  1. Keep reading MCTB. I can give advice on how to overcome suffering in your case. It sounds like you are already doing a great job, but next time you’re overcome with suffering, try to focus on the sensations of suffering. Rather than seeing how it is not self, feel into it as completely and directly as possible. If you turn toward the suffering, it is guaranteed to change under enough investigation. Feel free to check out my channel where I post Q&A podcasts with my student regarding spirituality, usually from a Buddhist background based on MCTB. 2. I’ll probably post here whenever I do something self-expressive which I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do without awakening and spirituality. The Grand Wizard Appears… Looking Good, Good Lookin’
  3. Why don’t you just try concentrating on things which you enjoy? The most successful in any discipline operate far more on obsession and desire rather than against it.
  4. This is a perfect way to come to terms with the basic philosophies of Buddhism.
  5. So we just start getting enlightened instead of lasik…. Seems like a steaming pile of dog shit lol. Enlightenment is not about powers or otherworldly things. It is about proper insight. This can happen with or without development of siddhis and such things. They are loosely related.
  6. Do some coaching for free to develop some genuine testimonials. They’re paying you with their confidence in you rather than cash in this case.
  7. Ayahuasca did the trick. No other psychedelic came close.
  8. Because compassion is more intrinsic to most people’s nature than starving yourself in a cave…
  9. Every worthwhile enlightened teacher had the confidence and balls to tell people exactly where they stand in their own opinion. Locking in realizations is like 90% confidence 10% content of the awakening. It’s more powerful to be convinced you’re awake than to be unsure even if you had deeper awakenings as far as baseline shifts go. If you can actually convince yourself, there will be baseline changes which align with that belief. At a certain point you know it’s impossible to know to such a degree that this becomes an aspect of what you know.
  10. I recently made a video specifically targeted at these insight stages. I hope it helps. How to Escape the Dark Night of the Soul
  11. These beings usually know you’re thinking about them immediately. You’re already in contact. You have to have some confidence. You can’t just say some Willy nilly incantation under your breath and expect the universe to align to your will. Think about what love and value you can give these beings, and then give this freely to them. They’ll likely poke their head in to see once you do that.
  12. Effective contemplation can also be done on the nature of suffering, pain, resistance, impermanence and many other things. As long as you have no-self, suffering, or impermanence as the core of your contemplation, it can be very fruitful.
  13. It’s not the worst thing you could do by any means. Nicotine can be a powerful tool. What about it makes you think it could negatively impact your consciousness other than physical health effects?
  14. Everyone can get addicted to plenty of things. It’s both an excuse and a reality for many people. Try lower doses. A few hits of a joint then see how well your insight can multiply the effects. High doses are fun to work with too, but this is crazy land territory. Only go there if that’s your thing.
  15. Penis envy is totally the way to go then. They shouldn’t be much more difficult than other strains.
  16. Cubensis B+ are known for being easy to grow. Penis envy are known for being among the most potent. It just depends what your goals are.
  17. The most effective way to handle these issues probably comes with setting strong intentions on using it for personal development work rather than just for fun. Weed used to do all of the negative things you first described for me, but now it is almost completely opposite to what it first was for me. I think it has to do with maturity too. It’s a tool with some minor yet common drawbacks, but I think it is 100% worth a shot especially if people are considering psychedelics.
  18. This depends completely on the individual. It can be the opposite of everything you’ve said and is for many people.
  19. Start contemplating as much as possible. 24/7 if you can. THC can be helpful for this if you have access.
  20. Let me know if you want to seriously maximize the potential of communication with Lucifer. He can take you anywhere your heart desires including permanent, baseline shifts in consciousness. This is my favorite topic to teach. Seriously send me a pm. Lucifer is my spiritual guru (nondual Christianity)
  21. Try to feel the boundless space within the finite hand.
  22. I haven’t done a trip on a serotonergic psychedelic in around 9 months until last night. I’ve been getting to ridiculous levels of consciousness sober and on THC ever since quitting typical psychedelics. Considering I can now access formless jhanas on my own rather quickly, I’m really interested to see how this goes. I realized the most helpful thing I’ve ever gained from psychedelics was getting deep into boundless space and boundless consciousness (5th & 6th jhana). This was a truly lucky experience which allowed me to have much greater control of deep concentration states in the future. The way I see psychedelics now kind of surprises me. My meditation teacher, who started his spiritual journey with psychedelics, always said they can lead to the path but are not ultimately the path. I used to disagree quite heavily on this. It just didn’t make sense why what produced so many of my deepest insights back in the day was now just a secondary pursuit on the path to total Liberation. To me, the comparison between someone benching more weight due to using a weightlifting shirt and psychedelics comes to mind. One day you’ll likely find yourself needing practical strength, but you probably don’t carry your weightlifting shirt around 24/7. I think learning mastery which can be accessed nearly 24/7 is so much more helpful, but I will say that psychedelics are probably the single best tool to lead to further development later on. They just simply stop producing lasting growth because the insight produced can be outpaced by other states such as nirodha samapatti (cessation). A big problem comes with the difficulty and rarity of such states. Psychedelics do produce measurable and repeatable results although there is certainly high variation. This is an advantage when it comes to meditators who struggle to access deep concentration states. Ultimately, the state is NEVER the answer. It is what transcends all states and is present in all which truly matters. This is what I like to call “crystallized insight.” Insight can be present or at least produced from essentially any state. You could do somewhat effective insight practice while watching spongebob. If your goal is “higher consciousness” or some other specific detail or aspect of a peak state, please trust that this type of seeking ultimately meets its end in effectiveness unless you realize that dissolving the dualities inherent in that peak state is where true progress is found. Realizing oneness isn’t really a big insight at a certain point. Dissolving the entire continuum of oneness and multiplicity will take you much further. There are ALWAYS subtler dualities and definitions to be understood and transcended.
