Why there are so much security restrictions? Because of suicide bombers came out from there for 5 years in early 2000s in an Intifada that started right after Camp David negotiations, after a decade that was full of negotiations and even some signed agreements. It is worth to see the other half of the equation as well sometimes.

Yes there is some red to our society if going to the edge of the scale, sad and unfortunate but only a small minority of people capable to such actions by themselves, but it is true to any other western as well society, with many other kinds of crimes in any field of life.

Green is still in war with himself in some significant aspects, and it is being reflected outwards.
-
This was because of replacement of people in charge, but it is possible that some people found out they were wrong but some others will polarize more. Depend on the person.

@Karmadhi Because the far right isn't Orange.

Nobody can make anybody to evolve even not through instructions. This is a personal self customized process only you can know what it will be.

I do believe in progress but what are the benchmarks for progress? 🏳️🌈🎸More freedom to the individual from close circles or far circles oppression? 🍏More physical health? 🎑More mental health? Ok. Then the answer is quite complex. Freedom to the average individual has improved dramatically during last centuries, decades and keep improving today. Physical health diverges to two: Life saving abilities - improved dramatically. Health as a long term condition - deteriorated during last decades. Mental health: More freedom to express and be oneself helps mental health ➕️ Too much freedom and too little obligation to surroundings, along with too good conditions and too little self caring harm mental health ➖️ Moving away from nature and living in the big cities - mostly harm mental health to my opinion ➖️ Psychiatric drugs help short term but harm mentally long term many people + crazy dependency and withdrawal. Still help others but yet suppress for them deeper solutions and come with side effects. A net harm i think ➖️ Pharmacuetical drugs to physical conditions - help blurring the symptoms but preserve the problem and block independent thinking - net help to some but net harm to others 🟡 Social media - net harm ➖️ In sum, mental health has declined in the last decades. To sum everything, don't know if last decades are a net progress but last centuries most certainly are. Feel free to add more parameters, this is what come to my head right now.

I wish the veganism wave or "revolution" I felt in 2013, when I became myself vegan for ethical reasons, will be back. Their worldview is great and has a lot of truth to it and the animal industry has to eventually diminish completely. An alternative can be a natural farming in which the animals will live 99.9% freely but the problem of killing them at the end still exists, though at least they live respectfully. Not that I agree with that way (because the killing still exist) but it will be an improvement. Today though I am like 90% Vegan because I needed to do many changes in my nutrition to eat what makes me feel better, including moving to raw green legumes instead of the regular ones and eating more fruits, vegetables, nuts seeds and a bit marine food. Vegnism in the "naive" way can do problems and has to be adjusted individually.

Iran's regime is a way bigger problem to Israel than right wing palestinians. hamas is only one of its proxies.
-
A "tiny and smart military" conception most security seniors were under it in the last decade when relying too much on technologic defenses.
-
-
Actually just after Oslo agreement was signed in 1994, an unprecedented series of terror suicide attacks within Israel has started. hamas (and the more right wing sectors within Palestinians) don't want compromises, they want 1947 back.
-
But Egypt and Jordan are Blue (maybe even some orange already in cog) countries. Emirates are Blue-Orange. Close enough to reach understandings. Palestinians are Blue minus at most I want to be fair to the most innocent civilians but their regimes and their supporters are very red and this is quite far from Israel. Red does not want neither peace nor order. His life meaning is idealistic imperialistic if to put it that way. Edit: Yes compatible to what you said at the end.
-
Why Palestinians are always under someone else's occupation? Before they were under Jordan (still today!), Egypt and Ottoman. Why didn't they succeed to have sovereignty? Isn't the responsibility to their situation is on them at least half way?
-
Is peace between Orange (center of gravity) and red-Blue society possible just out of best intentions and actions (say settlements are stopped forever), Or that the differences in spiral stages will prevent peace no matter what?

I feel this question is suitable to this forum because of the inner struggle I have with this issue and how it challenges me emotionally. I will try to explain in head lines chronologically and then the question. Two months ago I found out through a third person that my teacher from 1-3th grades (28 years ago...) goes to the same barber I go to since childhood. This is not just a regular teacher but she was like our educator who was with us for five hours every day for 3 years in very young ages of 7-9 years old. In initial grades the teacher is as many of you know can be very significant. She has talked to me in those years about my social difficultied and insecures I had back then and her presence in my childhood life had imprinted very strongly on my mind till today. At the moment my barber realized she was my teacher, she imediately called her when I was there (in hair routine) but I was so scared at the moment so I instinctively took my hand to her phone which was on the table and cutted off the calling before she could answer. I explained to her that I am sorry but I was scared to do this spontaneous talk and she immediately understood me "You are excited. I understand". So instead, I asked her number and then when in home I chatted with here (the teacher) and we decided we will do a meeting in one of the next times she is in the town to a hair routine again and that will notice me then. The thing is that its been 2 months since then, and today I was in the barber again and found out she was there again but didn't noticed me. What bothered me is that this time, the barber said "Why do you want to meet with her? To consult with her?" She didn't forget the basics but was just dettached emotionally. I was shocked because what isn't clear here? The previous time you understood my excitement right away, but today you reacted like this is a super marginal thing. My two questions: 1. How would you, from your life experience, explain her reaction? I started to think about some more deep explanation that people can remember things and understand them logically, but their emotions about the things are always changes and she has not encoded the situation in her mind as I did. Or that her emotional state today was though in a good mood, different. 2. More importantly, the teacher, how and when I remind her my desire to meet with her? I strongly don't want to push it, but want the meeting will come organically when both sides will be free for. If I push it too much I feel this will be "fake" and not a genuine nostalgic meeting. Also I am afraid she will say she doesn't want to, because what happened today has reduced my confidence. I think to wait until september/October to see if she messages me and if not only then to write a (friendly) reminder. I am interested to hear what are your thoughts and insights about that from your experience with people, and maybe even if you had quite identical or very similar situation.

@Evelyna I had an idea that I can display the second message as an update one that I moved to another city (what I will do probably soon) so it will be easier for me to come half way to you, and I wonder maybe if the message is in this vibe it won't be weird I am wondering, don't know the answer accurately.
-
@Evelyna Aren't you a little harsh here? I will explain, 1. Because it will be only the second message ever to her and after months. And 2. because she asked about what I do today when we chatted and said she was happy to hear from me and that we will may meet in one of the next times. Again its not like we are strangers because 28 years ago she was with me five hours a day, six times a week for three years.

I disagree. If the far right wing of Israel wants all Palestinians out only out of an Ideology, then so too hamas can want all Israelis out, just out of an ideology without needed any help from anyone to cause him to want that.
-
This is a quite tricky situation and somehow rare and unique and that exactly what preserves it. This is indeed a group who in some senses dominates another minority group, but at the exact same time they are themselves dominat-ed by their surroundings when force on them to ever be in alertness and chronically in some fight&flight urges as a minority in an ocean of surrounding hostile countries capable to threat them seriously, what makes every micro action of Israeli's as a majority necessarily entangeled in their position as a minority in the macro scale and affected hardly by it.
-
Right 🙏 I try now to stop the triggering snowball by, as much as I can, not to pass it back to the second side and answer in a non-triggering way. Honestly I think I was ok with that even before but I want to improve it, and help the discussion to be more healthy and truth oriented.
