The way i see it thats why there are different sections of the forum. There is a section for spirituality/enlightenment/Non-duality and there is a section for self actualization. I think there is more emphasis on the spirituality area here and maybe that should be balanced out with more discussion on personal development. That's fair. I can't speak for Leo but i believe he sees discovering the Truth for yourself is paramount - for before you can truly self actualize to the highest levels you have to understand truly the trickery of the ego so as to be able to navigate past it. Personally i agree with that from my own personal experiences.

The ego does not want suffering. It just wants pleasure. It wants to survive at all costs. But this is actually counter to Truth. God wishes to experience himself in an infinite number of ways. It is only by exploring itself and living through itself that it can know itself. That is why deep suffering leads to Truth. To the ego this can't be comprehended, it's extremely counter intuitive and very hard to grasp without mystical experiences.

I asked him this when i first joined. His answer was that this is an online chat. A total online chat would open up more room for trolls, etc.

@Commodent yes, personal attacks won't help anyone. All it will do is potentially push someone away from what is a goldmine of wisdom and Truth. A person needs to grow on their own. I think someone mentioned it a while ago in another post. If they want advice or help they will ask for it. But ultimately one has to journey this path alone.

@Shadowraix yes his ego has him by the balls right now which is exactly what it wants. To move him AWAY from Truth. Once one becomes Truth for themselves they become conscious that it just IS. And Isness, or Being, Is Absolute Love. Not a relative Love, but Absolute.

@Bill W There are many Awakened people. Not proportional to total population of course, but they're out there He presents it in a way that modern folk can comprehend and resonate with. But Truth is Truth. Try not to fall into that trap.

@Shaun concept and imagination. You aren't conscious of this as an Absolute yet, these are all fictions in your head. When you have a mystical experience that reveals Oneness to you, then you shall be conscious of it, and it will no longer matter to you because you have discovered you are God. This is tricky, tricky stuff.

@Bestyle2209 Wasn't meaning it like that, it was merely a question. Because whatever ideas you may or may not have about Truth or being God actually aren't it. That's knowing it...but to really truly know it you need to become it. Or in other words become what you always were. This cannot be accomplished via the rational, logical mind. It must be accomplished via mysticism. Afterall, Reality is fundamentally mystical in nature. The rational mind lies within Reality and thus cannot reach outside to grasp reality. Becoming a mystic doesnt happen overnight despite what one might think. And even one mystical experience will only reveal part of the Truth to you, if any at all.

It's how you look at it so in that sense it's relative. But there is an Absolute point. And that is to discover that you ARE the Absolute point. And to become it eternally in it's purest form. The formless.

@Truth Addict you speak the truth relative to you. That's your perspective. But their is a higher Truth. An Absolute. The Absolute perspective. Which is no perspective at all actually it's just pure Being or Isness. God in his purest form - the formLESS. That's what some of the folks here don't want to believe. And those of us who have become it, become ourselves, only disservice or turn God into the Devil by trying to convince others of it. It's the snake eating its own tail.

They're conscious but they're not conscious that they are conscious. Everything is made of consciousness. But not everything is self conscious and yet even less are conscious that they are self conscious. Rocks are not self conscious. It's not much different than your ideas of things now - but it's not happening inside a brain and there is no objective world out there. There is only consciousness, and everything is contained within.

@Flatworld Crusades i ageee. There is no place for shouting profanity at other people. If it comes to that the person should take a break from this and do some real introspection.

@Flatworld Crusades Understood. But when one's entire belief system or paradigm is threatened it can indeed cause one to implode. And we are talking about paradigm shifts here.

@Flatworld Crusades Yes but also remember this is very radical and advanced stuff. It is par for the course that it is going to spark heated discussion and debate. At the end of the day we must respect all perspectives. And to do that we must be able to see things and understand things from multiple perspectives - to jump between them. Truth is Absolute. It is the Absolute perspective. It will reveal itself when it chooses.
