  1. So basically the lesson is, learn to play the game of life like a kid, instead of being a grown up and taking everything serious? If that is the case, I can throw my life purpose in the bin and do fun stuff. Dunno. I don't like anything enough to put hard work into it.
  2. @captainamerica a lot of people recommend him. I will look into that. Me right now: http://mobile.twitter.com/tristehomo/status/1357089152324390914/photo/1
  3. The woman in the first video is a known racist and nobody takes her serious. She is from a small radical political party that learns towards right wing radicalism.
  4. I didn't make absolute predictions. I said China will face problems if it can't create a strong domestic market and be less reliant on exports. If that is unrealistic for you, I'm sorry for you.
  5. Damn, I just missed the chance for some pussy during my walk in the forest.
  6. Having a million dollar mouth piece is something else than portraying value. They are two different skill sets and they should be practised separately. To talk endlessly you basically have to stop judging yourself and learn to express your flow of thoughts into words. Try some association exercises. Talk about a tree for 2 minutes for example. Then jump to another topic and talk about a leaf. And so on..repeat for 20 minutes. I don't know much about portraying value but others have given you good advice on that.
  7. @Vrubel if they can replace exports with a domestic market, they can have a sustainable market, but like all economist say. It is a mission impossible. I don't really get from where you get the idea that China has a self-sustaining economy when a big portion of their income comes from export.
  8. "What is the Truth" video also made me question what learning really is. If there is only absolute truth, which is actual, and not conceptual (which is second order truth), why conceptualize at all? Why should we learn/conceptualize anything?
  9. @Someone here I watched the episode and to answer my own question. One gets nonduality (the absolute truth) when epistemology and metaphysics are merged together. That was the answer I was looking for. What I'm wondering right now is this: Leo talked about the "practical implementations of truth", is there a sequel where he talks about this? I couldn't find it through the search.
  10. China as a system is non-sustainable. It is a patch work of different people with different kind of interests. Until now they sustained themselves due to globalism and human exploitation. Soon other economies will replace China and your national income will decline. That will naturally cause a disruption within China. They failed to create a national market to replace export. In 10 years or something we will see the disintegration of China. I recommend the book "the next 100 years". It explains it very well.
  11. If your intuition is good do it. If you don't trust your intuition and don't have clear intent and self image leave it aside.
  12. China is a monster that will eventually eat itself up. Now the Uighurs are on the menu. After that others will be on the menu. And eventually the leadership itself will be on the menu. Unfortunately though. Soon there won't be any Uygur left. We will only know them from pictures.
  13. @Dancer @Someone here I meditated on that and it was amazing. ?
  14. @Someone here ok. I thought you implied there is no distinction between falsehood and truth, because you said there is only truth.
  15. That is what I was going to ask. Why meditate if one is already enlightened? And if there is no truth versus falsehood, and everything is truth I don't get why we have to contemplate, meditate and so on.
  16. So basically there is the truth and the interpretation of truth in the brain
  17. Aren't there different kinds and degrees of enlightenment?
  18. I already read those.
  19. Multiple approaches is adviced: Start with schematherapy. Then CBT. Gestalttherapy. Then EMDR to finish off.
  20. I read the first part of the book. I still have to finish that one. Those looping models are hard to grasp and memorize but once memorized it can be applied to a lot of things. I hope the remaining part of the book will give me more clarity. Lateral thinking is very good. I will look into my journal for those other book titles.
  21. Last weekend I did some low dose LSD and I started meditating. I got caught in a loop. In the beginning I tried to figure it out but I quickly discovered it was just a loop and there was nothing to solve: strange loop. It was kind of frustrating and I really didn't know what to do. I felt kind of dumb too. I just gave up.
