Great video overall. Leo knows how to market his stuff. The end was spectacular because he highlighted the importance of open-mindedness. I think it's the most important quality for this work. I haven't done any psychedelics whatsoever yet, but I look forward to doing some as soon as possible. .. Finally, Leo is bringing something new to the table. I got sick of him repeating himself all the time. Actualized.org needs more variety. This video is going to be very interesting! .. Such a beautiful and haunting song! There are a couple of ways to answer this question; Because it doesn't matter what you do with the money. Because an enlightened person is usually highly moral and more developed than the average person. So, putting money to their use would be a more intelligent idea. In this specific case, it's like taking money away from kids and putting it in the parents' hands. Surely, the parents know better. Because they may be foolish enough to fall asleep again. Money is tempting, and not everyone is capable of controlling themselves when the opportunity shows itself. Some people are weak and can fail to be selfless when need be even if they want to be. Because they may be selfish. Ego-death does not automatically make you compassionate. Compassion is a learned quality.

Not at all. This makes perfect sense, because we create the self for a purpose and then we try to deconstruct it for another purpose, but then we forget what those purposes were. That's the whole trick in a nutshell. There's nothing to do and nowhere to be, except where "we" want to go or be. Something from nothing, just like everything else. We're a lie ? There's not a spiritual ego. Not even an ego to begin with. They're just games, sandcastles, or steps for God's evolution.

So, I'm back. I went this morning and applied for a German language course. Practically, the whole course is 6 levels. Each level is 63 hours distributed on 7 weeks. Each week has 9 hours distributed on 3 days. The course starts on Sunday, March 1st. I'll be taking the first level and see where it'll get me. I'm excited about this. The first level ends on Thursday, April 16th. Of course, for me to reach the next level, there will be a test. I've skimmed some general overview over German and I think it's not a difficult language considering that I'm good at English which isn't my native language to begin with. But anyway, we'll see ?? .. My last couple of days have been completely effortless. It's amazing! There's not a single bit of resistance or suffering, thanks to Love. With Love, you know that everything is alright. You know that nothing can or will ever go wrong. You know that this is the best thing there is. What's there to fear or reject or resist? It's the ultimate freedom! .. I might start experimenting with cold showers. I don't know, but I find this idea intriguing. I tried it once before, but I was forced and I was full of resistance. Maybe now with this enhanced awareness things will change.

I shed a tear listening to this towards the end. "You have no good reason not to completely love and accept yourself. You are your own chosen one. You are so greatly loved. There is an Author - that is the true you who loves you like a child, like a part of them." .. Today I've finished the exams for the first semester of the fifth year of college. I went on a night out with my brother. We had a great time. We played video games (Blur) and enjoyed it. The atmosphere reminded me of the time when this song was a hit ??

With the dream paradigm in mind instead of the materialist paradigm; why not use the night-time-sleeping-dreams instead of psychedelics? What more clarity can psychedelics offer over a dream experience? If it's simply a game of paradigms, then what's the difference? I mean if simply changing my perspective to a broader one is going to solve the problem, then what's the point of using psychedelics? Why not just expand my perspective and be done with it? Keep in mind that this expansion is supposedly infinite.

@Serotoninluv Thanks for sharing your insights and experiences. It sounds like my experience is kind of different from yours and Leo's. I agree, though. I don't think of reality as a hotel. I just think of it as Reality/Truth/God/Wonder/Awe/etc; and more recently as Love.

I was up last night in the middle of the night feeling immense love. I looked at my hands and cried. They're pure Love. This screen is Love. These letters are Love. Everything is Love. Look at me now and tell me; what isn't Love?! Love is even more fundamental than Truth! Truth needs a mind to confirm it while Love doesn't. It's just purer and truer than the truth! .. The duality of high vs. low consciousness has collapsed for me. I've been going through the worst ego-backlash of all time and I went with it without a bit of resistance. Luckily enough, I got to be aware of Love throughout the whole thing, and it helped and clarified a lot of things. Basically, I've spent the last week or so chatting with the lowest conscious people you could possibly know. Funny thing is that not only I've enjoyed every moment of it, but I've also learned a lot of things. It's really just a matter of attitude. If you're a good student, then everyone and everything is a good teacher. Now, it's obvious to me that it's impossible to have high consciousness without having low consciousness in the first place. And in fact, the whole hierarchy has collapsed. There's no such thing as consciousness or awareness contrasted to unconsciousness or unawareness. This is simply a false system. It's a relative system, to be more accurate. It is meant to be a tool or a pointer, not the truth. What really happens is that there's an "I" that is aware, and there is God that encapsulates the "I" and everything else. So, in this sense, God is consciousness, and "I" is awareness. So, what is unconsciousness? It's simply what "I" is not aware of (subconscious mind). How to be aware of unconsciousness? By meditation and other practices. Psychedelics seem to basically have a unique capability to bring up the subconscious mind to awareness; "I". In another sense, awareness is simply the sensations. And when you increase your awareness, you increase your ability to be present to sensing more things that you were missing out on before. There is no mystery here. Awareness is unconsciousness experienced in a deeper and slower pace. It is a bit difficult to map it out, because it seems like consciousness has two main components; quality and quantity. So, the higher the quality and quantity are, the more aware and present, and the less neurotic and resistant you become. This is what they refer to as "vibration". Now it gets a little bit interesting. This could potentially help healing a lot of mental problems. For example, it seems like OCD is basically an increase of the quantity of consciousness over its quality. Wow! Imagine if we could deeply investigate and study consciousness according to this model. I will be trying to do that. Imagine if we could prove that OCDs can be treated simply by increasing the quality of consciousness or by decreasing its quantity. What a breakthrough would that be?! Oh, you have an OCD? Okay, just practice this method for 30 days and you will cured! Imagine!

I would say it's more related to stress and trauma that is stored in the body. I used to experience it on a daily basis in the past before I learned about meditation, healing, shadow work, and spirituality in general. I also used to live in a noisy environment (right next to a huge noisy engine room). It was hell. However, I've never experienced it probably for three consecutive years now. My sleeping schedule is messy but it's comfortable, I sleep whenever I feel tired and wake up whenever I've had enough sleep (I don't sleep much though, average 5-6 hours per 24 hours).

@Trox097 Very interesting! Thanks. @Serotoninluv I'm not saying there's anything wrong with different states. I'm not denying them. What I'm trying to say is this; Leo said that the truth which gets revealed by psychedelics is a meta awareness of the states. But in my experience, this can easily be replaced by changing paradigms without necessarily having to experience a psychedelic state, because once you move to the dream paradigm, dreams will be viewed as states as well. It seems like open-mindedness is rather the most important factor in here. So, the point is that I don't see the point in using psychedelics for this purpose in particular. Maybe they help reveal insights or achieve a certain blissful state or do something else, but this 'meta awareness' that Leo is speaking of seems to have a stronger relationship with the paradigm from which you're approaching the whole understanding of reality, not from the method that is used to do so.

The answer is relative to the outcome(s) you're looking for. What are you practising meditation to achieve?

Keep tracking one of them, and you will reach the other. It will go full-circle. The ego is consciousness. The distinction between the two is of your own creation.

The path needs to exist in the first place in the mind and then the mind needs to get exhausted and give up the path. A story has to take place and then unravel. Such is the game of life; Evolution.

I would guess it's because the majority of Americans are success and results oriented (stage Orange), which require a lot of seriousness by definition.

But then again, I could always dismiss it as hallucinations and brain activity, which can be proven through scientific studies (speaking from the materialist paradigm). So, what's the point? To me, it seems more like an ideology to be honest.

Not at all. Money and success are almost irrelevant to your level of development and understanding of reality. Those things are mostly related to blind luck and opportunity.

When Adam and Eve sinned, they felt ashamed. They created shame out of Love. They thought that they betrayed God, but they never knew that God cannot be harmed. God never judged them, but they judged themselves. God never shut the doors, but they did. They ran, and tried to escape the mess they'd created, only to find themselves in a deeper hell. There's always a road back to God; That's God's message, and it's written on every door. Wherever I look, I see Love. I can't perceive anything other than Love. I am Love.

I always wonder; what's the point of understanding?

Evolution is moving forward at the moment, but it may take steps back. Nobody knows!

When you're playing, shut down all unrelated mental activities, especially time-wise. Fully blend with the game. Become one with it.

@Maharani It's freedom through determinism. We as egos just like to complain, and that's part of the goodness, love, and intelligence of God. In the end of the day, if any ego was given foresight into the future and was given the choice to change its destiny, it would choose its determined one, the one that God has chosen already. Why? Because the determined one is the most good, full of love, and intelligent one for the ego. This manifested world is God's gift to the ego. The feeling of freedom is there, because we're free, because we're God, but egos lack acceptance. If they could accept, they would align with God and become angels.

...then why am I experiencing infinity (myself) from this position and not all other (or any other) positions? The answer usually dismisses any kind of intellectual activity as just thoughts, nonsense, and monkey-mind chatter, while paradoxically, using thoughts, another intellectual activity, and different thought-stories to explain the answer from the spiritual perspective. The answer usually points to being, which frankly does not answer the question. Wouldn't it be more honest to admit that we don't actually know? Wouldn't it be more truthful to admit that all we have is stories? If I am truly consciousness and infinite, then why am I finite? Can there be a true story? Are all stories irrelevant? Or, is the true story that all stories are irrelevant? Why am I?
