  4. I downloaded this app called Habits. Put down a few of the habits you REALLY care about developing. You can go on the app and put a check mark next to each habit once you do it. It allows you to visually see which habits you've been skipping in the past few days and therefore you can plan an commit to how you will make sure you do it the next day. It's also good to put things that you feel would TRULY make a great impact on your life. Meditation... probably, etc... Therefore, when you catch yourself doing something else like reaching for the TV remote, you will reconsider how it aligns with your goals and life.

  13. @Ya know I'll give my personal XP. Ever since I went I "awakened" I stopped liking this sort of stuff also. RSD, success driven, self help, etc... But once my experience stabilized and I came a little back to reality I realized that some lower things that I can't just drop unless they are fulfilled (Maslow) would not stop bothering me. I could meditate all day but those lingering issues would always eat at me. This is why I am going stronger than ever at Orange (even if I know some of these people are not Eckhart Tolle, I know there are things they can teach me). Lastly, pick whoever you want. But if you have a pussifier attitude towards life (be honest with yourself), you need a system and mentors that will hold you accountable and thus preventing you from resorting back to bitch tendencies.
  14. @VerballyHazardous LMAO. This actually sounds like a LeO quote

  17. Some models of enlightenment such as Buddhism train you how not to be affected by your emotions, karma, sensations, etc..., in a very thorough way. However, is there drawbacks to doing this? Other models, such as trauma work, emotional release, etc..., emphasize release of these emotions. These two methods seem to be antagonistic in my view and perhaps from a Buddhist perspective emotional release may even be a waste of time and effort. I'm just trying to reconcile how the two fit next to each other since historically they don't seem to go together at all, yet in modern times we seem mention them as if they go together in this path.
  18. @Leo Gura in case you ever leave. thanks for everything! edit: update to thread That holotropic breathing stuff works. I started crying (also intense dreams). Real crying and my facial muscles contorted in ways that my stoic face could previously not accomplish even if I teared up my facial muscles were quite still in the past. Am going to keep at it and also do some of Jack Willis' Neo-Reichian stuff for emotional release. He gives away the book for free actually and is more gentle and thorough than other approaches: https://reichiantherapy.info/book in pdf/Reich home Book.pdf
  19. @fridjonk seth is FANTASTIC! I meant the forum in general. There's strong prejudice against orange but we'd be nonfunctional if we did not integrate all the stages synergistic ally.
  20. @fridjonk there seems to be plenty of prejudice against stage orange here... if we are making is a binary hierarchy and seeing each preceeding stage as purely inferior then we why you learn from Seth, when you can learn from stage Tortoise guys? The people judging him have not seen 10 commandments. No doubt if you have lingering orange aspects to deal with he would be a great mentor since he's not gonna bullshit and you won't get away with your fear driven spiritual escapism. Lastly, if you already have had glimpses or hold traits of higher stages, then just frame his advice under your green or higher paradigms and the glove still can fit!
