Dude, I literally come from a culture that was historically enslaved by White Europeans. I wasn't taught that white people were bad, just that we Filipinos were historically enslaved by White Christians at one point and we fought for our freedom. At no point in history, did the Philippines do its own version of slavery. Oppression almost always tends to be a one-sided act of cruelty.

Trump spreads an at-the-time unproven drug as a miracle cure for Covid-19 which could potentially have harmful side-effects, and you can't help but whine about people calling out Trump's dangerous incompetence. Currently, the drug has already been proven to be utterly useless against the virus. To suggest otherwise, you would have to delve into conspiracies of partisan motivation of suppressing a supposed truth Trump tried to spread just to make him look bad. And at least spell 'Hydroxychloroquine' properly, copy-paste exists you know.

No, you're just an idiot. I am the Topic Starter of this thread but I literally haven't made any posts on it criticizing Libertarianism besides the starting post. I literally started this thread two weeks ago and the only reason it's still active is because other people, including yourself, keep making new posts on it when I've already long forgotten about it. I was just giving you advice on how to think about Learning. Notice how you distract from it by accusing me of some imagined hypocrisy. Why are you even on this forum if you have no interest in Learning and gaining a deeper understanding of Reality.

There are 2 main types of criticism: Criticism from above, Criticism from below. Basically, judging from a higher understanding vs lack of understanding respectively. Long before starting this thread, I've had an interest in learning about Libertarianism and have exposed myself to many different examples of it. Of course, I could still learn a lot more which is why I also try to moderate how much I criticize it. I'm not 100% ideologically-opposed to Libertarian ideas.

Stop this obsession with criticizing people. You do not understand Democratic Socialism, let alone pure Stage Green Socialism. Focus on having a deep interest in learning about Socialism and contemplate how it fits to the puzzle that is reality. You have a danger of getting lost into ideological group-think.

The Education System is still in a point in its development where they value efficiency more than deep learning. It's a factory creating duplicates instead of a harnessing of each individual's strengths. College is a little different but it has its own issues as well.

Sometimes positive change has collateral damage because of long pent-up emotions. You don't know anything about anyone you've never met. All you saw was a video. Of course, you "imagined his sadness" because for the most part this is all just imagination. You don't know if he's been fine after that video or if he's gone off into the deep end into suicidal thinking. You don't even know if he has a family and children. Classic Stage Blue expectations. This is one of Trump's talking points. And Lara has a strong incentive to defend the president. She also tried to defend Trump's accusation that a TV show host he doesn't like murdered somebody.

All you folks worrying about mainstream media censorship really should think about how sensitive snowflakes you are. Conspiracies are still very prolific in the mainstream space but a small course of action done in a single instance of censorship and you lose your minds. Trump's tweet wasn't even removed, his account wasn't banned, it was just flagged but the resulting reaction from Trumpists, Libertarians, and Trump himself just goes to show how little desire you people have to play fair. Alex Jones gets banned for spreading a dangerous conspiracy that led to innocent families of school-shooting victims getting harassed and suddenly there's an anti-conspiracy bias. Meanwhile right-wing conspiracies continue to gain traction and amass a significant amount of support, bringing many people into conservative ideologies, and somehow the right is being oppressed by left-wing censorship. What Twitter did was bold but not even nearly enough to tackle blatant misinformation. Mark Zuckerberg, known child-molester, has come out and said that social media platforms should not be the "arbiter of truth". Oh did I mention that he's a pedophile?
