  1. I have no idea what you mean by that actually, could you please elaborate? Thanks.
  2. I would also encourage the questions: "Where does the desire to condition oneself come from? Is this a choice that my true self would make under a completely unconditioned state?" Regarding the last question, given it could come from prior conditioning - the desire to meet expectations that others (whether our close or non-local (i.e. some perceived teacher) - implicit, explicit, felt, sensed or thought) have put on us, resulting from feelings of inferiority/related. "If I cannot be this.... Then I am this (some negative connotation)", if there's anything like that, I'd encourage a conversation with those identity structures, peel those layers back so that the falseness is seen through.
  3. From my perspective the conditioning will happen automatically as its a natural part of learning hence why it doesn't need to be emphasised, its as simple as when my body thinks of eating certain foods popup into my brain. What I mean by a deconditioning is that when those foods popup into the brain there isn't an attachment there, there isn't a "MUST DO THIS". The conditioning always has this danger to it, there is never one set way to anything, from my perspective that is the path of unconsciousness. The problem with "trying to condition oneself" is its like an act of resistance as opposed to being acceptance with what is, denial creeps in. I've found that the path of deconditioning expands the consciousness as opposed to contracting it in that "trying to condition" state, thus allowing consciousness to be more susceptible to making a more suitable decision. I would differentiate "trying to condition" with "trying to learn", the latter having more sense to it because when you're in a state of trying to learn consciousness is sensitive to its inner experience and so isn't going to try and push through denial, instead it will study and learn from it thus using the path of learning as a portal to enhancing and growing consciousness as opposed to diminishing it in those moments of "trying to condition". The true light of consciousness can never come to bear in a pretend state, of which to me is much more likely conditional to a conditioned state. Pretending is the act of disengaging the process of learning fully and in doing so, not being fully awake. What is your thinking?
  4. @Joseph Maynor I disagree that "you have to recondition yourself", conditioning is where one of the biggest problems lay. It's more a matter of deconditioning oneself and reaching a higher level of mind. As for theorisation, it really only begins after consciousness has cleaned and upgraded itself. There's a strong before and after here with respect to where ones personal biases will lay in that theorisation. Theorisation only becomes a means to an end as opposed to an end in itself, as there's no longer that attachment there. Theorisation is of primary importance merely to the impact of the organism, vice versa, and this is where framing begins relative to realities potentials. It's of primary importance as well that the organism thinks for themselves, otherwise their utility will comparatively shrink, growing dependencies that outweigh the cost of its continued living.
  5. There is only being and non-being. Everything else is theory, theory of which many are convinced by and go out and proselytize. Beware the proselytizers, you will go in with an appetite thinking you're going to get full but it is merely an illusion. The only next step is thinking for yourself, beyond that the rest is for you to decide. That is all I have to share, my relationship with theory has completely changed now that I'm more and more "Buddha" (for lack of a better term). Peace.
  6. Will get to rest when I can! Thanks for sharing appreciated! @Mikael89 That was such a tragic video, it reminds me of the world of suffering that exists in the world. I feel empathy for all the people involved but I felt most for the son, and now the daughter. It would be so tough for the mother to hold it all together, her younger daughter would pickup on subtle changes like this not knowing how to make sense of it until she grows older. @DrewNows It defies the imagination how anyone could not be emotionally moved by that film! So many layers of emotional interpretation there.
  7. There’s no such thing as spirituality. There is only being and non-being. Your solution is to strive for more being.
  8. You cannot be inauthentic if it comes from being. It’s impossible.
  9. Being. And being motivated by being and nothing more (so no need for crazy fantasies, just motivated to do shit for more being). Give me MORE BEING!!!!
  10. So, so much here... I wish you the best man. Best thing I can recommend, oh so many things. Exercise. Weights. Fitness. Cold showers. It'll raise those testosterone levels and potentially make you more ambitious. Again all the best. You're still young, so don't be so hard on yourself. Imagine where you'll be when you're 30 if you're on the same track you are now, picture where you'd like to be and do your best to emotionally resonate with things there.
  11. Just my experience thus far: 99%+ of every thought we've ever had is just a form of (self/external) brainwashing. What everyone is actually trying to do with "trying to become enlightened" if that's even such a thing, is course correct the contents of consciousness, that's literally it, that is, to experience the contents of consciousness without being caught up in those contents. The "inner voice"people have seems likely to just be brainwashing as well. Most of spirituality, believe it or not (of course it would have to be), is simply brainwashing. Most of spirituality is composed of ideas who's focused is generally designed to bring consciousness closer to this state I've described. Based on a technique I've created every day I deepen this described state I've pretty much already achieved. I am only at the beginning of experimentation as well so I presently have no intention of sharing, I just wanted to share my findings thus far so I could point to something that you may already know in the back of your mind.
  12. This has actually really synthesized in a moment in time in which its now led me to really ponder the idea of true love, which is so intriguing for me. The snow fell from the sky, caught in the rain of the melting moments, tried to thunder but the ice did not respond, only hail on the windscreens of minds, trying to find peace in all the questions of why, all leading to a place that forces me to fly, so I can release control and see from above, live in the heavens where all is sacred and made of love. I'm going to contemplate the idea of true love not just from the position of relationships with others but from the position of my relationship with life itself, really re-engage the forces within myself that make up this dance, begin to wrestle with life and the actualisation of potential more; a steady sword held by a war born mind. War here, being symbolic of the true love with life, that fight for the unobtainable, which teaches me humility, levity and grace. Thanks again , yeah its intersected with other moments in my life right now that its just like one of those epiphanies
  13. One of the things I know that really helps me is simply novel experiences. Visit different places, different people. Continuous new experiences for me more likely creates a juxtaposition in my brain that forces me to synthesise the positions in order to arrive at new conclusions and in doing so, new thoughts that break away old patterns.
  14. I edited my comment just above for posterity. And no problem.
  15. I didn't watch the video just read the comments haha! Thanks Natasha appreciated, I agree!
  16. @Aakash I just recommend realising that the worlds a big place and you never know who knows what and what we don’t know, so there’s a case to be made with respect to working to always being epistemically humble. I’m not sure where you’re from but there’s 300 plus million people in the USA, and 641,000 plus people in Las Vegas. That’s a heck of a lot of people in one city, many of which would know many more things than me about many different things, many of which I’d never even heard of. This is why it’s better to stick with sincerely attempting to help people from a humble position that have actually asked for help as opposed to merely assuming that even because you’re helping that you know more than them in the moment that you’ve stopped helping, they may have made several useful connections in the time of that interaction that you never even though of that you otherwise could have learned if you were more open to an exchange on an equal playing field. So if to teach, so I don’t deprive myself of learning, I must simultaneously try and also be a student. It’s a case to case sure, but here it’s a case of all things being equal.
  17. @Kushu2000 Haha if I was administrator I’d just ban all low quality posters and prosletysers. I’m a lot more strict in this sense than Leo though haha. They truly can’t comprehend that they’re just projecting though, this is why after all Leo makes videos in the ways that he does. It’s a form of personal indoctrination, taking the high ground, which is a tough thing to escape if you believe yourself to be acting as a “teacher”. When one is a teacher, especially when they classify themselves as such and haven’t been asked by others, the latter being a more sensible endeavour, they are not being students of life, in this sense they are charlatans. All sense of superiority beyond mere logical deduction is illusory, and this is where all teaching stands when they have not been asked. And yes, I see lots of “teachers” on this forum and not enough simple discussion among human beings where there’s a sincere attempt towards mutual learning.
  18. @Aakash again with the projections, I’m likely nothing like you. Prosletysing is fuelled by the inner projections of the prosletyser, so if there is to be improvement here you’d need to address this by going inside. This explains all forms of brainwashing that others believe to be “coming from a good place”. And how would you know that I’m not enlightened? I doubt you have some definite measure at your disposal. Avoid making assumptions, that is one of the biggest sins to reason. Yes let’s move on, stick to the subject of the thread.
  19. No problem and not sure @Kushu2000, I just hope we can encourage that line of thinking because these prosletysers piss me off because that’s exactly what they subtly do, pretend to be an authority to others and replace their capacity for critical thinking and doubt on the “authorities” proclamations. External authority creates a lot of problems in the world, as to its opposite it would be interesting to see what kind of world would be created with everyone thinking well and for themselves, the next step potentially around the idea of getting good at communicating viewpoints from our reference frames as opposed to what we believe to be absolutes, that’s just how I see it though. Peace out @Aakash you clearly haven’t understood my comments. If you believe you have please quote the exact text I speak of then try to refute it accordingly as opposed to continuing to make mindless statements pointing to nothing designed to merely mislead.
  20. @Aakash Yes I already know this which is why I knew you were likely full of shit. End of discussion. You need to realise that even in your “mystical experience”, which you shouldn’t assume that I haven’t had one, you’re still perceiving x and creating intuitions about it which have a logical structure. You can’t get out if it by simply stating “mystical experience”, it isn’t an argument, in fact it’s the exact opposite given to experience anything you have to be able to perceive patterns in experience and if you’re perceiving patterns in experience what are you also simultaneously doing? Perceiving logic. Perception predicates the capacity for logic, even for a mentally handicapped person. This is the fatal flaw in most persons who try to defeat logic, they don’t fully comprehend that it’s directly opposed to the capacity to experience anything at all. Game set and match. Now let’s just get back on topic then shall we.
  21. @Aakash Well why don’t you prove it by private message? Because the likelihood is that you’re full of shit. Again, likelihood. Not certainty. Let’s remove the money if you want, I’ll share your answers with others and personally “run the risk of being banned” as you put it, thus placing the admins/moderators as a scapegoat so you don’t have to backup what you say. C’mon, show that you’ve got some credibility! You’re the one that decided to challenge me. I’m free for you to believe what you want but if you’re going to challenge me personally make sure you step fully into the boxing ring as opposed to merely halfway. If not, please just fuck off and don’t waste my time (by prosletysing) with your posts.
  22. “what grounds can you give to justify that another person's absolute is actually not the absolute?” It’s not out of the question for me, this is what needs to be understood, I am neither for nor against, I am merely saying that from the structure that I operate from, it is likely false. Differentiate. You need to remove the assumption that just because I use logic as my tool for discourse that I do not have a quiet mind or that I always use logic. I am simply saying that anything I come to conclude which isn’t logical isn’t likely to be true relative to the structures that I’ve thus far created. You must understand that you cannot fathom what I find to be logical and what I find not to be logical, it is all down to someone’s reference frame or perhaps more specifically, someone’s contemplative reference frame. It is therefore an illusion that you see my blind spots, this is the projection. Please make one claim right now that you believe in which isn’t logical and I will tell you how you can invent a logical structure to make it logical or rather, that said claim is either likely false or outside my reference frame of what is logical. Either way, logic has not at all been refuted by Leo here, that is merely an assumption because he hasn’t broadened his scope of logic. The position has all mad cats thrown by crazy ladies killed so I’m pretty confident (but not certain) here. I will personally give you $10,000 if you can disprove logic. But, if you cannot do so, you have to give ME $10,000 and never post on this forum again. I will however continue to post because obviously I’ll need all the help I can get to rid myself of logic! It would be well worth the money because then I’d have a better perspective by which to glean reality. If you choose to accept one fascinating thing I’m wondering now is how you’re going to justify any position whatsoever without logic, that’ll be interesting.
  23. @Aakash see this is what I’m talking about, one moment you believe yourself to have reached your posting limit and BAM here you are posting! Like I said, certainties create mischief. Yes please cite my conviction, I’m sure you’ll likely find with enough introspection that said conviction is purely relative to the premise of non conviction in the face of absolutes however having degrees of conviction relative to what one can ascertain, of which is a logical thing to do. Read prior comments to gain perspective on what I’ve stated prior to jumping to conclusions as I have with your own. Notice how I’ve only so far addressed your claims pertaining to certainty and nothing else? It seems you are offended, for someone who believes themselves to be God how is such a possibility? To me it seems to be an interesting irony but shows the mischief at work in people holding certainties. I wish for you to believe whatever you wish about me, the only arguments I take seriously against my own are those that have logical credence, of which you’ve demonstrated non thus far. As I’ve stated to others, feel free to think I’m a spam bot, a deluded whisky dealer, a demon from outer space, a keyboard warrior, a prophet. I have no interest in seriously addressing conclusions that don’t meet my standard, so feel free. But oh yes! Irony is a funny thing Mr. God who feels the need to parrot!
  24. See this is what I’m talking about! Good stuff! People should learn to follow your lead by prosletyzing in threads they create as opposed to doing so in other people’s threads! I’m sure you’ll find it easy to gather where I may stand with respect to your position, we as humans cannot know anything is 100%. My last citable comment addresses the very question of certainty; intellectual arrogance and the place where mischief gets to hide. This does not mean “truth assessments” do not have value, this is where I would put your own words, they have value in mere degrees, not absolutes. It is not absolutely true to me that someone will only perceive what you’ve stated in merely one of a few ways, this only creates the illusion of certainty, a blockage to creativity and potential insight from the world of the unknown, of which of course, can shock you in an instant without you being ready for it!
