  1. Here is another benefit of sleep yoga. Being conscious during all of your sleep results in a merging of your conscious self and your unconscious, which then probably results in a significant increase of your power to manifest. I explained that in more detail here:
  2. If things don't work out for you. You could still do something like: Working a slave job 2 months a year in a high income country. Living in a hippie community in the Amazon 10 months a year. There you can chill and enjoy simple life and work on your music career or become a qi gong teacher or whatever. Everything online. Shooting vids while in the jungle and then uploading in the next village. Last year I was in Colombia for six months. I spent 3 months living in a beautiful small village and for my small apartment plus food I paid around 150€ a month.
  3. Yes indeed! But for some reason it seems to require a lot of willpower for most people. But it's definitely a more healthy alternative to weed. And the same states can be achieved, you just gotta keep breathing for a while.
  4. @Kksd74628 Yup, especially relative to the perspective/reality of that person. @Nivsch I agree, processing stuff is quite important for development. @Inliytened1 exactly @Spiral Wizard I bought several of his books but I haven't actually read them lol. I really should read his religion of tomorrow book at some point.
  5. I took weed several times last year. It definitely altered my state of consciousness more than what 1 hour of intense shamanic breathing does. But it mainly increased the void dimension and not so much the pure consciousness dimension (explained here). It felt like I'm very close to merging with the void (no more body sensations). I guess I smoked large doses.
  6. Hmm yeah. Though the difference between such a stage blue teacher and my stage coral person would be that the stage coral person's approach includes/has integrated the value of science (orange), empathy (green) and multiperspectivalism (yellow). At some point I'm gonna make a model of human development that includes awakening and post awakening human development in a more nuanced way.
  7. Hmmm yes that's true. I know my view on turquoise is quite different from the mainstream one. But the mainstream one just sounds so boring. But yeah I'm essentially changing spiral dynamics into what I consider a more accurate model of human development. But then I should probably just stop calling it spiral dynamics and call it something else, because it has nothing to do anymore with the original model.
  8. I'm actually quite curious what you guys think about this view on coral.
  9. Fullfilment is a certain state. That state can be caused by detachment from material pleasures. But it can also be caused by attachment to material pleasures. That state can be caused by what you have. It can also be caused by what you do. It can also be caused by what you are. Reality is relative. People and situations are different. What works for one might not work for another. There are no absolutes.
  10. Based on my research so far it seems like it's definitely possible to OBE during all sleep stages. So if you don't like the non-dual void you could just OBE 8 hours straight. It's probably more difficult to OBE during deep sleep, but as a sleep yoga master it should eventually be easy.
  11. @CuriousityIsKey God is unbiased and therefore It creates both good and evil. Suffering is illusionary relative to a high state of consciousness. But suffering is not illusionary relative to a low state of consciousness. In my opinion a perfectly good God would create a reality where everyone's desires are fulfilled. Whatever they want, because relative to each pov, these desires and suffering is real.
  12. Most of the time it is easy not to masturbate right? It's only difficult when you are horny. So make a plan for what to do when you get horny. Like push ups, running outside, cold shower... Just doing this for a few minutes should dissipate most of the horniness. It's up to your discipline to follow through with your plan once you get horny. Or learn how to have non-ejaculatory orgasms. Pretty much all of the negative effects come from ejaculation.
  13. Brainwave Entrainment for Sleep Yoga Brainwave entrainment like binaural beats, isochronic sounds,... Mind Awake To target the "mind awake" component of sleep yoga, beta, gamma and lambda frequencies are good. The best frequency seems to be 40 Hz. There is a correlation between 40Hz and lucid dreaming. And some more interesting stuff about 40Hz, you can do some research if you want. When a sleep yoga session seems to need more "mind awake", then I recommend using a 40Hz brainwave entrainment audio. My favourite is currently "Gamma 40" from the iawake website. It uses several different entrainment methods at once. And sometimes I use 40Hz binaural beats from youtube instead. I don't know whether binaural beats or isochronic tones are better for 40Hz. I'm probably gonna experiment with isochronic tones too. Body Asleep To target the "body asleep" component of sleep yoga, theta, delta and epsilon frequencies are good. Theta is the brainwave you usually have during lucid dreaming, light sleep and astral projection (lucid dreaming and astral projection can also happen during delta). So theta is what we are interested in. Once you are conscious during light sleep and REM, you can use delta or epsilon entrainment to go deeper. Theta is 4-8 Hz. You can listen to an audio that covers all of theta, an audio that starts at 8Hz (or above) and goes down to 4. You can use that, but specifically for a sleep yoga session, I currently feel like only one specific frequency is better. Because then your brain can get really good at that one freqency (the more you listen to a specific frequency, the more effective it becomes, because the brain is trained to produce these specific brainwaves). And If the frequency constantly changes, that means that the "body asleep" and "mind awake" components constantly change a bit too, which might be too confusing or to variable, for a straightforward simple sleep yoga session. An audio that covers the whole theta range (or even alpha too) might however be a good option to listen to during your normal meditations to train yout brain to the whole frequency range. From what I've been reading, 6.3 Hz seems to be the best frequency for astral projection. I therefore assume that it's probably the best frequency for conscious light sleep in general. This guy (in comments) recommends this 6.3 binaural beat audio: Theta is generally probably best, but delta and epsilon can aslo be useful. The benefit of these is that they pull your body towards sleep more strongly. So when your body is not tired enough for higher frequencies, you can use one of these lower frequencies instead. The disadvantage is that when your body does reach the point of falling asleep, it's more difficult to remain conscious than with theta beats. So I'd use these only if you're not very tired or while sitting. I've been using this audio with epsilon binaural beats, the audio also contains subliminals for inducing the void state: (I haven't done deep research into this brainwave entrainment stuff, I'm mostly just sharing my thoughts)
  14. It seems like Kai Shanti is currently doing a live Q&A and transmission on youtube every Tuesday.
  15. John Kreiter has an interesting perspective, in his book "the way of the death defier". It's based on energetic perception and astral projections. John probably has been astral projecting like 8 hours each day for years. But what he says is just one perspective. I think what he says has probably a lot of truth to it. But I think some other perspectives are true too. His way of dealing with the post death experience is not the only way to have an amazing post death experience. (I know of two more alternatives. Both sound a lot more crazy and far out, if someone wants to know more about that you can PM me)
  16. Pretty strong Shaktipat audio from Gareth: Let it play as much as possible. During sleep too.
  17. @Michal__ Thanks for sharing! @Aleister Crowleyy Interesting! I DMed you.
  18. @herghly Yoga nidra is mainly about relaxation, right? I think I practiced with an audio once, but not more because I don't think that increased relaxation skills would help much for me personally. @Michal__ Great! Is it more DEILDs (with Raduga's indirect method) or DILDs?
  19. What is objectively bad about being attached to a body? Some people desire formlessness, others desire physcality, it's all relative. Overcoming suffering by detaching from your desire not to suffer? But what is objectively better with that option vs the option of removing suffering and and achieving your desires? Most people would prefer the latter. And both options are about desires. The first option is the desire to have no desires. So in some sense it's still the same game that is being played. And whether you are even able to overcome suffering with buddhist techniques depends on how intense the suffering is. If you multiply torture by 1000, then not even Buddha could surrender to that and would suffer.
  20. Well, if someone desires torture then that person can have it. I should have written "fighting involuntary suffering" instead of "fighting torture". Of course.
  21. Yes. It's the same as norma sleep, the only difference is that you stay conscious. The body goes into the same sleep stages, and therefore gets the same rest.
  22. Do you mean whether I'm practicing sleep yoga? Of course:)
  23. helping others enlightenment love and relationships sleep yoga, because it allows you to have many hours of OBEs (lucid dreams and astral projections) daily, which allows you to break free from this very limited world and explore the marvels of Infinity
  24. We can't create a loving society with nonduality. For that, compassion is required, which comes from applying love in a relative way. Nondual love is not healthy for human society. Here is why: Fighting torture is evil? Worshipping torture is love? To create a loving society we actually need to do the opposite. Fighting part of "what is" (all the suffering in the world). And worshipping "what is not" (a potential future full of love and happiness for all). It's interesting, the definitions of evil from a practical vs a nondual perspective are basically opposite. @gettoeflI'm not addressing you specifically. What you wrote is just the perfect representation of hardcore nonduality.
