  1. 2:20 What do you think about this form of meditation? I've tried it out for an hour a day for a couple months and it really helped clear my mind.
  2. Yeah, I commute on the same train that also goes to Heathrow Airport, so there are almost definitely a few people in the UK that have it.
  3. What types? I eat large amounts of salad everyday. I'll take extra vitamins.
  4. Hi, Long story short, I started learning pickup at 19 because I was lonely and wanted a girlfriend, had low self esteem etc. (you know the story) At 25 I now have relatively healthy self esteem, I like the way I look and am having consistantly positive interactions with women. I still live with my parents and am wondering how to close, noticing when to close and what location. Ashwell as whether I should aim for monogamy after or to keep chasing tail.
  5. My theory, Changing your beliefs can lead you into possible survival threatening situations, you generally want to avoid ruin so you keep the beliefs that have maintained your survival and reproduction so far.
  6. @Name Read this https://www.amazon.com/Your-Brain-Porn-Pornography-Addiction-ebook/dp/B00N2AH8NW, It will help you develop ideas of what porn is doing to your brain. There are benefits of not watching porn as well such as having a higher self respect. You can substitute it for something healthier, I need to stop wasting my time listening to music so I decided that expressing myself emotionally in a social setting will be a good substitute. Fundamentally, you can stop. How you do it is up to you.
  7. @Meetjoeblack @Identity @Zega Thanks for these, I'm currently writing a plan to move forward and I will keep these in mind.
  8. I'm not sure if anyone will read this but any advice is welcome. I'm 25 and currently working an entry level SEO Assistant role at a well known brand, the last few years have been dedicated to personal development/learning, health and pickup. I picked up SEO because its something I could do that I dont mind doing. I am wondering where I can move my career going forward so that I am earning more money, whilst being qualified to do the job and the steps to get there. Examples I have already thought off: SEO Analyst, Project/Product manager etc. Thanks (I am also making a post on pickup in the other category to explain my situation there)
  9. There are some aspects of Feminism that were expressed to me recently that make a lot of sense. Sexism is like racism in the modern day, it is carried through from historical oppression and you won't see it till the nuances of it's impacts until they are explained to you and you start to see it conceptually.
  10. @Chumbimba You might be high in openness. I have a similar experience in my own live where all I want is excitement, creativity and fun and find it difficult to sit still, my mind is constantly on tangents.
  11. @Etherial Cat I would change it to another term if I could. I also would like to add that there are plenty of women that have been attracted to me in the past and were visibly upset that I didn't lead for the close. Men are generally the ones that are meant to take initiative, not always, but a lot of the time.
  12. Hi, Thanks for the helpful replies. Firstly, I don't think most people need to learn 'pickup' and it's probably for them to find a romantic partner socially. My brother found a deep and supporting intimate relationship this way. I decided to take the trial and error method from pickup as a way to systematically desensitise my way into becoming good with women. Furthermore, I detest RSD because they are willing to sacrifice the self esteem of their viewers and seem to be in it for money nowadays. After re-watching some of their old videos I critically analysed their content and found it to be logically and epistemological incorrect. The members were also extremely racist in the past which I feel strongly about. My childhood contained a lot of verbal abuse and through pickup I gained validation and positive reference experiences that have helped me move forward with my life and feel optimistic that I will find someone in the future that I would be attracted to. The failures taught me how not to behave. Nowadays I can converse openly with women that I meet and have a better understanding of social cues. Learning to close is important, after you learn the behavioural fundamentals that you failed to learn developmentally you can add your honest and authentic personality around that. Thanks
  13. How does that work? I'm pretty sure that that won't automatically happen to someone who committed an action.
  14. @Zega When I was in high school I was the attention seeking class clown, and I was quite funny. Later at 21 I did stand up on stage and did very well at it, this was after taking an 8 stand up comedy class where I got to perform in front of the class at the end of each session and show them my material. I went to an RSD Hotseat before my standup which helped. Nowadays I work 8 hour days in a politically correct office and find it difficult to express my humour to my colleagues because they might be offended by it. I go home, exercise, meditate and do pickup on the weekends. I get exited when I see my creativity emerge occasionally during manic periods at work sometimes. Ideally, I'd be looking for a place to express my personality through creativity or art, stand-up isn't my priority.
  15. @Leo Gura This is the answer I was looking for. Thanks.
  16. @Spiral Either, Closing on a cold approach.
  17. Women are attracted to nice guys, just not overly nice guys who suppress their own opinions and are fake.
  18. @Leo Gura This rule can be broken though, I've talked about science/philosophy to a 19 year old hottie for 10 mins till she reached sexual hook point.
  19. I dislike the term Incel, it's loaded with negativity. Many people who are in that group really just have mental health and self esteem issues to deal with and society shouldn't box them in and make them outsiders. When I'm struggling with women I go straight for the solutions, I never wanna be sucked into that black hole which is why I don't touch that forum.
  20. @Leo Gura Hey Leo, Do you have a list of inner game beliefs that you had when you went into the field doing pickup that you rewired your brain with? I know that it takes a huge change in mindset to approach girls and become more comfortable with yourself doing so. Thanks
  21. @Leo Gura I heard you previously mention that depersonalization disorder could be overcome? Do you have any sources or advice for someone with it?
  22. @Leo Gura Owen's ego has grown with his beard. I still like Jeffy, I bought him a beer when he was in London haha Derek is interesting. I strongly dislike Julien lol As an Asperger's case I came into the community to get a girlfriend so I found Tyler relatable but not nowadays
  23. @JohnnyBravo @Leo Gura @Carlos A lot of the new RSD content is quite negative and can make you feel quite bad if you don't have your life in order. Which no one does. I've taken the trial and error method of learning the social skills with women from RSD and left them with the anti self esteem marketing stuff they are now trying to push.
  24. Enter her mind and make her feel as though she's flying a multi-coloured unicorn shooting moonbeams
  25. I love the detail that goes into cartoons once you understand human psychology in greater depth. I feel that the only thing that prevents a girl from having sex with you right away are social, emotional and cultural norms.
