  2. there's no cheating. you can drink a whole bottle of alcohol and do meditate. meditation is not biased towards this and that. you wouldn't drink alcohol because it would lower the quality of concentration, whatever suits you is the best option.
  3. what thing did you do in your meditation? don't try to force things, if you do, you'll end up getting the intense feeling of uncomfort. try to get engrossed in daily activities in order to get balanced and re-grounded.
  4. it's better to experience it by yourself. till the moment you haven't, all of those are vain and futile.

  9. it means that in our practices, we would have an inner experience that appears to be more real than any outer ones. that's when your memories peel off energetically from you even though you remember them.

  11. why do we need all sorts of machines? because those are created to automate the boring and repetitive stuff for us, the more you get smarter, the more you will show willingness to give up your part of daily activities to machines or other people.
  12. most of people who are really hardcore in self-actualization constantly doing every kind of practices to get there. you know what I mean after they come back, their mind starts to take simple and down-to-earth stuff as things which are petty and unnecessary which is so problematic. for instance, you might start to look at eating, sex, grooming, daily communication all dumb stuff and your mind starts to split the things into important and trivial things. contemplate on this question: if there wasn't that greatest source would be even trivial and petty stuff down here? the answer is: there is no such petty stuff in this universe. the most important insight here is the art of acing both sides equally and not half-assing here and mastering there. and when you realize this deeply, you would start to see the miracles and creativity in day to day stuff including social interactions, confidence even in tying your shoelace. the point is that this type of person: wants to play tennis next time better than he has done before (if he is a tennis player) he wants to have daily interaction better than before and have lesser insecurities interacting with different folks he wants to date and has sex better than previous relationships he wants to build materials better than previous ones in terms of quality he wants to get the best style and appearance ... this type of person re-grounds his both feet back into the earth and starts to analyze all of his past mistakes and failures and fixes that, he wants only growth doesn't matter which aspect.   13. that's the main point you're missing. I don't mean that meditation won't bring you those or won't bring any benefits. what I mean literally is the expectations that you're having from meditation which ruins the natural path to the peak state or transcendence itself. whenever expectations kick in and gets higher and higher, you get resistance towards your current state in meditation which will subsequently lower your performance quality in meditation. because expectations and resistances ultimately boils down to Ego you will get the significant benefits when you stop thinking about those benefits, understand the paradox here,
  14. logically, you should have high-quality meditation after a robust meditation. and generally having a vivid dream isn't a good indicator of high-quality sleep since I have experienced that by drinking coffee prior to the bed time. and even worse, you could not remember any dreams at all in sleeping but still you'd have no good quality sleep. if you have superficial sleeping, it means that meditation eases the emotional stuff to come to the surface of your mind when you're sleeping which you have suppressed unconsciously during the day.
  15. you made the main point and it goes to show you to be fully independent! simply everything that puts you inside a box, destroy that box! any teaching that you receive is just a guidance for you to take a unique path of your unique "self-knowledge".
  16. you're not doing meditation right, in other words, you "think" that you are meditating and you're not doing it right. because meditation relaxes the mind and eases the mind to fall into sleep. it's a time-tested practice for curing insomnia.
  17. your expectations from meditation itself kills the productivity of the whole session. lower your expectations from meditation, just don't try to predict that if you do this and that, you will reach a state that is such and such. whenever you're doing meditation, the only thing happens there is what is already there and doesn't matter whatever it is and peak state or transcendence are only mental images which produce more thoughts which is not good for the meditation session.
  18. maybe it's another thought, but mixed with something coming from a deeper knowledge. if you have significant awareness, either you won't have a thought at all or you will have thoughts but you won't identify them as "YOURS" simply. the rate of "SEPARATION" of you and thoughts in front of you is the point of our subject, not other stuff.
  19. a true conscious person won't neglect his own day to day stuff either. everything is the habit. make a note of what you are supposed to do on daily basis and do it everyday and put the tick mark beside them or do it with your mobile application.
  20. the second chakra as color is known as an orange chakra and simply seeing orange things might help it but in the short run. but at the end of the day, the ultimate purpose of meditation is to withdraw all of the five senses in order to experience the beyond. nothing powerful than that!
  21. if somebody has significant self-awareness, he could simply do convert the dumpiest communication or conversation to the ideal one. extrovert and introvert are only the limitation of the mind! that's all! the true grown person is at ease playing with both sides of spectrum at the same time. that type of person can be inside with prisoners and still communicate smoothly! the thing is that the lack of high-quality communication comes from the illusion of separation, like one would consider himself superior to other people and the other people not deserve his conversation. (like he would think they are dirty, they are dump and inferior, they are unconscious and so on and so forth) well, here something is more important and that is the personal preferences, one might not prefer such and such people as his friends and perhaps the person might prefer to be lonely for a short period of time and not interact with people in the meantime, but whenever he gets outside of home, he gets back to being highly-communicative again! and don't forget that being great at communication skills and being comfortable with everyone doesn't you mean will also prefer to include creepy people in your social circle!! this is one-of-a-kind answer I doubt you'd find similar one in this thread!
  22. maybe not! having empathy towards something, doesn't mean that you could do it with full attention and personal will. if you love doing it so peruse it, nobody lives in your body except you and you're the closest to that heart.
  23. that's understandable... don't make a personal story for yourself out of the past failures. we're human and we can be rejected and be failed at something so many times, most of humans make mistake and they say I'm a person is rejected in certain things and such and such situations. anytime you make a belief out of that, it will truly happen for you. try to take steps against the belief that you've already operating on, say like developing communication skills that can show your confidence in the interview, I know it can be hard but it's not impossible, gradually you'll see that faulty belief will soon be removed!
