Well nice of you to define enlightenment for us. Thank you sir. -

You still can't explain reality then. You can't prove other experiences exist and yet you sit here and tell me they can. Prove it then! Mad scientist! Prove it if you have such a winning answer! Let see what you got.. I promise you it's not a lot. -

Wishful thinking. Really contemplate reality. I mean really. In the Absolute sense there can't be other. We agree. So in the relative sense are they really some physical object made of atoms or are they figments of your imagination as God? Might be too scared to think the latter. -

Well his personal antics ultimately effect the government. We're screwed for the next four years unless you want to get into politics. Which I don't see you doing due to health issues. For me i could care less. These fools aren't enlightened and never will be. It's like beating a dead horse. I gave up long ago and now I'm just along for the ride. Its a lot easier to accept that way. You will do the same in time. Besides, it's your dream. All of it. You created the entire thing right down to the smell of Donald Trump's shoes. So I hope you like the dream. -

That is absolutely right and it is total. There is no "other" that is necessary or anything outside of what is direct experience. This is it. -

You seem very sure of this yet you cannot prove that there are other areas outside of your direct consciousness. There is only - and I empathize - there is ONLY - your direct consciousness or awareness. That is all you have and it is all you ever will have because there is nothing more. -

Maybe if she had been this wouldn't have happened. I hope you aren't labeling a negative connotation to antidepressants. -

It's a thread about Elon Musk being a pompous ass..let's be clear 😀 but I'm glad you added the edit. I mean...the same opportunities are still there regardless of who is calling the shots..at least for now..it's gonna take a special person, sure..to break through. But being ordinary ...well it just leaves you ordinary. Nothing wrong with that either. -

Well you sure have it explained well my friend. I'd say that's a philosophy. -

But see there is a problem with that because then you have to explain where duality comes from. And where the tree comes from. What is it made of if it's independent of consciousness? If consciousness is a component of the Absolute and not fundamental then what is fundamental to the Absolute? Do you just want to explain this away by saying it's unexplainable? Well if you do that my friend, I might just call out your philosophy as, well..vacant. -
Inliytened1 replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well remember I never said there said there was a you. Remember what I said about self and other. That is a duality that must collapse. There is just the Absolute or Consciousness. So while self is not real or you, nor is other. Thus, when I say "you" are looking at a tree what I really mean is the tree just IS -

Exactly. There wasn't a plan here. There was a helpless feeling of suffering and self deception. She stated that she wanted to commit suicide already right? But this was a way of going out that made more of a bang. It was selfishness but also it was lack of love and communication. Had this person received the proper guidance, love, and tutelage then she probably wouldn't have committed suicide in this manner and took others out with her. Suicide happens every day it's just then when they decide to take others with them it becomes a big story. -

Ok but if there is no consciousness of the tree then why would the tree need to be there at all? It would be no different than being at zero. -
Inliytened1 replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Then the tree doesn't exist when it's zero right? Or does the tree still exist independent of consciousness. -
Inliytened1 replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
So the universe is conscious of it? But notice that you did include consciousness (the tree itself being infinite consciousness) so that means that you do believe Consciousness is fundamental to existence. -

@Leo Gura @Leo Gura Nothing is easy. Everything in life is hard and takes work and endless effort. If you want to achieve anything in life you have to become consumed with it. You created your own presence. And the giant corporations were there. They've been there for a while now if you haven't noticed. But you did it because of dedication. Anyone with that same dedication still has the same opportunity in this country. -

Ok so let me ask you this again. If a tree falls in the forest but there is no one conscious of it,, does it make any sound? -
Inliytened1 replied to PurpleTree's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@PurpleTree you can decide whether or not you want to suffer from it. Yes. -

Whatever you are dreaming is reality. There is no difference. But you see that does make reality a dream. Until you wake up it's real as day. -

He is as real as I make him out to be. -

Jesus man don't make it sound so glum. I mean, no one is stopping you from creating your own business. If you wanna work for a soulless corporation that's your choice, in the end. Right? -

He'll get back to you on that when he gets done with Diablo. -
Inliytened1 replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No not typically. I'm dreaming. If I were to go meta while the dream is happening it would interfere with the realness of the dream. But I am still lucid. I only choose to be lucid when I choose to be. Otherwise I lose myself in the dream. Does that make sense? -

But he had love so that throws out your theory. So when you get fucked by society what makes you the Joker or the Penguin vs Batman? Batman's parents were killed when he was a child. The bigger question is - is there a difference between them? Batman was a vigilante if you don't recall.
