Love how you put this with the example of real world materials. I feel like when you lie and manipulate you crack your own internal character and this changes your self concept. To me this is a much more costly thing than a hit of pleasure or a “goody” I had the opportunity the other day to save some money because the waiter forgot to put my drink on the bill, but I pointed out their mistake and paid that money so I could hold my head high knowing I’m not a scummy fuck. I also was having a great night out the other night and wanted to surpass my 3 drink rule with myself and instead of breaking the word with myself for some more fun or potential sex I went home. Just some simple examples but they stack up. Nothing like a clear conscious. It’s also not about perfection , but being a solid trustable character with integrity

@pablo_aka_god Thanks, man honestly it took so many rejections, awkward moments, flakiness but all of that was worth the lovers or girlfriends that came of it. I’m glad I pushed through but these days I don’t put much energy into it because it does take time, energy, etc. But if you want a girlfriend it’s a great way to go about it- much better than online dating apps. No girlfriend right now, I travel a lot so it’s tough to maintain something solid/consistent which is fine for me now. Have you done many approaches?

Congrats, that’s no small feat. I also think because of your family situation you had extra drive and motivation to make money. Have other aspects of your life suffered from this pursuit of money? Like meditation, dating, rest, adventure, creativity? I would imagine working 12-14h a day you don’t have much time for other areas of life. Have you developed in areas outside of making money? Now that you have financial independence will you continue to pursue money or balance it out? Im curious because similar to you I was making stacks in my early 20s and it was fun but after a certain point it was kinda boring and more money didn’t really equal more satisfaction or happiness. I was able to retire (humbly) at 28 and now my days are spent reading, meditating, pursuing God, making love, traveling. I feel like money is really important if you don’t have it, but then once you get enough it’s a tool to actually just do what you want

Thats a great explanation and so true. It’s like the guys doing this are only accounting for the most attractive women thus being the ultimate hypocrites and doing exactly what they are complaining about.
