  1. Hi Guys, I've started a YT channel and would like to put time into studying the best practices to grow it. I really just want to make it high quality and powerful. Does anyone know any good resources specifically for YouTube? Books, podcasts, channels, etc. I don't want to sell out and do a bunch of cringe, click-bait, cheesy shit. But i want to know what works in a high quality way. Cheers
  2. So my best friend from college is getting married and I was invited to the wedding. I have many great memories with this guy, and we were like pb & j during our college days, we even lived together for 3 years. That was about 10 years ago. I'm noticing i'm a bit anxious or nervous about going to the wedding, it may sound selfish but I don't want to disrupt the flow of my meditative lifestyle and i notice that even when i am meditating my mind is worrying about this wedding and having to show up as the new version of myself. The thing is I have changed a lot since then and those people are associated with a darker period of my life. At the same time, I love this guy, and we had a deep friendship, we barely speak now, but it's still all love, we just have very different lives. I'm also going to be in Mexico the next 3 months for a Yoga Teacher Training and I'm unsure if it will be during that time, if it is, it would be a huge hassle and disruption of flow to try and attend mid-training. Any advice? Thanks
  3. I've heard that's a good one, watched some videos on it but haven't gone deep yet. Thank you for helpful feedback with actual substance. Have you find it to be powerful?
  4. @NoSelfSelf @Princess Arabia Feels like a pretty judgmental and superior attitude you're both taking. I'm sure everything just flows perfectly in your practices and you never hit a patch of resistance. I think starting any practice from scratch, even meditation, has it's points of resistance. When I started meditating, it was difficult, now it's the best part of my day. So maybe chill out a bit and provide input that is actually valuable rather than just criticism, baseless assumptions, insulting me and pumping up your own egos. It's clearly something I want to do and am interested in, just having difficulty with, hence why I am asking if anyone has tips or ways it works best for them. Maybe this is the wrong place to be vulnerable and ask for help.
  5. Yeah, but i'm so bad at doing this. It's like the biggest thing i avoid, journaling and shadow work
  6. This is why i stay away from psychedelics. I don't think are a viable path for the long term. Maybe once or twice a year, but i find everyday waking reality more fulfilling and enjoyable and psychedelics always throw me off course
  7. Sure, call it a realization then, you're realizing what is already the case on deeper and deeper levels. Then you go back to monkey mind, then have an opening of what's already the case and on and on
  8. Fuck the haters or what people say, Ken Wilber is a beast and IMO he's the GOAT
  9. I’ve had plenty of awakenings without psychedelics and they are much more clean and stable. They are more grounded in reality, rather than overwhelming and dream like. True awakening is extremely subtle
  10. Totally agree brother. I don’t think the quote is necessarily denying that certain places have stronger energy, more nourishment and flow. I know what you mean. I’m going to the mountains for a 10 day retreat in a week and the amount of stillness I feel there is hard to get in a city. I think the one thing that does stay however, no matter the location is the expansive feeling of being in infinity and everything I’m experiencing unfolding and existing within “Me” There is a temptation to just live off grid and meditate though. Super blissful
  11. Spotify has a ton of audiobooks out. I would go ham on those. Great opportunity.
  12. Also, if it helps at all, the mountain top God is the same as the city God. The Truth (as i'm sure you know) is that it is already True, its already the case. Full Enlightenment and Non Dual realization is the case whether your in a temple in Japan or a strip club in Houston. With that mentality you can remove the dogma of needing to become an aestetic and just constantly work on your consciousness at all times. If you need to do a retreat for a bit to really focus, you do that. If you want to deepen your practice in a city and see if you can your self-awareness, go party in Rio. It's a win win. "How many times must you go to the mountain before you no longer need to go the mountains" -Zen Proverb
  13. I think it's vital to INTEGRATE those mountain times into the city. That's probaly the best path. I usually do retreats then go straight to a crazy busy city like Rio to talk to girls and socialize. It's fucking perfect.
  14. I think it's better to be in solitude and fulfilled than try to fit in somewhere you feel alienated
  15. Not if you see it as God manifest. Yes, people may only be able to go to a "certain" level with you, but that is still fully 100% God (you) and there is no such thing as shallowness. That duality can dissolve (shallow people vs deep people)
  16. Totally man. I've found that it is healthy to balance it out. Your mind is right in that and even in some Indian traditions, your younger years are for worldly things and pursuing enlightenment while being "in the market". It is only when you are really older like 60-70 you can drop off completely. I want to merge God Realization with this human experience and enjoy it as much as possible. I basically live like that. I spend 8 hours per day meditating and contemplating but i still hang out with people, go to bars, cafes, parks, shoot youtube videos, etc to still be involved in the world. That bliss and depth will always be there for you. Enjoy manifestation while pursuing Enlightenment, it only gets more fun. Try to master the manifest world (women, career, health, discipline, study, life purpose) That said, I do think it's important to have time (for me it's usually 3 months) of pure contemplation, solitude, and cosnciousness work.
  17. Couldn't agree more. I'm done with this Goose Chase. Ultimately, it's one of the few things I disagree with Leo about. I think he's simply wrong. Along with thinking consciousness is limited to genetics and can't be developed.
  18. This is a great question that i used to get hung up as well. Think of it like this, the present is suspended in infinity. So it's always only Now, it's always only Infinity. Things are moving, there is moving in Infinity, there is motion. So if you bite your hand that only happened in the Now but after some moments all you have left is the memory of it, but it still happened in the Now, hence the bite marks. Likewise, you will be on your death bed in this exact moment. You may have a future concept of being on your death bed, but when you are on your death bed, it will be this exact moment, except things will have moved around and now your old and on death bed. Does that make sense?
  19. Hahah, the Dream is so consistent that no one thinks it's a dream. Even the slightest glitch and they're losing it
  20. That sounds badass, never heard of that before, super creative
  21. My God! That's wild! Can we see it??
  22. Thanks. I don't care too much about income or money, but I'd like it to be sustainable (2-3K/mo). I want to keep high integrity, and help mostly young men navigate these psychotic times and create a holistic lifestyle that integrates spirituality. Also, direct one on one coaching could be in the cards in the future. The reason is that this was my most challenging and confusing time of my life and if it wasn't for my mentors (including you) it would have been much more difficult and painful. I'm wrapping up the LP course right now and the high consciousness value I came to was "Peace" so ultimately the goal is just help people suffer less.
  23. What would you suggest for someone beginning YouTube who wants to make high quality, in depth content and basic, honest, forward thumbnails, while competing against hyper-edited and popping in your face thumbnails? Just stick to my authentic style?
