  1. @Leo Gura Yet on the lowest level such a perspective will keep you from remaining in the highest level. Nuance.
  2. That’s one example. The Buddha always spoke of cravings and fears. Buddhahood is synonymous with the end of both. The eradication of the delusions brought forth by one’s tainted survival mechanism. The fundamental importance one places on it. & it is most definitely possible. All insights and understanding are tainted by fears and cravings. This needs to be understood otherwise we risk falling for the tricks of your our inner devil as you call it. Saying it is all perfect from the absolute perspective is fine. Yet at the same time. Here are delusion and suffering. Identification and pain. By rejecting “the bad and evil” with no understanding we create resistance, struggle pain and untruth. Yet by pretending it is all perfect when all of our subconscious and body screams it is not we risk doing the same. It is by understanding and nuance that we avoid both pitfalls. the pitfalls of the rejectionist. The ascetic, and the one that can see beyond the senses. There lies true growth.
  3. As awakenings deepen they carry with them nuance & stability. Both of which you lack in your “trips”. You do not see reality clearly, and the black and white way which you see the world is just another delusion.
  4. @whoareyou My point was a general one. Don’t know much about moojis case, and am not disagreeing with you. Just adding nuance to the discussion.
  5. Leo is merely being understanding and saying things aren’t black and white. Tight knit communities that are involved in spiritual work will undoubtably have unhealthy dynamics. Cult dynamics. Regular communities are unhealthy. Add the gruelling and destabilising nature of the spiritual path and you might fall and hurt yourself. Hurting yourself is a small matter though. Will you learn, understand and grow at that point in time or will you be a simpleton? Demonising others will not allow you to understand them, and you can not accept that which you fail to understand. That which you paint with a broad brush. Not defending mooji. Not a fan of him. Though I was listening to him when I awakened. Point being you can learn from all of life or you can demonise it, put other down and prolong your life of stress and ignorance.
  6. @Aakash because knowing is basic. “I know I’m the self and the self has nothing to fear”... cool, but your animalistic instincts and years of conditioning don’t give a shit lol.... that’s where the real path starts. You can’t put game your physical system with thoughts, “understandings” that are experiential, conceptual and so on. Thats what Theravada Buddhism is about and why it emphasises getting rid of cravings instead of some non dual gibberish.
  7. His system is just moving beyond the high of awakening. Getting real and growing. He is actually progressing, but that’s difficult for him. Imagine if you taught thousands of people and had to be like oh.... what I said with absolute confidence... well not fully true.... I didn’t understand certain thing.... and was delusional in a lot of ways.
  8. @Nahm “how did bob learn golf?” ”there is no bob” ....
  9. the path is not an intellectual exercise. Not clearly comprehending that is probably a factor as to why you have not yet stabalized in non dual state.
  10. @Tony 845 You don’t grow without birth pangs. Also remember the path isn’t about always feeling good. Dark nights of the soul lead to tremendous growth. Gl
  11. It should be clear to you people’s knowledge of kundalini on here is really basic. Most teachers don’t understand it either, because kundalini is an umbrella term for a whole host of spinal openings that affect the body in many, very different ways. With different outcomes. Dont ask for advice on here regarding kundalini. In general energetic openings are very intense and change your life immensely, and not always in ways you want, ways that they have in others so your best bet is riding it out. If it’s too much don’t meditate, eat healthy, understand this process will not be over in anytime soon. It’s gradual and long. good luck
  12. Wow everyone on here gets it. So smart. Unlike this science guy. He doesn’t even know about being. ...
  13. Cool so maybe stop making posts about every insight and do just that jk The desire share is strong though so can’t blame you haha
  14. @Aakash shift to non duality is cool. Insights are cool. Go live your life though. Gaining emotional depth is the meat of the post awakening process.
  15. That’s a very weird thing to say. Can say that about anything. “Like eating corn is just me eating myself.”
  16. @thesmileyone only through understanding yourself and others can you outgrow the limitations of both. Aversion and rejection of life will not work in the longer run. The middle path teaches precisely that. Good luck though : ) honest self reflection without groupthink could be beneficial
  17. I don’t think you nor even most people that just awaken understand how shallow awakening can be for most in an awakened state. A drastic change from before? Sure. Dis identification on a conscious level? Sure. A newfound baseline, yep. but Do you have a long, long, long way to go? Even when you stabalize in non duality? Definitely Do you have the same issues as normal people in a slightly different way? Yep. Can you still suffer? Immensely. It might not appear like that to an awakened person but it’s just circumstance. If your mooji in a Portuguese resort. You won’t be bothered by anything. Nor will you think you can be, but haha not true. The eradication of all subconscious ideation that remains upon permanent awakening is a long and arduous journey. One that most people don’t finish, because they trade nuance away and simply cling to their worlds. Halt its evolution.
  18. Read adyashantis end of your world, will help you chill as your awakening stabalizes.
  19. @whoareyou They do. Buddhism has stages. Sufism has stages. Zen has stages. Modern teachers that talk about stages Ramaji, David spero, Jan esmann, Sat shree, Maharishi Mahesh yogi the founder of the tm movement. “You” “don’t” “know” “how” “deep” “the” “rabbit” “hole” “goes”
  20. You guys are fairly clueless as to what stabalization in basic non duality is, and how far that is from full enlightenment. Watching a tolle video doesn’t change that. He is pretty unaware of how deep the rabbit hole goes too. I am not the only one saying that either. Ramaji puts him in the first stage of enlightenment. Jan esmann thinks he isn’t too advanced either, but why listen to everyone I just mentioned. You watched a tolle video, and had an awakening once. You know enlightenment and reality like the back of your hand.
  21. Awakening, realising non duality, and stabilising in it (stream entry) doesn’t have to take too long. People often confuse that for full enlightenment or arhathood. Most the “enlightened” teachers are so very far from the actual thing.
  22. The issue with some things is not their degree of truthfulness, but how people perceive said things that are said. Saying suffering is a conceptual thing or mind created, and one can stop doing it. Will make people that don’t understand how deep subconscious ideation goes. Believe by saying “They are in the present moment”, they are now above such limitation. Which will then hinder further growth and progress.
