  1. Here is some background on the definition of genocide and ethnic cleansing so that we can make sure we are assessing the situation properly. This is from AI. Genocide and ethnic cleansing are both horrific forms of mass violence and persecution targeting specific groups, but they differ primarily in their ultimate goal and legal standing. Genocide: Definition: Defined legally as acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group, as such. Intent: The key element is the intent to destroy the group's existence. Acts: Can include: Killing members of the group. Causing serious bodily or mental harm. Deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to bring about destruction. Preventing births within the group. Forcibly transferring children to another group. Legal Status: A distinct crime under international law, defined in the 1948 Genocide Convention. Ethnic Cleansing: Definition: Refers to the forced removal of an ethnic group from a territory to create an ethnically homogeneous area. Intent: The primary goal is the forced displacement of the group, not necessarily their complete destruction. Methods: Can involve violence and terror-inspiring acts to compel removal, but the intention is to remove, not to exterminate the entire group. Legal Status: Not a distinct crime under international law, but the methods used can be considered war crimes, crimes against humanity, or even genocide depending on the severity and intent. Key Differences: Intent: Genocide focuses on destroying a group, while ethnic cleansing focuses on removing a group from a territory. Legal Definition: Genocide has a defined legal framework under international law, while ethnic cleansing does not. Scope: Genocide targets a group regardless of location, whereas ethnic cleansing is more geographically focused. Overlap: Ethnic cleansing can escalate to genocide if the means used lead to mass destruction of the targeted group, and this outcome was foreseeable and intended. Some scholars argue that ethnic cleansing, especially in its most severe forms, can be considered a type of genocide or a precursor to it. In summary, while both are grave crimes involving attacks on groups, genocide aims for destruction, while ethnic cleansing aims for removal from a specific territory. However, the distinction can be blurred in practice, as severe forms of ethnic cleansing can constitute genocide, and methods used in ethnic cleansing often fall under other categories of international crimes.
  2. Not necessarily. When you sit and do self inquiry you're not desiring anything you are just doing an inquiry
  3. BTW prepare yourself when it actually happens your ego will die and you will be left with only pure awareness. But there will be ego backlash afterwards.
  4. Yes that's it. Thats enlightenment when the realization dawns.
  5. Yes there are always going to be things outside of your control. Thats because as God limits have been placed upon you. By you. Not as the ego but as God. This may piss a lot of people off especially people into Jesus and religion. But what I'm telling you is the Truth.
  6. I believe i went deep. Do you agree that reality is imaginary? If you do then you have to include the physical body.
  7. Well I wasn't disagreeing with what you said I just expanded it for you a bit.
  8. I guess we are all just too slow for you
  9. You could but then you would no longer be in "reality".
  10. Actually that's false. Go with what you were saying. If you truly were able to just be in actuality then pain disappears too. Everything is completely imaginary even your physical body. It's just that we have built our constructs so deep that we think we have to be constrained to physical laws. But they too are imaginary. Even physical suffering. Physical suffering is no different then mental suffering. It's just a construct. A much stronger one but a construct just the same.
  11. Only the most radical anti-war people are willing to cross Trump now. And crossing Trump isn't going to hurt them as much as it would have in the beginning.
  12. Support for Israel is still strong in my estimation but that's because the US and Israel both have tyrants at the helm and it's basically a scramble for power and survival. Iran and its forces arent going to be able to overcome that.
  13. Let's ask @Nivsch what he thinks You still there or holed up in a bunker?
  14. Not enough attention in America for that to be warranted. Sad but true.
  15. I agree with this. This whole endeavor does very little. But it can set Iran back a bit. Thats the real goal. Of course you can start again but when someone erases your scrap board that can be quite frustrating. The US is trying to get under their skin. Don't know if it will work..but that's the extent of this
  16. It's not going to deter Iran if that's what you're saying. But it could make things more difficult for them now that there is an active aim to prevent them.
  17. It's not going to deter Iran if that's what you're saying. But it could make things more difficult for them now that there is an active aim to prevent them. Israel saw what they were doing.
  18. Iran is going to get their ass handed to them. They can build deep underground- but now you have the US prodding around sending bombs. They aren't going to be able to hide the nukes because of the strength of US intelligence. Lucky for the US Iran was already building. So that question is null.
  19. So basically it means nothing. He gets to be a tyrant and continue to be a bully.
  20. This isnt good. We aren't going to be able to get out any time soon now in my opinion. Which is why Trump didn't want to get pulled in. But here we are.
  21. I get you. I think there's really no way to stop AI I think that's the point. My dad took me to see the Terminator when I was like 6 and we thought the machines would never take over. Now it seems like a reality.
