The guy didn't have a great psychological foundation and was basically a drug abuser long before he got into psychedelics with his channel. 5meodmt, lsd these things are tools but they will not fix you. It takes more than just that... I don't think people should rely on a substance to completely change you. I don't think he ever really got into 5meo though...

@Matt23 I love weed. but, I’m maturing and growing out of it. It doesn’t love me. It was an abusive relationship and I don’t deal with Mary she’s a narcissist now it’s sober, qigong, wellness etc and the occasional infinite love here or there. I don't smoke weed.

Try not to get COVID in the process I guess. it’s not a free speech place and the science around vaccines is pretty solid. I personally don’t ascribe to the COVID vaccine conspiracy and didn’t need Leo’s opinion on it.

@Marioxs34 reason actually can’t grasp the absolute truth. Nor can it dispose an altered state. Explain your stance please. Your reason is an experience. Manipulating reality isn’t the same as truth. I can use reason to lie and manipulate for example. your allowed to ask these questions. It is important. no one including Leo is saying reason is bad. It’s just not able to grasp metaphysical truths like consciousness.

@Marioxs34 because thought and reason is happening at a certain state of consciousness. There are higher and truer states. However, your ‘structure’ is crucial to understand these states. Reason and intellect is crucial for survival

Personally, as long as your flexible and your knees aren’t hurting you are okay. I will look more into it. I meditate these days sitting ? in a chair more Qigong style anyway. Not convinced the knees don’t benefit from no linear stretching but will look more deeply

Sobriety is much better than being stoned and playing music feels way better. I find when I play guitar it’s like non-stop orgasm. Honestly, song writing jab better than sex in terms of sheer pleasure.

You wanna remineralize your water for sure @GrowthPilgrim problem there is you don’t know how pure the water is and the potential for leaking plastic. Plus, if you do the math of doing this regularly it adds up over the years and it isn’t holistic because you are creating garbage and shipping water long distances

@OBEler no, he just needed to be sober, do therapy and work on his relationships. or, set reasonably mature tripping protocols And cut out the stuff that’s not high quality. so maybe ibogain.. but it needs more than just that. It needs intentional maturity.

It’s super important we cultivate a mature, 'spirituality professional’ culture around this. I suspect many people coming into this work will make this mistake early on and we want to create information for them to limit and avoid abusing and misusing these tools.
