  1. A spiritual pioneer who utilizes various method, such as meditation, contemplation, visualizations, psychedelics, etc, to attain wisdom/ awakening. Often using this spiritual wisdom to guide people threw their own spiritual quests.
  2. @Shaun From the perspective you are mentioning right now, suicide is pointless, if one has infinite lives then why not make the best of all of them one by one? You couldn't possibly know the future, you can only visualize the most wonderful possible future and build it. All these things you mention come from love, this might sound sick but if someone rapes someone they did it out of love of sex, or pleasure, etc. They love in a very low consciousness way. What is making one fear love?
  3. Yeah it is awesome isn't it! Everything is always in synchronicity, its all about what level of consciousness you are at to be able to see it, and when you can see it all your wishes manifest.
  4. This was the second book I read that fueled me up for the start of my spiritual journey, I found it in a library well I was looking for philosophy books, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
  5. @Nahm @Shaun So then the question becomes, "How does this being want to express its love right now?"
  6. Everything is spiritual! One of the cores of spirituality is love, so if music is an expression of your love (Which it is!) then it is 100% spiritual to spend a lot of your time creating music. Creation in itself is always some kind of expression of love, so then, everything one creates is spiritual. The deeper you go into spirituality the more one realizes all this being wants to do is create expressions of its love.
  7. @ds300 Talk to yourself, become fascinated by everything you do, no matter what it is. Find out what you love, why you love it, how you love it. Then feel into the strong feelings, feel them for what they are, and turn them around onto yourself. You can do that, all one has to do is simply make a conscious effort to do so.
  8. @Shaun Consciousness is fundamental, consciousness cannot end it is infinite. Consciousness is what you really are, sure you the ego can end, but if you do it that way you would never get to spread the love that is deep inside you.
  9. @Rilles Paradoxically this is also true, there are so many layers/ levels, all depends on where you are looking from.
  10. Yes, threw first realizing that you are actually just pure consciousness, then threw psychoanalysis you can chop threw the jungle of beliefs/ ideas about who 'I' am, eventually you can gain the ability to literally change your personality at will, but this takes a lot of work A LOT, don't pussy around with this stuff. Fear wouldn't be fear if the ego didn't fear it, so jump in the mess, feel your way threw. Cultivating love towards oneself is critical as well, love will melt threw all fear and self hatred.
  11. I would really suggest keeping a journal, set some time aside in your day to just write about all your worries and fantasies. Constantly telling yourself I am not my thoughts can snowball into disconnection from them. Also realize that every time you try to stop your thoughts another thought arises, surrender to this, one cannot stop thoughts one can only observe them, don't judge them in any way this creates more thoughts, accept them for what they are and watch them drift away like bubbles underwater.
  12. Lost in spiritual concepts and beliefs, one is missing a connection to absolute love. Go deep, find the love and bring it to yourself. Bring it to the resistance of bringing it to yourself, and the resistance to that, and so on. Find the love feeling. All who love you will more then likely suffer if you commit suicide, and there really is no point to suicide, dead, living, no difference.
  13. @bejapuskas Exactly!
  14. @Maarten But ones true character is actually just pure consciousness, so then part of the game is doing whatever one wants with this body & mind. Hating yourself is a very sticky situation, threw hate more hate, threw love the gates of infinite possibilities open up.
  15. @ds300 No, well improving ones self-esteem will 100% help you with this issue, what I am saying is much higher then that. Literally be in a committed romantic relationship to yourself, talk to yourself like you would a lover, observe yourself find out everything you love, do things for yourself out of love for yourself. You know that love feeling you feel towards whoever/ whatever you love most right now? Turn that back onto yourself, right now.
  16. Commit right now to being in a loving intimate relationship to yourself! Only threw loving the self fully can you love other fully. Talk to yourself like you are your own lover, look at it like this, if you wanna practice being in a romantic relationship who better to practice it with then with yourself?
  17. Building an environmental retreat which was started by my aunt before she died of cancer. I have much left to learn so I am basically spending all my time reading, and meditating. We hope to have a permaculture style farm eventually, but that is probably not gonna happen for awhile. I also have plans of getting some kind of psychotherapy degree, I really love helping people get threw there deep emotional baggage.
  18. Many many people go threw this, I certainly did earlier on in my life. You are not a creepy jerk, one is simply stuck hiding in ones shell. One must ease themselves out of their shell slowly, meditation will help one connect back to the real you, pure consciousness, which cannot be harmed in any way. Contemplate about how you can bring more consciousness to your social interactions, and practice having conversations with yourself. Talking to yourself can be a very healthy thing to do when done consciously.
  19. That is a great idea! I would use your app whenever I decide to go back into the dating scene.
  20. @Amy Irene I would have given practical practices, but I want to support the author of the book and Leo's book list. The initials of the author I am referring to is 'TS'. Also you will learn much more from reading the books then just doing the practices, if you just do the practices you could end up going way off in the wrong direction. Its important to be aware of all the traps one might fall into.
  21. If one wants to change ones neurotic behaviors psychoanalysis is the perfect tool for that. Contemplate about ones neurotic behaviors, look at them from every possible angle. Be in a committed relationship to oneself, that is, understand everything about yourself, what, why, how, you do everything that is you.
  22. I find making a web of every topic that you are learning about and categorizing all of it helps and contemplation, especially right after you finished learning a topic/ reading a book. Meditation helps clear the mind to obtain new information as well.
  23. At the core of Chakra work is love and consciousness, we must practice unconditional love and cultivate a connection to our pure essence. To open them we must feel into them, shine our love onto them. Constantly remain aware of your Chakras as you go threw life, be mindful of what you feel in each Chakra, and talk to them ask them where they need more love, and give that love to them. Leo has a great book on his book list on the subject, I would certainly recommended it.
