  1. It appears all employees received an email from Elon Musk to state what they did the prior week (like a weekly status report) and if they didn't respond it would be taken as their resignation. Wtf? A lot of employees are scared for their jobs but are being told by immediate supervision not to respond. And unions say they will be challenging. What kind of corporate corruption is this shit? I would tell them to kick rocks! If this is really true it's such a joke. If they want to fire them all just fire them. It just seems so messed up. I work in the corporate environment so I know how messed up it can get but this the worst of the worst. They should all just start getting their resumes ready...but it's kinda messed up that they should have to.
  2. This isnt about your aim its about your view or your take. If you didn't want to have a horce in the race then why didn't you say so when you said you felt like Luigi should die because the CEO was some rich guy. By the way playing the survival card doesn't get you past corruption. Survival is corruption in most cases. There are very few instances where survival can be had without corruption. And those times should be cherished
  3. I'm just giving you shit dude lighten up. You're the one who got all defensive. I asked you because I wanted your opinion not to "getcha"
  4. Then maybe you should keep quiet about asking people on the left to question the right to see what their views are when you have no say in the matter. So yes, it scratches my itch.
  5. What's your thoughts on what Musk is doing right now with the government? Do you think the shake up is bad? What about Trump "cuddling up to Putin" when it comes to foreign affairs?
  6. This was a rogue leftist not the democratic party. Be hard within the confines of the law. When I say soft I mean Biden and his corrupt cohorts
  7. The previous regime was soft period. Its not just one thing. They were soft. Now...I know I didn't ask for the polar opposite..but that's what you are going to get from the majoriry of the people that don't want softness. They want the polar opposite. What would be nice is somewhere in between.
  8. Word up. I mean he would be in prison for life and all.. so while he is rehabilitating and finding God, your loved one left the earth many years ago. All years stolen from them while the killer has those years.. But yeah, hopefully the state will say its just.
  9. Let's see how easy it will be to forgive the guy who slaughters and rapes your wife in front of you.
  10. Exactly. I don't think highly of the labeling that goes on here. This is supposed to be a high Consciousness forum and yet everyone wants to so quickly assume or divide everyone into sides. I think hopefully we're all beyond that. We have a whole spiritual forum about "not knowing" for Christ sake. I guess the political forum can be considered low Consciousness if everyone here identifies on a particular side. The whole point of high Consciousness is to rise above that.
  11. The problem is taking a taking a side of liberalism or conservatism. No one is going to gain anything by taking a particular side or identifying with any side. And surely no one is going to get enlightened by it. Why does everyone have to assume that someone is liberal because they agree or disagree about a particular agenda? Why do you even jump to that? Because someone who "sides" liberal automatically has to agree with everything on the "liberal" checklist? Why do you label people like that? How do you even know he's "liberal"? Whatever that even means. I mean maybe he is but don't you think he's thought for himself on these topics? Why label him into a group because he has an opinion on a topic? That's the whole problem with politics today.
  12. This is problematic because whether that person is still a threat or not, they are still living, breathing and growing while their victim no longer exists on this Earth. Is it morally right for them to go on while their victim is dead? But this thread isn't a debate on the death penalty itself and maybe we should redirect this back on track because I believe the post was about why this guy is being killed and not school shooters or others. So it's not a question on the death penalty itself. It's why this guy and not that guy.
  13. I don't know about all that...that's an awful lot of reading into a person. But hey, you follow him closely from what I've seen, so you probably have a better read on him than I do. But your point on going beyond human morality is an important one - and it's one that separates an advanced society from one that is stuck in its own selfishness. But according to you he's not going beyond morality for the common unity he's doing it puff his own chest. And I don't get that vibe - i just think he's voicing his opinion. So let's watch the personal attacks whether accurate or not.
  14. I understand that I just think if the death penalty is going to exist then I don't think the judicial system should need to be picky and choosy about it depending on the message that needs to be sent. That in itself is kind of backwards which was what @PurpleTree was pointing out. It should not be a weapon to be wielded by discretion. Either it shouldn't be used at all or it should be used equally across the board. Maybe I'm not being nuanced enough i just think the death penalty is something prior to it because it is about human life and Judges shouldn't be able to play God.
  15. Who used democracy to play their game? And what was the game? You can't blame the government completely - it is also the people..but not just the people gaining power it's the people themselves that are allowing themselves to be fooled. In other words don't put all the blame on the oligarchs. The people have to take responsibility. And they're not all stupid. They're just blind.
  16. If the death penalty is warranted by law then it should be enforced by the judge I'm saying that it shouldn't matter how high profile the case is. The problem i have is not with this case it's with the low profile ones (or, the school shootings, for example) that maybe the guy should be put to death but isn't. So then when they follow the law with a case like this, it stands out.
  17. No i just try to see things from multiple perspectives. But listen this corporate stuff isn't anything new. The problem is it's being poured into the federal government now and we are turning the federal government into a tech company. Thats what's happening. So I don't like the BS that goes on there - I never have because I deal with it everyday. This isn't anything new I just think they just stick to their guns and tell him to kick rocks.
  18. Lol...that's the whole problem with the judicial system...its corrupt. That corruption is what you so often rant against right? The fact that a judge would change a decision based on how wealthy and influential someone is - is the definition of corruption. A human life is a human life, and the punishment for taking a human life should ideally be the same - (there are of course circumstances which could change this obviously - such as if it is premeditated and such. But ultimately you are talking nonsense right now.
  19. Dude I was with you until this. A murderer is a murderer. A CEO's life isn't more valuable then an unemployed guy on the street. The problem is public perception. No one cares about the guy on the street. So a bigger case is going to get bigger attention - but it shouldn't be the difference between getting the death penalty or not..yet often it does. To that point. There are many on death row that are low profile - you don't even hear of them unless they end up on Netflix shows such as "I am a Killer". Which by the way is a great show. @PurpleTree Look..bottom line is i agree with @Leo Gura that it's a just punishment for the crime - however the law doesn't always allow for it. Life in prison is the next one down but life in prison allows them to still breath while their victim no longer lives. They can still learn, think, and develop while their victim is a distant memory. So it's not lower conscious to keep the death penalty where it's warranted. It is probably warranted here- it's just the problem is there's plenty of cases where the killer deserves it but gets off with life.
  20. No the core problem is self-deception. Narcissists and corrupt individuals were literally handed the power by the people. You see the problem is you can have all the democracy in the world but if the people are deceived then it really flips democracy on its head.
  21. Sorry I missed that you had this profound awakening. Yes that's why i call it the final realization. But for me i just called it Oneness as you realize that all other is your own mind. The dream realization was a separate one. You could realize reality is a dream but yet still hold the notion that other beings have their own independent Concisousness. .
  22. What was the no self realization like? Because to me that is enlightenment but there is more to realize. Were they completely spontaneous or did they follow meditation or psychedelics? If totally spontaneous then you're probably very spiritually gifted. I only meditated like two weeks prior to my awakening. So if you are looking for what i call the final realization and had all of your realizations and enlightenment spontaneously then maybe try some spiritual tools. But again don't go into it with any expectations. The ego will work as a blocker if you do that.
  23. @OBEler what is solipsismus? Did you mean solipsism?
  24. Meditation - do nothing meditation - concentration meditation and self inquiry. I would not specifically aim to become directly conscious of Oneness or Absolute Solpsism. I would start by looking inward to first discover what you are. Because first you to have to realize what the self is before the duality of self vs other can collapse. No self was the first awakening i had and led to many others that followed..with the final one being that I was Alone as God and that other was held within the Mind of God. Part of that realization is that the entire Universe is all yours as God. But this a more advanced realization that typically will come after the realization of no self. This is the icing on top of the cake of enlightenment. But just begin by meditating and using the various practices to turn Awareness inward. The Truth of Other must be discovered by discovering the Truth of Self and that is foud by looking inward and self inquiring. Let go of all beliefs and just inquire with an open mind. But pad that with a lot of concentration meditation and do nothing meditation to raise your concisousness dial. If you do both in tandem your consciousness will be elevated enough to where a mystical experience can occur.
