@abrakamowse yeah good to put that out there. i use the term "he" a lot but i don't mean a bearded guy in the sky. It's just a metaphor. Can't really capture God with words.

@Bufo Alvarius haha that is just it. God or you, is Infinitely intelligent. So yes from his Absolute Perspective he already knows himself. But wouldn't it get boring for God to not explore himself again and again to infinity? Afterall all he has IS himself. So he has to trick himself. Now trying to wrap your finite mind around this is tough. If your mind just melted don't feel bad mine did too. Becoming yourself will make it clear.

@Bufo Alvarius it's a mindfuck but from Gods perspective, from the Absolute Perspective, there is only Being which is formless. In that formlessness yes you have already posted this and not posted it an infinite amount of times. But God wants to actually carve something out so it can know itself You are that which is being carved out now as you be your perspective. It's a mind fuck because Reality is ONLY perspectives. It's an Absolute relativity.

@Shin Keep suffering Stop doing something or multiple things that is feeding you pleasure. This will result in suffering. For example do you have any addictions? Try not doing the addiction (which gives you pleasure) for 30 days. After even a few days or a week you will feel the suffering. You don't have to answer the addiction question of course it was rhetorical.

@Shin then there is your answer. Now keep doing that. It aint quite enough yet.

@Shin that's how Total this thing is. But have you ever suffered? Suffering is growth in this work. What about Leo's suggestion of a 30 day solo retreat. That can't be all pleasure

@Rilles if it was a true experience when he fully integrates back into his ego the ego will feel the backlash. He could remain in a state of bliss for weeks though, just depends.

@mandyjw yup..and intuition....and even the part of your ego that is inherently self deceptive will try to counter that too. So ya just have to go with your intuition. Ego just wants pleasure.. "aww come on man, you don't wanna meditate today, it's boring. Lets play video games!" That love and courage you mentioned is still a part of Absolute Love

Yes the Ego is so Total in its self deception than it cannot perceive or comprehend non-existence. It fears it. Even though non-existence is happening right now - right on top of existence. It fears death, which in reality there is no such thing - you are Infinite right now - you cannot escape yourself - (or infinity) because you are actually God/Infinity as a part of Infinity/God or a part of itself. Consciousness minus the ego/formed is Absolute Infinity - if is formless. It is Being. There are no dualities or distinctions there. There is no survival or non-survival. So if you meditate and do self inquiry and other techniques long enough a mystical experience will occur and you will become only formless. You as the ego shall dissolve. You will no longer be the ego. And you will experience Being as Being. This is the ultimate Bliss. Better than a heroin high. Anyone out there who has not had a mystical experience after years of this may want to ponder using pyschedelics as a tool to speed the process. This was a lengthy reply but i felt the question needed a lengthy explanation.

I do because with the discovery of Truth you will find yourself at a much higher level of consciousness and your ability then to grow as a human being will really begin to open up. From a SD perspective yes you can move to higher stages more effortlessly once you have discovered Truth. It doesn't propel you to Turquoise immediately although in a sense it does. But you will still have earlier stages in you that you will need to work through

There are different teachers but only One Truth.

The way i see it thats why there are different sections of the forum. There is a section for spirituality/enlightenment/Non-duality and there is a section for self actualization. I think there is more emphasis on the spirituality area here and maybe that should be balanced out with more discussion on personal development. That's fair. I can't speak for Leo but i believe he sees discovering the Truth for yourself is paramount - for before you can truly self actualize to the highest levels you have to understand truly the trickery of the ego so as to be able to navigate past it. Personally i agree with that from my own personal experiences.

The ego does not want suffering. It just wants pleasure. It wants to survive at all costs. But this is actually counter to Truth. God wishes to experience himself in an infinite number of ways. It is only by exploring itself and living through itself that it can know itself. That is why deep suffering leads to Truth. To the ego this can't be comprehended, it's extremely counter intuitive and very hard to grasp without mystical experiences.

I asked him this when i first joined. His answer was that this is an online chat. A total online chat would open up more room for trolls, etc.

@Commodent yes, personal attacks won't help anyone. All it will do is potentially push someone away from what is a goldmine of wisdom and Truth. A person needs to grow on their own. I think someone mentioned it a while ago in another post. If they want advice or help they will ask for it. But ultimately one has to journey this path alone.

@Shadowraix yes his ego has him by the balls right now which is exactly what it wants. To move him AWAY from Truth. Once one becomes Truth for themselves they become conscious that it just IS. And Isness, or Being, Is Absolute Love. Not a relative Love, but Absolute.

@Mikael89 No you don't REALLY know it. Thats the whole problem.
