  1. @Kross I fall into this. It’s almost always there a little bit. I find I just have to take action regards. I also find meditate, Qigong, journaling… when I do it in that order I find when I journal I start to think more positively. Not sure why yet. Also, a decent mushroom trip once a month to shed the cobwebs. I also accept that this feeling, or these thoughts happen and I express them to myself or here. I find venting helps in some way. Then I just keep moving forward.
  2. @Nilsi oops, I meant what age was he when he wrote the book in which it had a 400 page bibliography. It’s not an insane amount given his age either nor given his works. ive probably got about 200 books right now… @gettoeflThats somewhat true. It really depends I think. Some fields are complex enough that things still take time to integrate. Also, the last chapter thing is nonsense. I’ve read enough books where the last chapter is a stand alone point that I wouldn’t do that. I would rather instead read the table of contents then skim through the book reading all the headers and sub headers, tables and any text boxes. That’s a better way to get a rough outline at least. Even then, you only what what a book says when I you read it.
  3. @Nilsi Eitherway he is brilliant. His autobiography was written at what age? As a writer of his caliber you naturally read more than an average… which, now that I think of it isn’t hard as most don’t read.
  4. @LordFall ahah you wouldn’t even think it possible likely Hell, maybe you’d be the owner
  5. @ThePoint yup all the time. I know more about it now than before. I use a remarkable 1, what do you use?
  6. @ThePoint had I had an ego backlash after shamanic breathing. Deleted it all and went back to school. Though, maybe I’ll do it again. Ive got to find some way of escaping and doing what I like that helps the world. I think I am in a better place. I’m considering starting again. I regret deleting what I had. But, anyway.
  7. @Nilsi something like 200 if you read one a week. He probably doesn’t read them cover to cover
  8. That’s bullshit. Maybes that’s for them. My work won’t even let me wear a hat when I’m cold at my own desk. Fuck that.
  9. I had a YouTube channel teaching people journaling, affirmation and contemplation techniques specifically for e-ink tablets. I had done some simple organic marketing and had a few potential buys. But due to some other circumstances and my own immaturity I deleted the channel and pages and went back to school to study accounting to get a more solid “base”. I am going to escape wage slavery somehow. I need to stop looking at this marketing course as just a mistake and a debt load and instead look at it as learning ti hunt and escape trading all my time for fucking pennies. Plus, having to work around people I have to hide my true self from is so annoying. People are retarded. I’m finding a way out or I’m killing myself. I’m not gonna be a slave for this entire life. Or, that’s that’s what I have to be then I’d rather die.
  10. @Hello from Russia ha ha Except the only my way out is to become extremely valuable or suicide.
  11. @Leo Gura Sure feels that way when ur a wage slave
  12. “So, what personal development topics are there to talk about? - Leo Gura
  13. @Fluran don’t?
  14. Make friends with one. They are really good listeners.
  15. @RandomToolGuy It’s historically wrong what they say. You won’t get a fully balanced and integrated spiritual practice with only one technique. If you look at what Buddhism actually is… and it’s history you see that there were many different schools, different interpretations and different practices. These technologies developed over time and there was always long in fighting amongst Buddhist/ toasit schools. Nothing wrong I think with going deep into vipassana. Just ignore the bullshit dogma.
  16. It’s a lot… be careful start low… when you do it right it’s perfection.
  17. Namaste Trip safely.
  18. Leave when you can
  19. Leave when you can
  20. Another thing is to remember there are many different spiritual technologies. People will find what works for them and get the results those have to offer.
