Could Hawkins be considered as a good example of the Transrational being viewed by SD Blue and Orange worldviews as prerational and then just dismissed as woo woo. I put more stock in kinesiology than the map of Consciousness calibration. But as long as the numbers of the scale are not taken too concretely, there is some good to be had using it as a frame of reference. Years ago I read the Power vs Force trilogy repeatedly for a couple of years. It caused me to wonder if transmission could be received through a book. Reading these books continually kept me 'high' in a sense. On one occasion I saw Hawkins take a very dim view of Pop music, particularly heavy metal. His reaction seemed over the top. I would even describe his reaction as one of negative emotion, which struck me as odd. That one occasion is about the only time I viewed him as being off in a way. For whatever that's worth. Not really his opinion but rather the undue emotion that came with it. Maybe it was just a generational thing. It was similar to a time Alan Ginsburg asked Chogyam Trungpa if he found anything of inspiration in rock music. Trungpa said no. Maybe jazz he said. Jazz? It's been a while since I've watched a Hawkins video on youtube after having discovering them long after I had read the books. If there is not a thread on High Consciousness Resources devoted to Hawkins. I may create one. @Sagar Takker I've enjoyed reading your good posts. Glad you found Actualized.org!

No. I was joking above in how it captured my name in the quote instead of yours. ? I was afraid I had come off as preachy in the post before yours. Glad the fight ended up good,,, Did I ever mention how my Oracle Of The Cosmic Way book spit at hexagram 23- Splitting Apart ? A little freaky huh? Or maybe just synchronous. On Ipad. Better go before the small battery charge gives out. ?♂️

@tsuki I respect the way you're going about it. Also a little envious in the past when I read how well you got on with the rtcm while my results ended somewhat confusing. A signal that I was approaching the Oracle through ego during those times. I didn't say that. You said that just above . I didn't mean to imply that you were. What I had written earlier has applied to me in several readings. Your statement there seems a concise paraphrasing from those readings. I feel like there are many different yet valid approaches in using this book. Your style of phrasing with +'s and -'s ,,,,,, much easier. I'm having difficulty quoting you with this android,, The text you referred me to on page 570 could very well apply. I'll keep it in mind and reread it tommorow. Perhaps use the rtcm on the issue. Thanks,,

Oops, damned android I'm using,,, I'll carry on in a new post

@Moon I agree with your assessment of Emeralds advice. Serious. Not just being a kiss ass.?? A saying by Ocke deBoer about an awakened being dealing with people in whatever culture it may be. " Sometimes you need to learn when it's time to go run and hide." -
@tsuki Throwing the coins to receive a hexagram, most often for me anyhow, will have changing lines which creates a second hexagram. The changing lines of the first hexagram are usually the most pertinent in my understanding and then the general commentary of the second. My routine is usually to do a reading at the beginning of the day. You may have read how Carol Anthony in the beginning wrote her hexagrams from the top down, which is actually backward. They are to be written from the bottom up. She wrote that even though written backward she still received applicable advice. The Sage later communicated to her that was because of her sincerity combined with some disaplined objectivity. After her correction in method, the advice given became even more in tune with her life and needs. That message about her sincerity in asking really stuck with me. My relating of it could be somewhat inexact, though. I just now threw the coins asking if my poor results in using the rtcm, (retroactive three coin method) which I didn't mention before was because of my asking specfic questions that should be answered by my Being, instead of the Oracle. The answer was two heads, one tail. Which is a mostly yes. In rephrasing my question while writing it down, I asked the Sage if my rewording was more correct. The throw resulted in 3 heads. A definite yes. Pretty neat, I'm thinking while sittting here about to hit the submit reply button.

Yes. Yes and pretty much. I'm in awe of the Retroactive three coin method but have not made it a practice I've used except on rare occasions. Can't really say why . I plan to though. I think it's great you use it a lot. I love the whole translation they've made. It's really a unique work.

I'm glad to be free from Ranch responsibilities. It's been a couple of years now and I'm still getting used to it. Any Good Jokes Lately? by Dr. Jim Rosen ©2020 Dr. Jim Rosen Did you hear the one about the man who went to his medical doctor because he was having muscle spasms? The doctor gave him three kinds of drugs: a shot for pain, pills to relax his muscles, and an anti-depressant medication. The funny thing is, the man accepted these things as if they were actually treatment for his problem. The doctor didn’t teach the man any techniques for relaxing his muscles. He didn’t examine the man for tensions and stresses in his life. And he didn’t teach him anything about overcoming or managing his particular stresses. In addition to all that, the man wasn’t experiencing depression. A qualified assessment revealed that he was actually anxious, upset and afraid with physical pain. Now, what sort of doctor do you suppose this man should have gone to for real treatment?

Anymore I don't even frame a question because I was essentially asking the same one every time in a way. What do I need to know or consider right now. Some might say that it's going about it incorrectly but it seems to work,,,,? As you probably know Terence McKenna was fascinated with the I CHING as many great thinkers have been. What blows my mind time and again was Carl Jung writing the forward to the Wilhelm/Baines English translation and it was then he coined the term 'synchronicity' and how much that word is used in the present day. ? That is, if I'm not completely mistaken.

Here's an old YouTube of Dwight I forgot about. The timing is right in that he speaks about Christmas time and points out how mechanical people are in going about things of tradition and cultural ritual.
-
This image that I've used before was also copied from Dwight's website. I assume he created it. A different perspective of the human energy centers or chakras. He was never proselytizing. It was always, if it's not true for you, it's not true. Verify everything for yourself over time. I'm not taking credit or altering the wording. He simply wanted for those who were interested in digging deeper into this kind of material, to provide it in a way that's understandable. I believe I will try to make contact and perhaps obtain his other writings and permission to share. Also I should say that I do not hold myself up as a teacher. I like to share as a friend and fellow student of the human condition to whomever it interests.

Thanks @MuadDib I would have pasted the gallery link but I uploaded them out of order. Think I got them in correct order below. I don't think he copyrighted his material and made sure to accredit the article to him. I might give him a call or email to see how he's doing. From here I'll work at getting this posted in type. Just within the last couple of weeks the idea has came to me. I haven't made a fool of myself in a big way. Should be any day now,,,, I put on my psychonaut helmet and tried some 3 meo pcp last night. 10 mg of that stuff insufflated will really grab you by the boo boo. Yeah, that's enough for me, thank you very much. It's classified as a dissociative like ketamine. The comedown was ok and today I felt nice but dissociatives are just not for me. I like the name Angeldust. It sounds friendlier although 3 meo pcp is probably not considered angeldust proper. Doesn't matter. I've about washed my hands of that stuff for good I think. Dissociatives, that is. Still trying to figure out how to get Dwight's article on Esoteric Christianity posted in one piece. Wouldn't think it would be that difficult but for those who are onlooking, it's pretty easy to gauge my technological ineptitude. Still haven't a clue as to why or how my paper clip icon button at the bottom of the page has disappeared. I could use a technological guardian angel,,,,

I'm probably a candidate,,,, Enjoying your Journal!

Does this link to Dwight's four page article work for anyone?

My paper clip icon thingy has gone away which leaves me unable to finish adding the rest of the article about Esoteric Christianity in the forum. I’ll try to figure something out. I went outside and was cutting and piling brush and got my eye poked by a limb. Built a fire and and was unable to fully enjoy it because my eye was hurting. Playing with fire most always cheers me up but not so much this evening. I’m thankful to still be able to see out of my left eye though. Here’s Jim’s weekly mini-column- The Strength of Dependence by Dr. Jim Rosen ©2020 Dr. Jim Rosen The idea of independence can be taken too far. The thought that you can be completely independent -- that you should be so strong within yourself, that you will not need other people for your self-worth or your happiness -- is a false teaching. Total independence is not reality, and it’s not the true way to self-esteem and happiness. If you never depend on another human being, you can never be complete. Perhaps without realizing it, you are affected by other people’s thoughts, feelings and actions. You are especially affected by those you’re closest to, in particular your partner or mate. You can and should achieve some independence; in fact you have to in order to be a whole person, and stand on the two feet that God gave you. But total independence is not a worthy goal. It is a sign of strength for you and your partner or mate or friend to depend on one another. The deeper your love, the more you rely on each other for love, support and reassurance. When you can do this for each other, you both grow stronger. When you can’t, you hold each other back.

Thanks, @Preety_India @blackchair @seeking_brilliance I agree, @kbone Moderators or anyone who can answer. My button on the left for adding from photos has disappeared, how do I get it back so I can ad the rest of the article? Thanks -
This was written by a former Teacher of mine, Dwight Ott. Of the different Gurdjieff lineages, so to speak, Dwight studied with one of the Nyland Groups. http://www.nyland.org/ When I met him, around 2003, he was a fairly recent widower, an early retired school Teacher, Vegetarian, and a portrait Artist in the resort town of Eureka Springs Arkansas. I'm glad I had copied this off his website that he had available for a few years. I just wished I had saved all of his writings concerning the Fourth Way and Esoteric Christianity. Around the time I met Dwight, Charles Tart had ran across Dwights writings on his small website and paid him compliments. I guess that's all the name dropping for now. These were poor copies and not helped much with my photography. I plan to clean this somehow and then put it in the Christian High Consciousness Resources where I think it belongs. I would like some feedback about that if anyone has objections or comments. There are 1 1/2 more pages I'll load tomorrow,if not sooner. .
