  1. I guess that means you give your second shot to Melinda...
  2. It can be. It can also be just scratching each other’s itch. How you connect with them non-sexually matters and happens first anyway.
  3. I’m at a pool hall, because I love playing pool. The waitress who has been serving me drinks went out of her way to come tell me goodbye because her shift ended. I didn’t ask her for her number, but I wished her a good night. Did I blow it? I don’t do hints. I take things at face value usually, unless it’s suuuuuuuuuper obvious that there’s subtext, which this didn’t seem to be. But she did walk out of her way to tell me goodbye.
  4. I guess I’ll be “that guy” and say no thanks. JP doesn’t interest me much. In a choice between the two, my bias goes to Sam Harris. Would looooooooooove to see a video about/with him.
  5. Yeah, it seemed like more pleasant small talk for her job like she had been doing earlier as she brought me drinks and the bill for the drinks. My only clue into anything was when I realized after the fact that her job was done and she was still talking to me. But we’ll see each other again, and see where it leads.
  6. Cool, thank you. Does the fact that we’re both wearing masks change the dynamic at all?
  7. Alright. But hold on. Is it a bad idea to ask her if she meant something other than goodbye when she told me goodbye? Does that “ruin the magic” or something? I just don’t see how it’s supposed to mean “hey, we should, like, fuck or something. Give me your number.” Or, you know, go ahead and give me more facepalms if I’m deserving.
  8. The J & J vaccine is only one shot. Regardless, I’m sorry it was rough for you. I received both my shots on the same days you received both of yours. Felt slightly achy and fatigued after the second shot, but normal otherwise. I wish that could be the case for everyone, but that doesn’t make it so.
  9. Yeah, it was really clunky early on when there was a perception of separation between Leo’s consciousness and the consciousness of the audience that put up barriers that Leo had to take down one by one as fast as he can. I have the benefit of familiarity with Leo’s content and speaking style, but I’m not sure I’d watch this video without it. I wouldn’t know what to make of it. Just agree with Leo on “how does anyone know anything”, apply it to him, and shut the video off most likely. The first half seems like more of a struggle to be understood than a conversation. It flowed better midway through, though.
  10. You can be outside of non-duality?!
  11. Here’s a strictly American perspective as reasoning for being vaccinated (pardon the bias). As of today, 15 months after the first documented cases: 32.6 million COVID-19 infections 579 thousand COVID-19 deaths America’s population in 1860: 31.4 million Soldiers killed in 5 years of civil war: 620 thousand I admire skepticism, but there comes a point where it’s just plain stupid. These numbers aren’t far off from each other for good reason. This virus isn’t some hoax. Yes, the government makes mistakes. Yes, pharmaceutical corporations are greedy. Yes, the vaccines themselves have caused some debilitating conditions and deaths in very few instances. These are valid concerns, although minor when compared to what the virus has already proven to be capable of doing.
  12. Your 20s is too late to be a teen. That’s about it. Anything else is either fine or too early.
  13. I understand that it’s clickbaity and the visuals and background music can be distracting. If you’re more interested in the message, that type of video should be avoided. Back then, for me, it was a perfect blend of eye-catching video, profound message, and a lovely song that got me hooked. I proceeded to binge watch other Neil Degrasse Tyson YouTube videos for a few years after that, regardless of length or lack of editing.
  14. Here’s an example of a video with lovely editing that brought me to tears back when I was way into the materialist paradigm: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9D05ej8u-gU Now imagine Leo’s content with even deeper insights and the same type of edits that can grab the attention of those not yet ready to seek out the spiritual path for themselves.
  15. Wouldn’t that make sex purely transactional? Abundant, but not intimate or fulfilling.
  16. Biden certainly isn’t beyond criticism. I think he should’ve kept his mouth shut about the trail and verdict unless he was asked about his opinion at a press conference. He had nothing to do with it, and it should’ve stayed that way. Blaming him for how it played out isn’t a good critique.
  17. Reality is here and now. Reality cannot be unreal. Experiencing and perceiving creates the illusion. Multiple people can be at the same place and experience the same event, yet have different perceptions of it. If any of these perceptions of the event are described as “reality”, that is the illusion. Also, believing the illusion as the truth is delusion.
  18. It’s my understanding that men’s rights movements are a backlash against women’s rights that have come about through feminism. They’re comprised of men blaming women for societal problems, much like Red Pilling is men blaming women for relationship problems.
  19. Rioting is the reason this country exists. Imagine if the Founding Fathers had paid their taxes like good little colonists.
  20. We would have to transcend the Law of Supply and Demand that determines the market value for goods and services currently.
