I don’t think this kind of contemplation works unless you’re already at a high level of consciousness so your mind doesn’t just wander. You have to have disciplined focus 🧘

I’ve worked with traditional Hatha Kundalini yoga for years, Zen meditation, Self Inquiry schools, psychedelics, studied the top spiritual texts And I’ve been doing this for 7 years without break Basically any major spiritual practice or school I have explored or studied. I actually have a spiritual school basically an ashram of which I’ve completeled 10 silent retreats and almost all of the yoga modules which take 3 weeks each. I don’t even have a job because all my time goes towards consciousness work. And I have to say, setting a timer for 3/4 hours in solitude and allowing the mind to wander and contemplate God with no distraction is the most powerful tool for consciousness work I’ve found. But, different things work better for different people

Sitting in true silence with no distraction and keeping the mind focused on a theme to contemplate is probably the most powerful practice that exists. the problem is most people don’t even allow themselves 5, literally 5 minutes of this before pulling out there phone or turning on the tv

According to Ken Wilber the highest stage of evolution possible today is Supermind. UV light on spiral dynamics and constant state of non dual awareness. Please only respond if you know Wilber’s work, because many people will just state that random mystics are at Supermind. You don’t understand what Supermind is. Does anyone who understands this know of an example of any humans at this level? Does Wilber ever reveal this? id assume it’s less than 10,000 people in total alive at this level

Hi guys id love to hear your thoughts on this. I’ve been systematically finishing every book on the reading list and just got to Ken Wilber’s tomb “Religion of Tomorrow” For the most part, it makes sense, but he seems kinda all over the place, he brings in concepts that he hasn’t really defined or explained, and I find a low amount examples and real life references. For example, he talks about the subtle state and casual state but doesn’t define how this shows up in waking reality. The examples are very few, “you see beings of light” So I don’t understand how someone creates their center of gravity at Integral- Casual for example and what that actually looks and feels like. I don’t think it’s an issue of my ability to read and understand. I graduated from a top university. I’ve read Ralston and have no problems with the other books on the list. Is this just me or does anyone else run into this issue with Wilber’s work?

I enjoy reading books on development and spirituality just because I find it fascinating for its own sake (maybe how you see LOTR) All these traditions and humans sharing wisdom and lineage, for me this is as juicy as it gets. I also like the process of things slowly evolving and coming together, it’s like having slow sex, rather than blasting myself with a chemical, the chemical blast is slowly coming to me and I can savor every drop of the experience. While you guys, no offense, seem spiritually burn out or bitter about something after doing these drugs, Leo included -

These kinds of posts make me so glad to be following the traditional, time tested, paths of yoga, meditation, study and contemplation. 5 MEO sounds like a real mother fucker to be honest -
Thanks for all the input guys Its starting to come together nicely now. As he re-runs the trail upward he comes back to topics over and over and it’s actually really helpful. Stuff that was confusing before makes more sense. That said it’s not hammock reading, I need to really focus and read slowly. Lots of interconnections happening. I think Ken himself is extremely developed and awake

For this I’ve ever grateful. I just feel that Ralston, Hawkins, and others are easier to read. Like it flows better. With Wilber it just seems bumpy and very ungrounded/practical in actual reality.

I don’t know if it’s maturity though, I have no problem reading other high level, complex books. But that’s possible, I’m open to it. This is my first book by him and it’s very recent so maybe there is that issue of foundation with his work. I’ll keep going and read his other stuff, I’m sure at some point it’ll all tie together

I’m actually just now going super deep into all the spiral dynamics, Susanne Cook and Integral Theory Its fascinating but i still see its limitation. You can’t just simply box people like that, it’s way too complex -
Same. Semen retention is extremely powerful

Yeah man the shit is toxic as fuck

Fine. Maybe the overall development in a country is lower than another. However you’re basing your opinion on a model. Have you ever actually been to Latin America and had conversations with these people. I’d bet you’d be impressed and probably fall in love and never date an American girl again 😂 Id argue that you can just as easily get “tricked” by dating (or marrying) a Western girl who ends up being less developed than she lead on. Or having some serious neurosis. Also, development isn’t a stagnant thing you can become more developed, stop developing or even regress. The one thing I find more easy about being with Latin Women is they are simply much less Nuerotic it’s so much easier for them to just enjoy life and be chill but whatever, I know my truth I know what I’ve seen and experienced and I stand by my truth. It’s not about getting my dick wet, although that’s a great perk
-
People have turned this development shit into such a stupid dogma. They don’t even see humanity. Fuck spiral dynamics and this stupid boxing in of people into your models and frameworks based on your assessment of their country. Leo has no idea I doubt he’s even been to Latin America and experienced it for himself. It’s just judgment and projection based on shit he reads online

Brazilian women in particular are just mind blowing in their femininity, authenticity and sexuality. I’m going back in May
-
Damn Leo Really disappointed by this comment. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about and just projecting. As someone who has traveled the world and dated women from all over I can confidently say Latin Women, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, is a much more fun warm and heart felt experience. They are much more confident, sexual, and enjoyable to be around. It has nothing to do with “development” how open is her heart? there is deep wisdom in these cultures that I would argue are more happy and wise than the “developed west” women in the west can’t seem to be satisfied with a relationship for over 2-3 months and it’s only getting worse

Find a proper school for rising the energy in the system and you will be amazed. It becomes like a clean low dose psychedelic trip 24/7 -

This is just silly, stop acting like you’re so enlightened that you see no difference between love and bliss and pain and depression -
What a shitty response

Aho. Couldn’t agree more. That book list is pure gold. I find that people want the best resources but we actually have them! -
When I’m a state of God Realization it becomes apparent that all of this is your consciousness. I’m curious as to why, no matter how conscious we become, we are limited to only being able to manipulate from within our bodies and minds. Any thoughts

I’m considering doing the apprenticeship program with Ralston. My only hold back is that he doesn’t seem to teach anything about Love, and the school itself is lacking in that “energy.” Its also extremely powerful and I’ve done many retreats there. any thoughts?
