This is silly. Are you going to show me an example? Or make me dig around the internet. The point is you are making politics humanity. It isn't. It's like saying the spiral dynamics model is Truth. There is a blend of all of these things there are just more or less of them depending on the individual. -

It's worse? Go back and look at @Apparition of Jack words if you want to say the right is worse. Look no further than this thread. -

And you don't think the conservatives have this too? Kinda silly to divide the lines like that - so black and white. So the conservatives have none of this then? At least @Joshe is nuanced in his responses yours are often thrown together haphazardly. -

What i have leaned here thus far is that he's not a leftist (heavy deflection but maybe) and that maybe he was just some crazy loner like they labeled Oswald. In the end they're right - anyone who would do this isnt rational. But the subtle things behind what led up to this should be inspected. And of course here we have that Kirk said some things that were outright messed up. The real question is where do we draw the line between words and action based on those words? How radical should we be? -

Let me get them there. -

And what makes the liberal special in this case? What drives them? @Elliot this is for you too. -

Dude as you enjoy your morning coffee please don't try and justify his death. I thought better of you 😔 -

Fear is what allows one to survive. So we all have fear. I think its greed, ego, and the egos lust for power and control that is stronger in that party. But it does exist in both. -

A wise man once said it is wiser to remain taciturn. The left is generally more passive - and maybe that means more thoughtful but also maybe not. Trump through all his faults is a brilliant mind. Though his mind is empty when it comes to spiritual matters or Absolute Truth. He would have no understanding of these things. But that's why in the spiral dynamics model the left are placed higher. What Kirk was spouting was pretty bad. He was a radical. But to give you a similar story my mother is very similar to your co-workers. I won't discuss politics with her at all because she is so blinded by her own point of view. -

No one remains in power forever. He'll be voted out. Honestly my biggest fear isn't whats happening now is what will happen when the left gains control again? It was such a disaster before. What would change? Here at least Trump is promoting manufacturing in the US via tarrifs. So he cut down on immigration and that sucks. For the transgenders - it's fucked up because I believe you can be born in the wrong body. But there are many who are fake too. It is what it is. But if this is the biggest issue we are debating over this administration then I'd say we should be more worried about who comes next. If you want to explain to me how my freedoms are being taken from me as a US citizen or will be then please do elaborate. -

What is really left and when did it evolve? If it's something new then never. It's all relative. We could go back to Kennedy but what was that? Obama? Joe slept through the whole thing so I won't mention him 😀 but are they not really left ? -

I do not believe the possibilities of what could happen with the current regime are not real. They are very real. So you cut me to the quick. Perhaps because I try to point out the bias on the left that exists here, which it does. But I do understand the potential dangers. However- I have seen enough of the administration at this point to come to the conclusion that Trump is not going to try and end democracy or establish world dominance. He's a corporate mind and he thinks like a business owner. This doesn't always work well when it comes to politics though- but in some cases it does. As for imminent dangers no - at this time I am going to not put my guard down but be aware that most likely we aren't dealing with a fascist regime. This is open minded thinking. -

When the left is in power the dynamjc changes. Democratic rulers have been assassinated - like Kennedy. But yes I agree due to that fact that the right is more radical it sets them up as bigger targets. -
Inliytened1 replied to Husseinisdoingfine's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
That's because the right isn't going around calling the left fascists. There is a lot more rhetoric coming from the left right now because the right is in power. When the left is in power they become potential targets because they are in power. -

Everyone is next. Beef up security period. But once you start getting into theorizing who could be next you run the risk of giving someone the wrong idea. There is never enough security at these events. -

The contemplation of revenge and who to kill on the left ? Is that enough? There's a Tyler Robinson lurking on every corner. -
Inliytened1 replied to Husseinisdoingfine's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
, if the right wanted revenge and wanted to kill the left wing version of Charlie Kirk, who would they kill? -

We don't condone that stuff here. This type of thinking. Take it somewhere else. -

Ok that's a far cry from wiping a race out via death. This is like saying we should abolish the MMA. -

Read my edited post. You can't blame him directly if he didn't directly initiate it. -
Inliytened1 replied to Husseinisdoingfine's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
You can call him a lot of things. Narcisist. Self centered. Power hungry. Vain. Materialistic. Wealth centered. But a fascist- no. He's not that. Not to be compared with monsters like Hitler. He is not that. And don't give me a bunch of Jan 6th type crap. There is no evidence he orchestrated that directly. Did he play a role in instilling that? Yes. But he was not directly responsible for the same reason @Joshe brought up. The left is no better and as I said look no further than this thread for that evidence. -

And Just where is Trump calling for violence ? We are in a thread about someone speaking their mind on the right that has been struck down. Keep that in mind as you attempt feebily to set the direction of the thread to suit your biases. -

The left is doing the same. Look no further then this very thread.
