Ramana Maharshi. Who else. Solipsism is Truth. It's just too hard to swallow. Who else.

True, all content within reality/infinity/mind. Meaning the things You hear, see, feel, etc. But if reality is infinite and mind not atoms then multiple minds would be multiple realities. But the actual sounds, colors feelings all of that is still reality itself. Perception is really an illusion though because there isnt a perceiver, its just Being. -

No its the opposite. If you dont have atoms..then you have Mind. And what is Mind but appearance without substance. A dream or hallucination. Solpsism as it is taught here contends that there is just one single Mind and not multiple minds because this would break Oneness. -

No you're right i just get frustrated that almost no one gets this stuff But if it was not for your channel I wouldn't have known about it. Even if you can make a difference for one person who stumbles on it, it will be worth it. So thank you for that.

You're right i shouldn't be so pessimistic. I was just in one of those moods 🙃 We always need to keep up the fight. Im glad Leo is out there making a difference.

Who? The podcasts aren't science you need to get in and debate with academia. The other shit is nothing. This YouTube crap won't make a dent.

Spirituality is not for the self, self improvement, or any of that. So these cats that want to improve you while awakening you..its bullshit. To awaken is to die. To self improve is to get further from enlightenment. Lets just get that straight. A teacher like Leo is straight with you about both and brings both to you full force. He is the real deal I can't speak for the others you mentioned. I think Tolle is awakened but I haven't really seen his teachings. Sadhguru might be but he mixed entertainment and personal development together with enlightenment. To me that makes him just an entertainment spectacle. -

Yes absolutely. Eating healthy and staying sober will enhance your spiritual work. Sauna is especially effective in aiding in meditation and meditative states. Stay as clean as you can be. -

Awakening is very much like the Matrix only that you will awaken to realize you were dreaming that you were this self, this form, and all other. It is the mystical realization that you were dreaming all of reality. So..now that's what it is. You can act like its already known but the fact of the matter remains you say your default state is objectivity or the Universe itself or Consciousness itself but did you actually realize it or is it just you conceptualizing about it. -
Inliytened1 replied to Joshe's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No. Its not. Right now you specifically believe you are the self. Awakening is realizing that was an illusion. It is mystical. -

Understanding is not limited to conceptual understanding alone There is something called non-dual understanding that is not conceptual. This is the direct experience and understanding as one. What is omniscience for example? And you forget that there is so much of this God-Understanding that you can handle in finite form. So its the opposite. Because you have to shift back into finite form and then digest it. So you have it backwards. God would set you up for failure if he dropped everything on you at once. Or on himself. -

It was not for me. I realized that the self was an illusion before I realized that all other was also an illusion. So its fine to teach both simultaneously but one should point out that you will not realize everything at once. And teachers often just speak parts of things they dont go into things holistically. Even a teacher that would encompass everything should specify that it won't be realized all at once. The realization of Infinity is even another so the realization is infinite cannot come before that. I dont even know what the realization is infinite even means. No one said any realization was a thought i am speaking about awakening so this is not conceptual. That's the very thing im against would be to take something as a belief would be a thought. -

Just comfort him. Trying to explain something to him now seems pointless. He's going to know soon anyway. -

Both are dangerous if taught as a belief system. But what is have seen from the neo-advaitan teachings it is very much turned into a belief system which makes you question of the ones teachings it came to know it through concept or actuality. A further clarification is that Solpsism the way its taught here does not say there is a you or a self. So it does not contradict the no self premise. -

But this doesn't explain anything and we did talk about it - since you do not consider the science. Your explanation does not resolve anything other than its just there, unfolding without anything. But what you fail to see is this is your logical scientific explanation. You claim there is no science or logic to reality yet you use this to determine your definition of reality. You saying there is no science is the science. There is a foundation to your explanation whether you wish to deny this or not. In your explanation there is a physical universe with atoms and brains and consciousness within the brain right? You cannot escape the science because it is right in front of you with what is assumed to be true. There is assumed to be a physical world. With you over here and other over there. The moon there. The sky there. The planets there. And other people there. -

Each is a separate realization. You do not realize no self and no other simultaneously. So when Ramana references there is no other and I don't need to know his inner thoughts for this..he isn't saying there isnt a self. Same as when Leo talks about it. Language can only cover so much that's why teaching is limited. -
Inliytened1 replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Anything outside of your consciousness is actually inside your own consciousness as God. You are imagining what is outside and inside as God. That is the premise. This cannot be escaped ever ever ever. Ever. -

No Ramana's exolanation doesn't contradict Solpsism. . This doesn't question the self this simply questions other. Just because you are questioning other doesn't mean you arent questioning self at some point. -

@Leo Gura sorry this was wrong. I know how much effort you put into your work. And I know how long this stuff takes. Take you time and we dont mind how repetitive it is. I didnt mean to come off so cruel. Your work is priceless so please continue.

Absolutely. I can use some more meditation in my life haha. But don't feel sad about Oneness it's actually a beautiful thing. The ego can't handle it because it threatens its existence. As the duality of self and other must collapse. But as the higher intelligence you are you should know that this is but an illusion
