  1. @Apparition of Jack Yep, that sounds about right. Growth is never easy, so growing to SD Green over here in the UK will be tough, too many with nationalist views atm, but the young generation are VERY green, so hopefully if that continues over the next 10-20 years, many more will follow suit. The rise of movements such as Veganism, Animal Rights, Workers Rights etc will all help spearhead people's growth!
  2. That's a good summary mate. But it goes way deeper due to the vested interests for Stage Orange and Blue, a development to Stage Green will never be easy, and this campaign proved that, we need a less radical leader I feel as this country isn't ready for Corbyn clearly! The problem is with that kind of majority we're looking at a decade of Boris Johnson, oh well. At least now Brexit is done, focus on real politics will be resumed, and maybe another 5 years of human development will see us ready for Green, the 18-30s are mainly Green so as that generation age and the younger generation come through as green, it's only a matter of time until we do evolve!
  3. Brexit and the fact the establishment made sure Corbyn was hated and regarded as a 'Commie' he probably was too radical. I'm most disappointed in that we are merely going backward with Brexit, it's based on nationalism, I was hoping Corbyn and Sanders would be the opening to Green the world needs, but clearly the consensus of Stage Blue and Orange aren't ready for that, even a lot of my frineds thought Labour were just promising stupid shit and lying despite 88% of Tory ads being lies. Oh well, we have another decade of Stage Orange conservatism, the only hope is that this is an Ego backlash and that people realize this can't be the way after this decade, and that Labor doesn't revert back to Conservatism with a Red tie. The Establishment have won again by using 3 words 'Get Brexit Done' and for whatever reason people care more about that then they do evolving as a country. But, with the education we're given, the Media being owned by Billionaires and the shaming of any form of Socialism and the Working Class, what else did we expect? It's more about evolving people, and even Labour constituencies chose nationalism over progressive politics, it shows us the level of development in this country, unfortunately, oh well, long way to go until we see progressive politics! @Leo Gura is there any hope for Bernie in 2020, is he likely to win and help the US begin to develop at least?
  4. Clearly Ralston just hasn't awakened the hart like 100s of other Non-Duality teachers, as Leo says there are manyfacets to awakening and not every teacher is finished, Ralston is one who is definitely not 'finished' so to speak, not shitting on him as his students clearly benefit from him, but just because someone is a teacher doesn't mean they are fully awakened. This is why I constantly recommend truly Self Realized beings to read and watch to understand what full self realization looks like. Eastern Examples- Ramana Maharshi, Nisgardatta Maharaj Western Examples- Rupert Spira, Adyashanti (more recent stuff), Ramaji and Francis Lucille Of course there's many more more but these are just examples of the top of my head. When you open yourself to love, your whole view on the 'world' changes yet again!
  5. @Raptorsin7 Most of it was from working with my teahcer, at this point I've only dived deeply into my own type to help with awakening. If you want to learn more defo PM me cos I don't wanna hijack the thread either, there's lots of great books. I'd also say just research the 9 types, you can do the Full test online as well, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. It's defo an amazing tool, for example Ramana Maharshi and Eckhart Tolle are Enneagram 9s hence the 'peace' vibe whereas Nisgardatta was an 8 hence the shouting and swearing, understand this helps you understand different teaching styles and personalities etc
  6. @Raptorsin7 The best analogy I heard from my teachers is this work is like this: You start with an extremely muddy car window. bit by bit the water is washing away this mud, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, but eventually you will see so clearly that the window will be perfectly clean, and this will be enough. Don't feel disheartened if this isn't enough yet, seek until you no longer feel the need to, even the slightest bit of lack is a sign to keep going, you'll know when you've arrived. @VeganAwake You sound like you're doing awesome man! And as others have said THIS only gets better and better the deeper we expand into it, also there's no limit to our love and expressing love!
  7. Awesome shit man, I love how you mentioned the practical side which many miss, and that's something for if I eventually become a teacher working with people I will always emphasise, as even after having awakenings I've realized the importance of the ordinary, actually the ordinary has become extraordinary but that's for another day. Things like Nutrition, Health, Fitness, Business, Relationships etc are also important and fucking great, I think for us westerners a 'Tantric' path that involves life is perfect. By Tantra I don't mean wild orgies but LIFE and embracing LIFE and enjoying every moment of it. Of course a basis of being a loving and kind person is essential for this, but I'm kinda taking that for granted. Also love the point of the 'don't do that cos it's low consciousness' if you want to go have friends with your mates and have a few drinks from time to time, or love playing a sport, you fucking should and enjoy it, this whole 'low consciousness' dig doesn't sit well with me at all if I'm honest. I disagree on certain aspects regarding 'Finishing' Spiritually, imo there's an end to 'seeking' and what begins is a love long expansion of deepening of rest in the absolute, and expanding our love, and of course doing our individual work. To me live only begins at this point, as once you live as The Absolute through this human, everything only becomes more sweet, even though the world doesn't actually exist and is The Self, what a paradox we live in- it's awesome. You seem like someone I'd get on with well, who wants to cut through a lot of the bullshit we see in this Non-Duality community (not just here) This is it, life is fucking amazing and should be lived to the full to each of our own desires. Awesome post.
  8. @undeather No need to get so defensive man, I just know people whos lives have been ruined by drugs (including Psyches) so tend to stay on the side of caution. A lot of the time people need more fundamental work than just a Shroom/ Acid trip, that's all, I like to look at things holistically. Like I said, when used properly Psyches can help people in amazing ways as you said, and I can't wait until they are properly administered for things such as Depression. And, if they helped you I'm super glad. Can you explain how they helped and the optimal way to actually help people with them? ANy resources to learn more. Beforehand, I knew they were great for insights into awakening, have heard MDMA's usage in PTSD therapy, Microdosings effects etc, but I would like to understand much more. I've also become a bit bias against them as I believe there are more efficient and safer ways to facilitate ones awakening, that's all
  9. Second what Leo said, as in find what works for you. Awakening doesn't mean you have to live in solitude, it might for some people of course. It could mean you throw yourself into the world and find a whole new group of friends, girlfriend etc. You don't have to talk about this stuff, I hardly/ never talk about awakenings, non-duality, personal dev with my mates because none of them ask/ don't want to hear it, just like I don't shove veganism down their throat. IF they ask about something I'm more than open to discuss it. It's more than okay to have interests outside of this btw, and once you 'finish' seeking unless you become a teacher of some sort you'll probably have an ordinary life. Like Rupert Spira and his teacher Francis Lucille NEVER talk about this stuff anymore as they have no need to and are 'normal' friends who often play tennis together for example. My teacher(s) live an ordinary life with each other, she actually has 3 kids, so that has its own challenges lol. For me I'm an enneagram type 7 and LOVE socialising, I go out most weekends with my friends/ Girlfriend, but I work from home, so that's my main form of social contact. In the winter for obvious reasons I'm inside a lot, but in summer during Cricket season I'm outside most eveings and weekend so socialise even more, if anything this work has improved my social skills massively. I feel people often underestimate how individual this work can be, depending on so many factors, so find what works best for you. One last thing is get out of your comfort zone, as a 7 I like to always be busy so I make sure to take time to spend alone and meditate and feel my emotions etc, whereas a 5 could hibernate all year so should really be going out socialising to improve their lives, its often the things we don;t want to do that will help us grow the most, and working with the Enneagram helped me understand why I didn't love meditation straight away and preferred reading/ watching to actually doing the work etc!
  10. @seeking_brilliance That's awesome then man! I'm glad Psyches helped you, hopefully they'll be legal and registered under supervision to help more people get them kind of results. I'm also glad you mentioned the Holistic side of things, as that's still very important imo.
  11. @herghly hmm potentially. Could be too early though, he seems heavily devoted to his LP and I'm not sure right now anything needs to get in the way of that
  12. Some of you may be familiar with Alex Becker, you've probably seen some of his YouTube ads at the minimum lol. Last year he's gone through some development, especially recently. He's become an extreme minimalist to completely devote himself to his business he loves (Life Purpose?) and hardly owns anything, on top of that he also is a millionaire so it's come from doing what makes him happiest and allows him to completely focus on his business without worrying about pulling money out the business. As an entrepreneur its inspiring, however, his business goals are in the 100's of Millions, well they were, so I don't think I'll go that extreme but it's definitely eye opening. My question is would you say this as an SD Orange, Green or Yellow move? I can't seem to figure it out. He's doing it to focus on his business and grow it, but it seems more green as the focus has turned completely to the customer and his team and not profit, as well as seeing through the trap of materialism that can come with an increased income. Check out the video or other videos on his channel yourself and lmk what you guys think about his growth.
  13. @outlandish @Gneh Onebar Yeah huge over here. And like Outladnish says that's basically what happens, I mean to me it seems more of a recreational substance and like any it comes with it's issues. This is where we could into the whole issue of legalisation so for those who do choose to consume Rec Drugs will at least have much purer stuff and there will be a MUCH greater emphasis on helping instead of demonizing people. Oh well, long way to before that happens it seems.
  14. @Spiral Wizard Yeah, his devotion to his LP is amazing though. And, it seems he's now focused on running a Green business but like you said hasn't developed into the Yellow territory yet.
  15. @VeganAwake No, you're misunderstanding me. If someone slaps you in the face you're going to feel it, I know what you mean by illusion, but honestly that is very early stage enlightenment. The Big Self is not an illusion, otherwise, you are saying Awareness/ The absolute etc is an illusion. You are currently in the stage of thinking you are nothing or no-thing, eventually you become everything and that's when it gets even more amazing The silence that never leaves, is the substance of absolutely everything, hence why the world doesn't exist. Ramana: On the Self/ Big I- 'If you hold this feeling of ‘I’ long enough and strongly enough, the false ‘I’ will vanish leaving only the unbroken awareness of the real, immanent ‘I’, consciousness itself” The Real is ever-present, like the screen on which the cinematographic pictures move. While the picture appears on it, the screen remains invisible. Stop the picture, and the screen will become clear. All thoughts and events are merely pictures moving on the screen of Pure Consciousness, which alone is real. I am not the perishable body, but the eternal Self. In terms of what needs to be understood, nothing on an absolute level as you said This is it. If we're talking about the relative, Lots, unless like Ramana you want to go and live in a diaper Self-Realization alone won't lead to awesome nutrition, finances, business/ career, relationships, social skills etc
  16. @VeganAwake 100% THIS IS IT. It really is it and it's amazing to rest here. However, you will still have an 'ego' and a personality, hence I recommend everyone to find out their Enneagram types, it is so essential to know yourself on a human level. I will always turn my head if someone says Charlie. However, the knowing shifts, you know yourself to be The Big Self, living through this vessel so to speak. And as you know that, you will still have feelings and thoughts and be able to interact with 'others' etc etc as if you were 'Charlie' in my case, but all the time knowing you are the Self, and that will forever change your life. If anything I have become SO much more emotional since awakening, and as an Enneagram 7 a key part of my journey is learning to embrace the full spectrum of emotions. Love always, Life is amazing P.S. May sound stupid but even Juice WRLD's passing sent a surge of sadness through me and brought me to tears, before I would've simply rejected the emotion and pushed it away, now I LOVE feeling emotions, it's what makes us human!
  17. If you're looking for a 'spiritual experience' from these Drugs, Nitrous is a party drug over here in the UK. It's used widely in the rave scene and by young people, and abroad on 'party islands' basically. I know some friends who have mixed nitrous with MDMA and Ketamine and said they went to 'another dimension' etc and they aren't spiritually inclined at all. However, yeah they can be very dangerous and risky and have been termed 'Hippy Crack' by the tabloid press over here lol after some Professional Footballers using them. Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth it as they can be addictive and quite risky, especially if you get hooked, I know people doing 'doubles' which is 2 canisters in one balloon, again dangerous. Use has been reduced by a show called 'Top Boy' which showed a scene of a character becoming paralysed after using Nitrous, great bit of anti-drugs promotion there, as that show is mainly watched by 15-30 year olds, and with rappers heavily promoting drugs in modern-day music, I feel they can be often over-glorified.
  18. @VeganAwake Just be careful, it sounds like you're doing great but it also sounds like your awakenings have a long way to go. Saying there is no you, is technically true but is very common in early awakenings, and since you just had a session with Fred that makes PERFECT sense. You're currently saying everything in a negative term subtly, there is no you, then what is everything? It's the same as non-duality 'Not Two' but you can't go around calling a Bannana a 'Non-Apple' do you get my point? IT goes WAYYYY deeper than 'No You' and 'NoSelf' for example if there's no self what is behind all of this, well Ramana calls it THE Self (With a capital S), and then you kind of drop the no self notion and realize EVERYTHING is The Self, there is no you, but there's also No Other, No World, No Anything EXCEPT The Self. This realization also helps awaken love, as why would you want to hurt yourself? No Self is only the beginning, maybe your ready for the deepest teachings now such as that of Ramana and Nisgardatta. But, remember to add context as these are Eastern gurus, a key point MANY seekers forget. By the way it sounds like you're doing amazing and had an awakening, but maybe Fred has given you all he can, as he's only in what I call the 600s, reading Ramana or Rupert Spira etc will give you a big shock, it did me as I was an Eckhart Tolle fanboy lol
  19. @undeather Can I ask what Psychedelics have to do with fixing one's life?
  20. @kamekat Haha, sound like exactly how I used to be! Other people's advice will be different to mine but I can only tell you what's worked for me. Of course, a standard meditation practice would be a good starting point, find a meditation that resonates with you if it helps you stick to it. Remember, meditation is every moment of your life also, and BE HERE NOW always, no matter whether you're at work, washing the dishes or listening to a teacher, this is it and live here now. Other practices like Yoga, Self Inquiry can be helpful. I'd also say foundational PD such as Exercise, Nutrition, Career/ Business shouldn't be overlooked. I can recommend some books and teachers that helped me, I work with one of them 1-1 and receive a Silent Transmission which has been the most helpful thing as well as finding out my enneagram type to overcome my own sticking points, everyone is unique and everyone's process is their own! No Mind, No Problem and 1000 by Ramaji are great books, as is his and Ananda Devis 1-1 coaching. Any of Ramana's/ Nisgardatta's teachings if you're ready for them It's hard to give recommendations without knowing you a bit better everyone is slighlty different and certain paths will work better for certain people, could you maybe expand a bit more on your journey/ story so far+ any current issues you are facing?
  21. As everyone else has said go enjoy life! There's no harm in having fun 2/30 days, that's less than 10% and if you're healthy 90% of the time there's not really any issue. Only time would be if you were trying to cut weight maybe switch to 'light' spirits to reduce caloric intake, but be careful drinking the same volume of spirits as beers.... Or you could offset it by simply lowering your calories on a drinking day, and having an 'extra healthy' day the next day maybe with a green juice, lots of water, sweating out the toxins, maybe a sauna/ steam room after a workout etc. But, as I said before go enjoy yourself man!
  22. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0yMj-s4r3ydlDtT9XlBUSw This channel would be a good start, foreplay is important as well as sex man. Also @Shin that advice is awesome. But if he wants to PU right now and sleep with multiple women, if he's doing it ethically and not manipulating these girls etc, I feel it's always best to not suppress something, just my 2 cents. But yeah, it will be harder to develop incredible skills on ONS, you could develop sort of FWB/ Casual things maybe to help?
  23. You don't have to get a shitty dead end job. What are your interests? You could do freelance work, start a small business etc, no need to go get a shitty job. But working can also teach you some important life lessons, also, no offence, relying on your parents will backfire in the long run, I get you're young now but be careful in the future, pave your own way in life
  24. What's your existential experience right now? Most importantly, realize this is it and you can NEVER figure this stuff out with your mind! I remember constantly being caught in thought loops!
  25. Long way to go yet bro, I've been there, sounds more like Nihilism than a true awakening, but it probably is a true awakening. Right now you've realized no self, probably the first 'chapter' of awakening. Wait until you open the heart, realize you are everything and then realize that the Self is literally all, it will become much harder to treat yourself like shit, than it is when you think there is an other. There is no OTHER just YOU, so the person you're treating like shit is YOU, also if you need a concept to help you, Karma still exists, so you treat people like shit and you'll face some sort of consequences. Here's some food for thought, Charles Manson was awakened and look at the shit he caused, look at Bentino Massano. Stop thinking you're above others, and realize you are literally them, go deeper into the awakening and open yourself to love and from there compassion comes naturally. Good luck mate, remember You are those people you're treating like shit, and if they've got self respect they'll pull you up on it and won't let you get away with it. It's a common issue with enlightenment that people subtly, or not so subtly, start thinking they're better than others and nothing matters so they rationalize their shitty behavior, bring some awareness to this.
