@VeganAwake This reminds me of when we used to go back & forth a few years ago on here, haha, time has flown since then! Hope you and your family are well! How about 'everyone' just focused on enjoying Christmas, instead of these good old Non-Duality wars. Its like when I argue with my friends about what footballer is better, no matter what he says to me, or I say to him, we're both usually set in our opinions and biases, so, if you know that, why not drop it and move onto something else lol? Maybe spend that time meditating Or, do you need everyone to agree with your Non-Duality & method of awakening? I know I used to lol! -

This is actually scary reading, hopefully the world begins to read some history books, see's sense and we can get through this, otherwise we could be in for a scary decade Crazy think how far we've come in as little as 2 years, I remember hearing Vaccine Passports was a crazy conspiracy theory made up by nuts, yet these are seen as normal now, and we're at the point of denying life to the 'Unvaccinated.' A friend of mine said those that don't take the Jab by February 2022 could even face jail time, is this true? Wtf -

People will literally do whatever you tell them, as long as you say its for their safety or the most famous phrase throughout history- 'for the greater good.' But, they still won't take personal responsibility for their own health, unless of course the Government told them too -

@Tim R Well, we've had 0 restrictions on anyone in the UK since July, and our health care system hasn't collapsed, and its been more than 1 or 2 weeks? I think we seem to forget its mainly Unhealthy / Elderly people who end up in ICU's. In March, the CDC said- About 78% of people who have been hospitalized, needed a ventilator or died from Covid-19 have been overweight or obese, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a new study Monday. Yet, we've heard fuck all in the UK about exercise, proper nutrition, supplementation & actually leading a healthy lifestyle, and its been almost 2 years, that's plenty of time to get in shape, especially cos everyone had plenty of free time.. Most people under 50 Vaxxed or Unvaxxed won't end up in ICU. @Epikur @PurpleTree @Arcangelo I'm glad to see some here are on a similar wavelength as me, and think this is literal craziness playing out in front of our eyes. Who thought 3 weeks to flatten the curve would become 3 jabs so you can go get your weekly shop? -
Loved this video @Leo Gura, think its incredibly useful for the majority here, even if you are 'doing the work' doesn't mean you can't also pursue everything else & enjoying all elements of life, its so so so so easy to get narrow minded about Spirituality when you hear how its described in many traditions. (E.g. Vedanta calling the world 'dirty' or celibacy in many traditions) I wondered on yours (& everyone else's like @Nahm's) views post Awakening. I know Rupert Spira / Francis talk about this a lot in terms of you then express / live the understanding in all realms of life- Business, Relationships, Friendships, Hobbies etc and you simply do / create what you love and for the fun of it, but from the place of understanding & happiness, not in search of it. And, of course our very own Nahm (and many LOA teachers) talk about Conscious Creation, designing the life of your dreams, and essentially creating whatever you want. So, do you agree with Rupert in that after the burning through, the awakening process etc you simply live life expressing this in whatever way suits you and for the joy of it, instead of what most people do- in the search of happiness. Curious to hear people's thoughts, personally I agree with Rupert, in that some things may drop away, but many may remain, for example you will have relationships as an expression of love, or have hobbies because you simply enjoy them & for the fun of it, but your happiness is no longer dependent on them. I think the end of this video sums up Ruperts views, when the woman asks, okay, what now my suffering is gone?

People can do what they want, its the influence that scares me, and teenagers / young males are so impressionable. I mean, there's teenagers on TikTok taking sarms & other research chemicals. I saw a video of a young guy who's testosterone levels were the same as a 90+ year old man cos he abused some PED so much (still denied it, even with test results) and admitted he'd had 0 sexual desire for more than a year. Gotta be careful who you follow in that industry

Respect your opinion. But, if all your life all you're gonna do forever is talk about & watch videos on Enlightenment you'll get bored pretty quick. Most spiritual teachers say apart from when teaching they hardly think / talk about the teaching after a certain point, because they are simply happy & living out their human lives. I remember Rupert Spira saying when he now sees Francis they are like any 2 normal people, playing tennis, getting food, just enjoying a normal friendship. Spirituality, imo, should improve and make your life blossom (conscious creation comes into this) not consume your life forever and be stuck in endless seeking. Otherwise, sure you'll have the most theoretical knowledge on Enlightenment of anyone ever, cool, but would it not be more fun to live that teaching instead? Developing a relationship is one of the best things in life, its not 'lower consciousness.' Also 'highest consciousness of people' sounds a little Spiritual Ego(ey) to me, everyone is that, just majority of people haven't realized it yet. 'You' are not superior / better than anyone else if you have. Not that 'someone' can actually become enlightened. Awaken, go live life & enjoy yourself, if that means becoming a teacher cool, if not, you probably won't talk about this that much, but will it express it instead, that's what is most important imo, actually living the teaching.

Think I agree with @Nahm I would say it works the opposite, and working with @Michael569 has helped with this, that naturally it goes from a fully egoic pursuit (I mean part of it stays, I think you naturally want to look good, like when you get ready you still want to wear nice clothes, smell nice, do your hair etc) to a more holistic approach of doing it for the love of your body, to feel good, to build healthy habits and because you enjoy it. Same as any sport. Of course, you can also use your spirituality to improve your workouts, improve mind / body connection, focus in the gym, improve nutrition, focus on sports you love, which may not be strength training. Overall, I'd say, like with any other area of your life, spirituality will improve your Strength Training, and maybe you can use aspects for integration and what not, but I'd say the benefits of it lie far more in the 'Human Realm'- just feeling good, healthy habits, building discipline, confidence, looking good etc, but overall 'The Gym' is defo one of the best habits & activities when done right. (and exercise / sport / nutrition overall) Remember, life should be fun & enjoyable. -
Money and Financial Freedom should be in your top priorities, along with optimizing your health. I honestly wouldn't worry about figuring out why 'God did this' etc in this situation. If you want to add a spirituality element, study great Law Of Attraction teachers and conscious creation, then get to work. Build those foundations, life becomes a lot easier when you aren't worrying about Rent or getting out of breath when you run a few blocks

LfcCharlie4 replied to GreenWoods's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@GreenWoods Yeah, I definitely think transmissions are going to become more mainstream, especially since 99% of westerners aren't going to spend 10s of years seeking like the 'old guys' did, I feel transmissions + 'The Work' is a path that will only grow, I also agree with Gareth, Ramaji, etc that Transmissions are the most direct path. I'm surprised people like Rupert & Francis don't incorporate it, but then I guess you could argue all of their retreats are the first kind of Transmissions you mentioned. Each of us has our own unique path, its just a shame transmissions aren't as 'popular' as many other paths. I think the work of those like Gareth is important, although we need an Eckhart like figure that knows how to market & grow properly to take it mainstream. Most transmission based teachers are very small in the grand scheme of things, because many are older people with little knowledge on growing rapidly via Social Media. For example, TikTok is the easiest platform to grow rapidly, but most see it as too shallow etc, when it could be an amazing platform to introduce quite literally millions, if not billions, of young people to this teaching. RE: RASA, I guess I just don't feel that's right for me right now, I'm 'only' 21, so feel I want to live life for a while before going down that path, that whole idea just doesn't excite me right now, and I feel no calling to take that path. Who knows maybe it will happen in the future, but I'm not one to force things like that. And, when you listen to the 'best' teachers, they all say they felt a calling, or an intuition to do what they do and its what they truly love. Right now, just not the case for me. Think I'm having too much fun living a 'normal' life atm lol. What about you? Are you working with any of those teachers atm, or taking any of the transmissions? Also, when was your RASA experience, mine was over 18 months ago now, and I must say, integration can really be a bitch! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to GreenWoods's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
GREAT Thread! Only ever utilized RASA but loved it and still speak to Ramaji & Ananda often, and attend the odd Satsang. Also, interesting note on Gareth's website, he talks about his own RASA journey, and how it evolved into the work he's doing today. I'm not sure why, but I much more relate to the whole 'normal person' waking up, than the Ramana Maharshi / Monk / Living in an ashram type, probably because I always intuited I want what most would regard a 'normal' life- Family, Friends, Hobbies etc. Seems Gareth worked with Ramaji to stabilize his awakening, as he had already had many awakenings before reading 1000 and contacting Ramaji. One more note, I wish there was more awakened beings who just shared their everyday life, as you only tend to hear from people who go into Teaching for obvious reasons, but not so much those who just crack on in 'Normal' jobs, or don't teach, there must be quite literally 1000s of people who've Awakened and feel no call to teach, but spread the teaching in a less formal way, even if that is just with their presence! -
Had the same issue for years, 95% clear now- Read Oxygen Advantage and do his nose clearing breathold, then ONLY breathe out of the nose, takes time but eventually becomes normal. Improves athletic performance long term, hinders short term as you adjust. Tape your mouth at night so you ONLY breathe out of your nose, if you wake up with a dry mouth then you're mouth breathing at night Clear your nose as much as necessary, I use a saline spray from Amazon its like £6 morning & night get an air purifier for where you sleep / rooms you spend most time in - IF someone Smokes in your house this is 1000x more important, I live with a heavy smoker and this created lots of issues, ask them to smoke outside etc Do the Wim Hof Method daily along with cold showers Clean diet & check allergies ideally, remove foods that cause you issues, everyone unique Try Sauna as often as possible & Steam Room, that helped me a lot beyond just clearing my nose This time about 2 years ago I think I posted on here about having Sinus issues, now completely gone, used to forever be bunged up & clearing my nose which was full of gunk, now only nose breathe & am about 95% clear, even as we enter winter in UK

@Danioover9000 1000%, not to mention the mastery aspect that comes with years of fine tuning your craft. And, the challenge each and every game brings, -
I feel a lot of 'Spiritual' people think sport is pointless and just a game, so I wanted to share these articles to show sport is much, more more than that and can have a profound effect on not just an individual level, but societal and community. This was re-brought to my attention after attending a local football game live for the first game since Covid, and to see many people enjoying themselves, and how much it meant to them. https://www.peace-sport.org/opinion/the-purpose-of-sport-and-play/ Of course on an individual level the benefits are obvious- Physical & mental health improvements, relationships, communication skills, discipline development, healthy hobbies, development of values etc, the benefits are endless. Here's a few articles from Sadhguru on the importance of Sports & relating it to spirituality. https://isha.sadhguru.org/uk/en/wisdom/sadhguru-spot/be-a-sport https://isha.sadhguru.org/uk/en/wisdom/article/how-sports-build-nation

@Nahm Couldn't agree more! Imo, True Sport is one of the most 'Spiritual' activities we can do in the manner it fully immerses us in the now & allows us to dedicate ourselves to developing skills while having SO much fun, expressing Joy & Love. Everyone is of course unique, but, to me, play & sport is one of the foundational ingredients for an amazing life. -
Learn to nose breath & tape your mouth when you sleep, this hack has helped me sooooooo much. Watch this & read his book for in-depth Nasal breathing exploration- Are you eating right? Could be deficient in certain nutrients? Are you exercising? etc Might be worth checking Vitamin D3 levels too, and maybe even an overall health check just to be sure.

@Tyler Durden Same world, same rules That's not to say it doesn't have any effect, even scientific literature is catching up on the link between mental & physical health. Maybe there's rare exceptions, but I think for the vast, vast majority survival acts will continue- but they'll likely be upgrades- Healthier eating, sleeping, breathing & drinking habits for example. -
I'd HIGHLY recommend to not ignore this aspect- Financial Freedom- Online Business, Crypto, Investment Portfolios, etc. From there you'll have the time & location freedom to pursue whatever else you want in life, without having the stress of money, paying bills & having to work a job you hate hanging over you. Without it, you'll likely have far less time & freedom.

Illusion in the sense they have no independent existence on their own, yes But unless 'You' want to die relatively speaking, I wouldn't advise going without any for too long lmao Be careful conflating absolute truths in relative domains. Absolutely speaking getting beaten up is an illusion, probably not gonna go intentionally get beaten up though -

Anyone who implies you are not your own 'guru', and they are simply a guide / friend helping you. Anyone who runs a Cult lmao & gets trippy on power (which even happens to 'enlightened' beings, remember awakening doesn't mean you become some perfect, amazing person) Anyone who claims you 'need' them and 'I am the way' after a while it becomes pretty obvious Pros of the information age means anyone can share these teachings, cons of the information age means anyone can share these teachings. -
Yeah
