Some of you may be familiar with Alex Becker, you've probably seen some of his YouTube ads at the minimum lol. Last year he's gone through some development, especially recently. He's become an extreme minimalist to completely devote himself to his business he loves (Life Purpose?) and hardly owns anything, on top of that he also is a millionaire so it's come from doing what makes him happiest and allows him to completely focus on his business without worrying about pulling money out the business. As an entrepreneur its inspiring, however, his business goals are in the 100's of Millions, well they were, so I don't think I'll go that extreme but it's definitely eye opening. My question is would you say this as an SD Orange, Green or Yellow move? I can't seem to figure it out. He's doing it to focus on his business and grow it, but it seems more green as the focus has turned completely to the customer and his team and not profit, as well as seeing through the trap of materialism that can come with an increased income. Check out the video or other videos on his channel yourself and lmk what you guys think about his growth.

@outlandish @Gneh Onebar Yeah huge over here. And like Outladnish says that's basically what happens, I mean to me it seems more of a recreational substance and like any it comes with it's issues. This is where we could into the whole issue of legalisation so for those who do choose to consume Rec Drugs will at least have much purer stuff and there will be a MUCH greater emphasis on helping instead of demonizing people. Oh well, long way to before that happens it seems. -
@Spiral Wizard Yeah, his devotion to his LP is amazing though. And, it seems he's now focused on running a Green business but like you said hasn't developed into the Yellow territory yet.

@VeganAwake No, you're misunderstanding me. If someone slaps you in the face you're going to feel it, I know what you mean by illusion, but honestly that is very early stage enlightenment. The Big Self is not an illusion, otherwise, you are saying Awareness/ The absolute etc is an illusion. You are currently in the stage of thinking you are nothing or no-thing, eventually you become everything and that's when it gets even more amazing The silence that never leaves, is the substance of absolutely everything, hence why the world doesn't exist. Ramana: On the Self/ Big I- 'If you hold this feeling of ‘I’ long enough and strongly enough, the false ‘I’ will vanish leaving only the unbroken awareness of the real, immanent ‘I’, consciousness itself” The Real is ever-present, like the screen on which the cinematographic pictures move. While the picture appears on it, the screen remains invisible. Stop the picture, and the screen will become clear. All thoughts and events are merely pictures moving on the screen of Pure Consciousness, which alone is real. I am not the perishable body, but the eternal Self. In terms of what needs to be understood, nothing on an absolute level as you said This is it. If we're talking about the relative, Lots, unless like Ramana you want to go and live in a diaper Self-Realization alone won't lead to awesome nutrition, finances, business/ career, relationships, social skills etc -

@VeganAwake 100% THIS IS IT. It really is it and it's amazing to rest here. However, you will still have an 'ego' and a personality, hence I recommend everyone to find out their Enneagram types, it is so essential to know yourself on a human level. I will always turn my head if someone says Charlie. However, the knowing shifts, you know yourself to be The Big Self, living through this vessel so to speak. And as you know that, you will still have feelings and thoughts and be able to interact with 'others' etc etc as if you were 'Charlie' in my case, but all the time knowing you are the Self, and that will forever change your life. If anything I have become SO much more emotional since awakening, and as an Enneagram 7 a key part of my journey is learning to embrace the full spectrum of emotions. Love always, Life is amazing P.S. May sound stupid but even Juice WRLD's passing sent a surge of sadness through me and brought me to tears, before I would've simply rejected the emotion and pushed it away, now I LOVE feeling emotions, it's what makes us human! -

If you're looking for a 'spiritual experience' from these Drugs, Nitrous is a party drug over here in the UK. It's used widely in the rave scene and by young people, and abroad on 'party islands' basically. I know some friends who have mixed nitrous with MDMA and Ketamine and said they went to 'another dimension' etc and they aren't spiritually inclined at all. However, yeah they can be very dangerous and risky and have been termed 'Hippy Crack' by the tabloid press over here lol after some Professional Footballers using them. Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth it as they can be addictive and quite risky, especially if you get hooked, I know people doing 'doubles' which is 2 canisters in one balloon, again dangerous. Use has been reduced by a show called 'Top Boy' which showed a scene of a character becoming paralysed after using Nitrous, great bit of anti-drugs promotion there, as that show is mainly watched by 15-30 year olds, and with rappers heavily promoting drugs in modern-day music, I feel they can be often over-glorified. -

@VeganAwake Just be careful, it sounds like you're doing great but it also sounds like your awakenings have a long way to go. Saying there is no you, is technically true but is very common in early awakenings, and since you just had a session with Fred that makes PERFECT sense. You're currently saying everything in a negative term subtly, there is no you, then what is everything? It's the same as non-duality 'Not Two' but you can't go around calling a Bannana a 'Non-Apple' do you get my point? IT goes WAYYYY deeper than 'No You' and 'NoSelf' for example if there's no self what is behind all of this, well Ramana calls it THE Self (With a capital S), and then you kind of drop the no self notion and realize EVERYTHING is The Self, there is no you, but there's also No Other, No World, No Anything EXCEPT The Self. This realization also helps awaken love, as why would you want to hurt yourself? No Self is only the beginning, maybe your ready for the deepest teachings now such as that of Ramana and Nisgardatta. But, remember to add context as these are Eastern gurus, a key point MANY seekers forget. By the way it sounds like you're doing amazing and had an awakening, but maybe Fred has given you all he can, as he's only in what I call the 600s, reading Ramana or Rupert Spira etc will give you a big shock, it did me as I was an Eckhart Tolle fanboy lol -

@undeather Can I ask what Psychedelics have to do with fixing one's life? -
LfcCharlie4 replied to kamekat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@kamekat Haha, sound like exactly how I used to be! Other people's advice will be different to mine but I can only tell you what's worked for me. Of course, a standard meditation practice would be a good starting point, find a meditation that resonates with you if it helps you stick to it. Remember, meditation is every moment of your life also, and BE HERE NOW always, no matter whether you're at work, washing the dishes or listening to a teacher, this is it and live here now. Other practices like Yoga, Self Inquiry can be helpful. I'd also say foundational PD such as Exercise, Nutrition, Career/ Business shouldn't be overlooked. I can recommend some books and teachers that helped me, I work with one of them 1-1 and receive a Silent Transmission which has been the most helpful thing as well as finding out my enneagram type to overcome my own sticking points, everyone is unique and everyone's process is their own! No Mind, No Problem and 1000 by Ramaji are great books, as is his and Ananda Devis 1-1 coaching. Any of Ramana's/ Nisgardatta's teachings if you're ready for them It's hard to give recommendations without knowing you a bit better everyone is slighlty different and certain paths will work better for certain people, could you maybe expand a bit more on your journey/ story so far+ any current issues you are facing? -
As everyone else has said go enjoy life! There's no harm in having fun 2/30 days, that's less than 10% and if you're healthy 90% of the time there's not really any issue. Only time would be if you were trying to cut weight maybe switch to 'light' spirits to reduce caloric intake, but be careful drinking the same volume of spirits as beers.... Or you could offset it by simply lowering your calories on a drinking day, and having an 'extra healthy' day the next day maybe with a green juice, lots of water, sweating out the toxins, maybe a sauna/ steam room after a workout etc. But, as I said before go enjoy yourself man!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0yMj-s4r3ydlDtT9XlBUSw This channel would be a good start, foreplay is important as well as sex man. Also @Shin that advice is awesome. But if he wants to PU right now and sleep with multiple women, if he's doing it ethically and not manipulating these girls etc, I feel it's always best to not suppress something, just my 2 cents. But yeah, it will be harder to develop incredible skills on ONS, you could develop sort of FWB/ Casual things maybe to help?

You don't have to get a shitty dead end job. What are your interests? You could do freelance work, start a small business etc, no need to go get a shitty job. But working can also teach you some important life lessons, also, no offence, relying on your parents will backfire in the long run, I get you're young now but be careful in the future, pave your own way in life

What's your existential experience right now? Most importantly, realize this is it and you can NEVER figure this stuff out with your mind! I remember constantly being caught in thought loops! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to ir8221cu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Long way to go yet bro, I've been there, sounds more like Nihilism than a true awakening, but it probably is a true awakening. Right now you've realized no self, probably the first 'chapter' of awakening. Wait until you open the heart, realize you are everything and then realize that the Self is literally all, it will become much harder to treat yourself like shit, than it is when you think there is an other. There is no OTHER just YOU, so the person you're treating like shit is YOU, also if you need a concept to help you, Karma still exists, so you treat people like shit and you'll face some sort of consequences. Here's some food for thought, Charles Manson was awakened and look at the shit he caused, look at Bentino Massano. Stop thinking you're above others, and realize you are literally them, go deeper into the awakening and open yourself to love and from there compassion comes naturally. Good luck mate, remember You are those people you're treating like shit, and if they've got self respect they'll pull you up on it and won't let you get away with it. It's a common issue with enlightenment that people subtly, or not so subtly, start thinking they're better than others and nothing matters so they rationalize their shitty behavior, bring some awareness to this. -

@Lento I like your description of using Skepticism and Beliefs in a way that serves you as an individual, all must be thrown into the blazing fire and surrendered, and whatever remains after is meant to be in our lives @TRUTHWITHCAPITALT I get your points, but not all teachers say the same things and you'll notice subtle differences between them due to their depth and level of awakening and embodiment. A perfect example is Eckhart (btw I love him) and Ramana, the first time reading Ramana gave my ego a huge fright as it is SO much more profound than Eckhart's teachings, hearing things such as 'The World Doesn't Exist', 'All is The Self' after Eckhart was a big realization I was only in the baby pool so to speak. I am not saying it can be monopolised but there is certainly depths to spirituality it is not as black and white as awakened/unawakened. I'm glad you find Leo helpful and a great teacher for you I would just recommend learning from more than 1 teacher, as it's easy to become ideological and think the teacher is perfect etc, it's like only ever using 1 source for an essay, it's bound to be biased! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@mandyjw lol, of course. I guess I can see his frustration, I haven't watched the documentary, was it a hate-hate kind of relationship? And, of course, I imagine for you getting along with Christians will be a big part of your journey. I'm from the UK and religion is nowhere near as big as it seems in the US, none of my family/ friends go to church etc, but none are into Non-Duality either, that's stage orange for you haha. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@mandyjw LOOL the fact they turned it into a Christian Youth Camp is beyond ironic, 'Stage Blue' really do make me laugh, they are so stuck on the conceptual teachings as the absolute reality, that they'll never experience the absolute. What s strange world we live in. Or should I say what a strange Self we live in. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Eu Sint's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Eu Sint Sorry for misunderstanding, I just know it's something I really struggled with thinking I now wasn't allowed to think lol. But, yes Silence is always and will be forever the greatest teaching, nothing can match the transmission of presence from a great master such as Ramana. If only he was still alive today, at least his teachings live on, one of the greatest masters of the last 100 years, if not the. Love -

@Commodent Thank you, too much of this transcendence BS going on here, no idea why, and it shows the immaturity of a lot of the people here imo. It's fine to fucking feel sad if you feel sad! I honestly don't get what people expect true awakening/ enlightenment is. @zeroISinfinity As I keep saying Leo isn't the only teacher in the world lol, and imo from various people I've spoken to is certainly not at the highest stage of realization, maybe he's had insights from his multitude of trips but it's pretty evident he isn't embodied there. I'm talking from direct experience which everyone seems to love here except when it goes against there agendas. You will still have emotions, you're a human, I don't get what you expect. BEfore you go into some rant on how we are awareness existentially, yes I get that and if you want to go there All there is the Self, there is no other, the Self is literally ALL, the world doesn't even exist as all there is is this Self, when you arrive here you realize an unbreakable silence. I'm really trying to help you, so many teachers preach transcendence of humanity and if I'm honest it's fucking dangerous, you are not a rock, you are a human who will experience an array of emotion. Yes there is a background of permanent peace that never leaves, but there is still emotion, a small example is an artist I listen to passed away suddenly yesterday and I felt an incredible rush of sadness, you know why? Because no longer do I suppress my emotions, instead I fully feel them with all my body, good or bad, as there is no resistance left, emotion is to be felt. I wish you luck if you think awakening is all sunshine and rainbows and you're round the corner from permanent bliss, of course there's states of bliss and love etc, but you can get that from Psyches, a true genuine awakening is learning to feel absolutely everything without resistance and living life FULLY in the now, whatever life throws at us. About destroying the mind, I have done that, the Mind doesn't actually exist, all that exists are thoughts that simply rise in The Self/ Awareness whatever you want to call it, do their thing and pass, no such thing as a mind ever existed, thoughts are always 1 thought at a time no matter how entangled they can become due to the I-Thought. You are not telling me the truth, because not one word can be uttered about the truth, the absolute can not be put into words, hence why all words are merely pointers. The Truth can only be experienced and lived, in reality EVERYONE is the truth, yet very few know it, very few consciously live as The Self. But, please, be careful when thinking enlightenment will lead to you somehow transcending this world, when this very world is the Buddha, the laptop I'm writing this on is the Buddha, EVERYTHING is and This is it, this very moment is it. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Eu Sint's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Eu Sint You'll have no mind and do not need thoughts to function, you could go days without thoughts. However, Ramana's situation will be different to yours, remember he lived in a diaper in India, if you have a 'thinking' job or need to plan something you will want to use thoughts as a tool. There is nothing wrong with that, as once the mind and I-thought has dissolved, thoughts are no longer a problem for you and nothing exists except the Self. Thoughts are still The Self, as ALL is the Self as are thoughts. The Self/ Awarenes/ The silence is forever clear of thoughts and always will be, however thoughts will still rise when they are needed. I LOVEE Ramana and his teaching, but context is very important, he lived in the East in a diaper, we live in the West in the modern world, unless you plan on becoming a monk you will find yourself thinking when necessary, but as I said it's so different than before, my thoughts no longer bother me, and like a tool are put down when not needed, the silence is ALWAYS there even when thinking though. It's a great paradox, a fun one too. Have an awesome day -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@mandyjw I've read interview transcripts and it's actually scary how you can see he was clearly awakened/ had awakenings. He did a fuck tonne of psyches though. so insights were probably also going to happen. But, also highlights the importance of shadow work, work on a human level and dealing with childhood trauma, mental illnesses& Psyches and that awakening will not solve all of life's problems as many will have you believe. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TRUTHWITHCAPITALT I agree he gives a great amount of stuff away for free and his book list and LP course are great. But, that doesn't make him a great spiritual teacher, like I said I feel for him as he began teaching very early in his journey which brings many challenges. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@zeroISinfinity Sorry but that's complete BS, and a total fantasy in my eyes, and is part of the issue. I promise I'm not meaning to be rude but this is a HUGEEE trap I constantly see, and one I fell for. You're telling me Self-Realized beings wouldn't get sad/ cry when a family member passes away, or they see injustice in the world? If anything I've noticed the opposite, you feel your emotions 1000x stronger as there's no longer any resistance, at the same time there's also nothing but space/awareness etc at the 'centre' of these thoughts and emotions therefore they are no longer sticky so to speak. Maybe for some Yogi's meditating in a cave 24/7 with no real responsibilities or traditional life you could stay in a bliss state 24/7, but in the real world it's very naive to think that. This sort of thinking promotes transcendence of the human condition rather than embodying and embracing your humanity, which is a KEY part of the work that is usually missed out on. @Haumea2018 used a great term for this 'PsychoSpiritual' learning who you are on a personality level is key, the term 'different strokes for different folks' is a great representation of this. Except without knowing about yourself, you won't learn your personal pitfalls and how to move past them. This is not a one size fits all teaching as many Neo-Advaitans would have you believe. Again, not at all meaning to be rude, but this can really hinder progress. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Enlightened As fuckkkkk. Finished? No, I don't think so. Dealt with his shadow? Again, no I don't think so. Enlightenment doesn't = Perfection. It goes way deeper than that, there's a case for saying Charles Manson being at the early stages of awakening- Interview saying 'I am nothing' etc, yet look what he did? Terrible behaviour is more common in sages in early awakening, what I would say are the 600s,700s, the deeper your awakening goes the less likely to commit poor behaviour, for example you're HIGHLY unlilely to see fully self-realized sages like Ramana or Rupert Spira doing this kind of shit, or having sex with students etc. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@electroBeam I agree with you on the positivity thing, Positive thinking and energy is all great etc But, when it's pushed 'you shouldn't feel bad or sad' etc it's fucking damaging. That leads to repression and suppression of feelings, true awakening is the complete opposite where you feel ALL of your emotions fully and allow all of your thoughts and actually deal with them, not just sweep them under the carpet with a facade of positivity, how can anyone expect to heal if they don't allow themselves to feel.
