  1. I used my phone quite a bit to browse the forums and I often find myself tagging or quoting somebody in a reply I then decide against doing. The problem is on my phone if I try to delete it like any text it just doesn't work and so I'm stuck with a cached draft unless I open in incognito or something. Any simpler solutions?
  2. I am using Chrome this whole time and have this issue. Unfortunately doesn't work. What keyboard are you using? Perhaps it's the fact I am using SwiftKey.
  3. Very situational. At the end you do what you want. You are gonna have to find the balance for yourself in every situation.
  4. @TheAvatarState It is that way because it can. There is literally no restriction. No limit. That is what it means to be infinite.
  5. Work on your contemplation.
  6. Sounds like you already know the answer to this.
  7. You didn't and won't solve those concerns. This problem doesn't get solved by debating it with other people.
  8. What was the motive behind posting this?
  9. Contemplate about it more. Thoughts are actuality as in they are something being experienced but that is not what is being said. It's about getting lost in all the concepts you attribute to thoughts. The experience or thoughts and experience of projecting thoughts onto actuality is actuality but the projection does not describe actuality.
  10. Yes definitely. That desire is a part of the truth after all. The pursuit of truth is mainly unwiring a lot of things you've been programmed to do and think. It doesn't make you experience anything different but the perception and perspective does change. It's a recontextualization.
  11. Agreed. I wouldn't be trying to figure out the workings of the mind and the ego if it wasn't because there is a desire to do so. It's not a matter of whether you are or are not delusional it is a matter of how delusional you are.
  12. It's only pointless if you want it to be. You are here to experience. You could call anything pointless. If this is an experience you want to have then go for it. You learn and grow.
  13. Definitely! I've had this insight too. Glad to see you have! Concepts are pointers but you'll never get it until you know where in your direct experience it leads to. Many people don't follow the pointers.
  14. I'd take some survival classes. Takes time to learn to hunt and be able to build with nearby resources.
  15. Be able to look through the self and no self lens simultaneously and the vision of striking balance becomes much easier.
  16. This is probably the last thing I expected to get posted on these forums.
  17. Sounds like you are over thinking it. Before enlightenment chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment chop wood, carry water. You can break out of cultural indoctrination great. Now your motive can be centered around what you want to do instead of what they want you to do. If you don't understand reality then that's great! Because you never will in its entirety. At least as an ego. Learn to accept that you won't. There's nothing to ground to. You have this experience you are living. Do what you want with it. Make a map of your desires and decide how you want to solve it. But in the end reality does you so release control.
  18. The Kyballion would probably be a good read for you. It too discusses the principle of gender as you describe it.
  19. Reputation is beneficial but to have it at the top priority list is setting yourself up for failure and suffering. Do some hard inquiry about values and why you feel like you need a good reputation. There is likely something much deeper that you are trying to compensate for.
  20. @Alex bAlex Consider judgment as someone following rules and refuses to break or change them. Consider opinion as someone deciding what they want to wear that day. I'm pointing out the assertion of concrete vs malleable.
  21. They aren't lesser beings. Ego is what causes the perception of that. Plenty of spiritual people think they got it figured out cling and demonize those who aren't on the same path. There is no right path. Wrong is relative. The only reason to find truth is because you want to.
  22. Depends on the music and its impact on you. Some genres can help me sit back and just be in the present. I feel more than I think.
  23. Depends on the lens you are looking through.
  24. Answer to that is simple. You do what you want to do. Live how you want to live. With meaninglessness you could say why bother but you could also say why not. That's the beauty of it.
  25. Everybody else pretty much nailed it but man that stuff happens all the time. I've had drunk friends cry on my leg about their home life. I've had drunk friends stumble around and me have to carry them half naked to the bathroom. I've been the drunk friend that passes out and vomits on the floor as people try to make sure I don't choke then gets carried to a bathtub. I've been that drunk friend that vomits all over the couch. Anybody with experience with alcohol will probably have been on both sides like I have. And that's why it is no problem. Because all of us understand. And through that you look out for one another. Yeah you'll get a few prods over your funny drunk stories but you aren't the first or the last who will have such memorable nights.
