  1. Yes that's true and its extremely rare. Usually it's a loosening up of identification as the ego construct.(glimpse) Typically the identification returns and hijacks it, turing it back into MY experience. But yes even a glimpse can have a rather large apparent impact. ?
  2. Yes, the ego is identification with conditioned thoughts/feelings of separation. Ego = identification It's not a real entity, it's a misidentification. When it's recognized BY NO ONE that the individual is an illusion, the disentangling happens by itself sort of speak and in most cases not instantly either. ❤
  3. Relatively is another name for separation or duality. Its a fictional story in which an individual living in a world of meaning, purpose and value, endlessly strives for fulfillment in the future. In that relative dream story the individual never finds what's truly longed for because what's truly longed for is the end of feeling separate. What's longed for is the end of ME that feels separate, incomplete or lacking. The cosmic joke is that "the separation never occurred" -ACIM It was only a dream story all along. ❤
  4. What's to know about anything, its already itself. EVERYTHING is already what it is. Its a Done Deal.
  5. @RMQualtrough You are onto something that was never actually hidden. Nice inquiry ?
  6. Are you asking? Has the homo sapiens mind evolved to the extent that it now has the capacity to become an entity unto itself, and therefore believes itself to be real and does not want to die. Maybe it deep down subconsciously knows it isn't real and tries extra hard to prove its reality. When identified as it, it seems to have an actual physical effect, so it seems more than just a thought... when identified as it, it becomes an actual experience in the body as well. That experience is, I am here, I am real and everything else is out there and I need to defend myself. Maybe just maybe but who would know ❤
  7. This is ? It's not about detachment though. Detachment sounds like a forced action. Its seeing clearly. For example: The Mirage of water up ahead in the desert looks convincing, but say you then pick up your binoculars and see through the Mirage that there is in fact no water at that location. There would be no need to detach because it was simply seen clearly... Seeing through it clearly WAS the Detachment process sort of speak. ❤
  8. It's so free that you can call nothing something and simultaneously believe it matters. Now that's what I call Freedom ?
  9. Haha no, and Jim Newman would definitely not do that. ? Before Awakening I watched a Tony Parson's video and literally could not grasp what he was pointing to. It wasn't till later things that they were talking about started getting clear. They do have really great pointers and ways of describing things... There is no need to reinvent the wheel... everything's already been said, it just needs to be seen clearly.
  10. "Between nothing and everything is" - VA This quote popped into my mind during my awakening a few years back.
  11. There is a conditioned body/mind that will turn its head when it's name is called, prefer coffee over tea and jump into the water to save someone from drowning prior to thinking about it. Then the sense of self says "I did that".
  12. Nope, I didn't say anything about conditioned ethics. I said that if nothing really matters there won't be a problem with you saving your mother if she was drowning.
  13. But if nothing matters there won't be a problem with you saving your mother either
  14. Why don't you bless us with your great understanding of what he was trying to say?
  15. Clouds seem to block the Sun. When you transcend the clouds in an aircraft there is nothing but sunshine.
  16. What's being pointed to transcends the dualistic idea of there even being a separate individual in which could have free will and choice. So in that sense there is no way to arrive at a yes or no conclusion when the individual is plucked out of the equation. ❤
  17. Find out who or what is asking this question first. ❤
  18. Deprogram; unlearn; unknowing; not knowing; die before you die; empty cup. These are pointing to the end of using a programed or conditioned thought process to attempt to know.
  19. Sensation, will, desire and action seem to occur. But the individual that takes ownership or that it seems to occur for, is an illusion.
  20. Decisions seem to occur. But there's no one making them. This recognition reveals that the dualistic notion of an individual with free will and choice is simply a misunderstanding.
