Yeh, you better be a pussy than have a mental breakdown. Someone who is smart but not confident is a shy person. Someone who is dumb but confident is a disaster. Someone who is smart and confident is a success. No! Not everyone! This is manipulation from the side of red pill and mgtow community, many manipulators use this 99 % of people, all of your family members, average person etc, it is a very common strategy, you bettter be aware of it. Doing what he wants doesn't mean doing what he needs. Also doing doesn't mean doing mindfully and consciously. When you become more peaceful, there is more mental space for deeper understanding, so you actually know much better what is it that you want to do. As I said before, you need to combine confidence with wisdom, not just one of these traits, Hitler also did what he wanted, you see? -

@themovement Of course they act differently, but they also act the same in many ways. But as far as I know, the people you call alpha males really like to compare themselves to powerful, sometimes carnivorous animals, like tigers, lions, gorillas, bears... Also the scientific term called alpha male comes from zoologists, just as the word swagger does These people don't dominate everybody, they don't dominate in my head or other people's heads on this forum, only you see it like this and that's ok, but it is not necessarily the most enjoyable way to see Reality, or is it? Of course, if some muscular 6,5 feet tall guy assaulted me inside a slum, I would change my behavior in order to survive, but violence also doesn't really cause happiness, nor is it stable, that's why spiral dynamics stages have evolved beyond red. Training martial arts doesn't mean, that you act selfishly, actually, the best martial arts people are incredibly humble. -

@themovement You think that you need to have something else in order to be fulfilled in the future, but have you ever lived in the future to confirm this to yourself? Also watch the video I posted here, the idea that alpha male = bully is completely wrong, if being an alpha male means an enjoyable state in life for you. -
Is there someone else inside your head called the ego? Are you schizophrenic? Is the Godhead not here now? Can you not be satisfied right now?

@Leo Gura Omg I love these Bible quotes -
@StarStruck I also take notes! You can find them at the Actualized.org video summaries thread.
-
This is true, but why do you want to torture yourself like this? Is somebody else doing this to you? It is because of your life situation?
-
Consciously healing diseases. He also taught this ability to many people.

@Buba Who said you can't? -
@StarStruck All these things are relative. As you mentioned, there might be a situation, where you would want to sacrifice your life, maybe if the secret police went to capture you and your family in the war or something like that. You have to defend your country only if there is danger and only if you actually want to defend it and have a reason for it. And some people just don't want to enrich themselves. High consciousness view point is love. If you love yourself, then you also don't want to sabotage yourself and others, because it causes you suffering. But if you want to suffer, go ahead.
-
How can it not contradict? You are trying hard to survive here.
-
@Leo Gura Do you think the healing effects might be similar to the thing Wim Hof has achieved?
-
You know it, but you do things wrong in practice Why are you doing that?

Do you guys meditate before reading spiritual books? -
Being turquoise doesn't make your brain have an infinite capacity It's not like you remember stuff. I would say that green can understand how others feel, which affects their situation in life, but they still hate many of the stages. Yellow then understands all of the colours, how they see the world, on many different levels. And then I don't know where yellow ends and turquoise starts really, but I don't think it makes you into a person, who doesn't know what to pursue because of some mental mess, even though that can be the case. I guess the best thing you can do is to work on yourself as hard as possible, because if you want to help others, you mustn't be a hypocrite and you better not bullshit other people, that's why you need to be developed yourself. There is not a clear distinction between selfishness and selflessness. Selfish behavior can be a selfless behavior in an indirect way and vice versa. I think that if you interact with people and you understand, that they are God and that they have some survival strategy, that is working for them and you love that - then you can start understanding people on a whole new level in my opinion, but it takes a lot of concentration and awareness. I think @Serotoninluv talked on this forum about turquoise compassion
-
@DivineSoda I try to interact with others with intense concentration and compassion, no matter who they are.
-
@Psyche_92 I solved this problem by realizing, that presence is a more valuable thing to go for and it even makes me more stable, conscious, compassionate and loving, therefore better prepared for a relationship. I think Maslow and Grof talked about this? I am not really sure, I don't want to spread desinformation and also I have been with 1 woman in my life and I am also 16

I am also a teenager and I've always been hesitant to go to parties, especially with alcohol. I was on my first alcohol party this year and I didn't want to drink anything there. Of course my friends put something into my drink and I felt it, but I was just too humble (this sounds weird) and affraid to pour it out, so I said to myself, that if I try it this one time, it doesn't matter. I was one of the few who did not get drunk at that party, but I still had this effect, where my shame levels dropped and it felt like a mystical experience and I actually integrated this later on, so I don't regret it... Also all of the people who got drunk there realized, that they are not doing any party with alcohol again, (they went to tell me) so I was happy to give them this lesson

@winterknight Why exactly do you put so much emphasis on freudian psychoanalysis? -
See Leo's video on understanding relativism. He talks a lot about compassion and understanding others there.
-
@Psyche_92 Maybe you have it associated with some negative event from the story of your past, which would lead to the things others have said.
