they never received my application, I ended up earning some $2,000 from working there. To this day I'll go to that same restaurant frequently, and because the owners know me they'll give me free drinks.

So many languages... I signed up for a website called, 'CodeAcademy'. I need to learn all of these languages? Anyways, thank you for you clear and direct advice. It's time for me to get cracking and get learning. It's intimidating though, b/c to build a successful business, it also takes knowing marketing, AND I need to learn these coding languages. But thanks anyways. -

@Leo Gura You’re a very harsh critic of Buddhism, do you consider these monks to be very awakened people? -
Are you talking about your Lost Spires mod for Oblivion or is this a new project you started this year or last year?

I am haplessly addicted to coffee. I don't even like coffee any more but I can't stop myself from drinking it.

AND if the ceo tries to not cut corners and pay the employees a living wage, what will happen is that he's going to get angry calls from his investors and shareholders demanding that he drive down the employee wages and maximize profits. If he refuses to comply, he'll just get booted off by his board of directors and replaced by a more ruthless ceo. The system is so corrupt, that not even the people at the top of the food chain have control over the situation. Which is precisely why Government is so necessary to enforce these rules of a living wage and unions, because without this, average working people have no means of enforcing these standards on their own. -
Greetings. I currently just completed my third semester at Community College. Community College Associates Degrees are supposed to take only two years but I messed up, COVID was hard and I had to take an extra year. Before this final semester, I set a goal for myself that I was not gong to get a single C. The reason for this was because I had a 2.7 GPA, and I was hoping to boost it to at least a 3.0, to make my GPA more competitive for Universities. I misused the syllabus one of my classes and got a D grade, I finished the semester with one D, two C's, and a B. My G.P.A. is expected to be 2.6. I don't know what to do. Should I attend another semester of Community College? THREE AND A HALF YEARS FOR A DEGREE THAT'S ONLY SUPPOSED TO TAKE TWO (so I can retake the courses I got C's and D's in)? Or do I go to a lower level University, one that I originally did not want to attend as it has a lower national ranking, but has looser entrance standards and is more likely to accept me.

Because there is an abundance of desperate people. This is known as the “reserve army of labor”.
