@Something Funny Qigong is the practice of directing and a balancing your life force energy. It involves stretching, breathing, tapping/ self massage, flowing movements and more. Where other forms of exercise focus on strength, endurance, flexibility, or sport specific skills Qigong is more focused on developing relaxation and suppleness in the body. Its also focused on balancing and directing the life force energy, and cultivating a more relaxed, balanced and harmonious inner life energy/ state. It’s almost a 180 compared to a lot of exercise. Qigong is essentially a moving mediation that involves what I stated above. Western yoga uses a lot of lunging type poses and postures while qigong is considerably less strenuous generally and is more flowing compared to postural. Focused on stretching…They are similar practices and shared a lot in their development. However, Qigong is more gentle, flowing and focused on balancing the life force energy. Where modern yoga holds postures Qigong flows and moves with relaxation. However, there are thousands of types of Qigong and some practices are more focused on stretching, spinal health, curing depression, lung health, the Heath of certain organs, moving energy through certain pathways, developing inner peace, improving protective Qi, relaxing, waking up the body, etc there’s so many types of Qigong. Qigong is from China, Chinese medicine Yoga is from India, aryuveda -

Meadowlark, fly away down I hold a cornucopia and a golden crown For you to wear upon your fleeced down My meadowlark sing to me Hummingbird, just let me die Inside the broken ovals of your olive eyes I do believe you gave it your best try My hummingbird sing to me, My hummingbird sing to me Don't believe a word that I haven't heard Little children laughing at the boys and girl The meadowlark singing to you each and everyday The arc light on the hill side and the market in the hay

@Mahyar Have you spoken to Angels? Don't you speak other people everyday? How would that prove or disprove solipsism speaking to an angel? Do you know that Kabbalah completely understands reality? or is that just an assumption you have? Why don't you deeply question the potential limitations of Kabbalah? And your third point didn't really make any sense to me? How would these experiments or beliefs prove or disprove free will? How does the unique individual soul prove or disprove free will. Can you explain? -
@TwistedOntic Not familiar with the microphones but familiar with whole Fleet Foxes discography! It took me a while to get into their two most recent. they just posted a new song on YouTube.

@StarStruck nah, Qi will move through the meridians even if you lay down. Kundalini ain’t the only energy in town. my understanding of kundalini is usually pretty hang, he wants to relax then he needs a more yin approach. Relaxing, stretching, slow deep breathing. -

@Julian gabriel Ignore peoples dogma around what is the correct way to meditate. I have read enough books on meditation to know now there are different postures that all have their own pros and cons. If you are looking to deeply relax the body, then laying down is the best option. It’s best to be well rested, and maybe even take a cold shower before hand. Then use the body scan, visualization and even Tao Yin techniques to deeply relax the body and purge out toxic Wi while breathing it ‘Golden’ Qi. Qi is a good word to study and understand philosophically. You are more likely to fall asleep if you lay down. But, there’s points to be made there. Sometimes we need to sleep…. Simple explore different styles. There are different styles of meditation. As well of different postures etc 1. laying 2. cushion 3. chair 4. Standing in tree pose (super powerful meditation) etc
