  1. It stems from people in positions of authority wanting control over the masses. Very fundamentally related to the survival of the ego by those in power. By brainwashing others that a fundamental part of human biology was sinful and instilling fear in them for giving in to their natural sexual desires they can more easy control the masses while they indulge in all of that themselves because they self-justify as being above their own rules.
  2. It seems to me what you are describing is the typical way of thinking about karma. But what if becoming CEO lets say for a company that is changing lives for the better didn't result in them suffering a tremendous loss just because of their success in life, and instead just reaped more blessings?
  3. Maybe something that can be requested beforehand, not to have that happen? Seems like something that you could even sue them for. Maybe not technically, not sure, but it seems like that is a breach of human rights. Definitely sad to hear .
  4. If you believe you can't do something you will turn it into your reality. Its a self fulfilling prophecy. Don't fall into the trap of using "my brain" "my genetics" as excuses for not being able to do something. That is a victim mentality belief that you are buying into that will make you miss out on life. Even if you look at it through the scientific paradigm genetics are not set in stone. They constantly change based on your thoughts/lifestyle/food you put in your body, ect. As for the silly pill discussion, the only pill you need should have ground up psilocybin mushroom in it, taken on an empty stomach with a proper intention.
  5. Around 4 years ago my initial catalyst for radically opening my mind was cannabis. Especially edible cannabis. Made me think about concepts more deeply and seemed to open up a new spiritual plane of existence. Spent hours watching youtube videos about mystical topics that stimulated my curiosity in contrast to the mind numbing entertainment I was used to exposing myself to. Spent countless hours researching articles on the web about states of consciousness/the soul/death/human nature, ect. With my life history/childhood I think it had a unique interaction with me, and probably other factors were playing into my mind opening up around that time too. It helped me break out of a cult christian fundamentalist religion I was born and indoctrinated into. And I began getting highly interested in studying psychedelics. I didn't have my first psychedelic experience with mushrooms until 3 years later though. Also to add nowadays it doesn't give me those same benefits. The more often I do it the less benefit I get. More often than not if I do it now and get really high I will be in this state where I wish I didn't do it to myself because I feel this unpleasant lethargic feeling. So I pretty much stopped using it. It used to help me sleep better too but now I feel it worsens my sleep because my body temperature feels dysregulated and my mind/thinking is too ramped up. Going forward I plan on doing it once in a blue moon because once in a while I will get a valuable insight/perspective shift from it.
  6. @Rasheed Check out this article + podcast/transcript, highly informative. Ben Greenfield is imo the best source for nutritional science advice in the world of fitness and performance. https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/article/plant-based-diet/ https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/podcast/nutrition-podcasts/episode-230-full-transcript/
  7. @Average Investor Thanks for sharing. I've been interested in bitcoin but don't want to make those beginner mistakes of losing coins or not going about it in the most optimal way. It isn't a super high priority in my life right now to start doing deep research about it, would take time away from a lot of my other pursuits but its something I want to incrementally learn about so I can one day use it. I used to be more or less tech savy but fell off the wagon a bit.
  8. This guy is most definitely yellow in a lot of aspects. He goes meta on the fitness world. Good example of systems thinking. Has the most advanced perspective on training/human movement, more than 99% of other trainers/fitness coaches.
  9. @Average Investor Interesting. What exactly do you mean by cold storage? Not even downloaded on a computer hard drive but stored in an external device?
  10. An athletic woman doesn't have to be masculine at all. An athletic woman is in good physical shape, which is naturally attractive to the opposite sex. A masculine woman, physically, would most likely be taking substances/compounds to build more lean muscle tissue than her body is normally capable of. A naturally strong woman who works out or plays sports is still going to have a feminine figure. Those man-like muscles don't happen without some chemical assistance in the vast majority of cases.
  11. @Christine Alaby You should check out the book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Dr Stephen Laberge if you haven't already. So much depth and detail about lucid dreaming and how to induce it. Lot of metaphysical concepts in there as well as scientific information, although the book was published in the early 90's, it feels like it hasn't aged at all.
  12. The way I think about curvy is slightly different than the "plus sized model" type. Which is probably what you are thinking about. So I could have used a better word choice. The way I think of curvy is athletic body type with wide hips but not quite plus size model status.
  13. To me this sounds like your mind playing a trick on yourself. What is this different realm you wake up in the morning? Negative emotions?
  14. You're embarrassed about dating the sexiest of girls? Curvy to me usually implies in shape (depending on how curvy), some healthy meat on the bones, exaggerated feminine figure. Which is what a masculine man is most naturally attracted to, am I wrong here? Nothing to be embarrassed about. So many guys like curvy girls, actually I thought that more often than not, most men do nowadays, so there is no reason to be insecure.
  15. @DrewNows Definitely, in my post I was trying to convey its just not in a perfect correlation. There are some people eating amazing raw diets with optimal health but are still caught up in false paradigms and all that. They definitely go hand in hand though and if you are trying to raise your LOC with poor foods you're going to hit a low ceiling. Im with you 100%
  16. Have you heard any of the latest on the issues behind people randomly losing their coins, for whatever reason they can't access them or they disappear? In which case you're fucked.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Hell of a 1st post! Very interesting. Any resources you would recommend for information about ALD-52?
  18. No food is going to directly raise your level of consciousness. But its a very healthy addition to your diet and you can use it as a tool to aspire to better health along with the rest of the foods you put in your body which will catalyze/make raising your consciousness much easier.
  19. I used to feel the same way, but it would only really be an issue if instead of urinals, at certain places it would be kind of like a long bathtub/sink against the wall with no dividers or any sort of separation in between. It was at a festival/fair setting where that kind of urinal would appear. The way to get over this is to simply face your fear, whip it out, pee and not care at all. Keep doing it consistently and it will become a non issue. If someone is looking over at your penis thats on them. Maybe they are gay for you or something, take it as a compliment.
  20. I wouldn't know because I've never smoked cigarettes or been addicted to nicotine, but theres a health and fitness professional I follow that recommended a nicotine gum with 2mg of nicotine each piece that doesn't have any additional additives/chemicals or anything like that. I assume that would be better for you than vaping by eliminating all the other processed things that the vape brings into your lungs. But since vaping is similar to smoking (inhaling something) I could see why psychologically it could perhaps works better. Just giving my 2 cents if anyone wasn't aware of such gums existing.
  21. What about nicotine gum? Thats even better for tapering off than vaping.
  22. He has like hundreds of videos, you could rewatch any of them and would probably do more good by letting information sink deeper or catch things you missed the first time. Or dedicate the time for actual practice of techniques
  23. @petar8p Right, I wasn't implying that you thought you had to. But you could argue you are using your critical thinking faculties even more by actively not doing so despite the subconscious tendency to do so(if you get that). Just like society, there are going to be people in places of hierarchy who have a badge or a license or degree/credential, which definitely affects other peoples subconscious, but you have to use your own critical thinking not to value them more just because of that.
  24. How would the world function with just monks? Who is gonna grow/hunt the food? Build the homes? Run the government? Provide medical services? It could never be like that.
  25. Do you mean count them cooked? You won't be consuming them raw so the macro count will be more accurate after the food is cooked which is the portion you eat.
