Yes and no. Stop seeing the duality of free will vs predetermined and you'll see it collapses into the same thing. It is simultaneously both at once. They represent different perspectives of the same thing.

Be careful about that duality as spiritual is physical and vice versa in actuality.

Instead of citing the Bible, seek out to directly experience what it says. You can't understand Jesus' teachings through mental masturbation.

@Belay kelemework There is no underworld entity its all a big metaphor. The devil can't be separate from God because it is one with God. So therefore it creates these dualities to deceive itself into being separate. Sounds a lot like the ego doesn't it? Everything is 'spirit' deriving from the same source.Some people like to see God and the devil in a light/dark duality but you always have to keep in mind those collapse into total oneness and unity.

Inquire for yourself instead of trying to get the answers handed to you. It will be much more rewarding that way.

Mindfulness of ones self is how I do this. We often may blindly follow our thoughts. Think of thought loops on psychedelics. You just keep following and can't seem to 2nd question or break it. Its good to step back before replying and ask if what came to mind is actually solving the problem you are trying to tackle. Usually giving answers isn't helpful to them in the same way its not too helpful in spirituality because for the answer to be useful or make sense the individual has to come to that realization. Its like giving someone the answer to a math problem without them understanding how you got to that answer. You gotta work through it step by step.

You'll always have this risk no matter how far you go. This is a risk you'll always have to take counseling people. Its not a matter of if you are or are not ignorant but how ignorant. Remember to keep your empathy and compassion in check. Think back to any issues that were hard for you that are a breeze for you now to help understand the hard place they are in. You are here to help them navigate a maze.

I would like to know how much experience you have where you feel this kind of advice is correct. Because I am betting that your experience is incredibly limited.

Do both in a single session. Use the music to help ease you in, have the music on a limited timer to stop say 1/3 or half way through.

I wouldn't say its impossible but you likely would never do it. Everything you do is meant to accomplish some kind of purpose. Even if its doing the dishes you hate so much so your parents won't nag you to do it. What you do outlines your priorities. You'd only eat a glass of shards if there was some kind of benefit whether thats winning a dare, getting attention, or getting money. Thats why so many successful people say if you want to be successful you have to REALLY want it. Not just half ass want it. People can put hundreds of hours to be good into a video game, but imagine if all that motivation went into being successful?

I always tried to tell I am dreaming in my dreams by identifying things that were highly unlikely to occur in my usual day. Dreaming aside, I have no memory of a higher dream, so I am fully convinced its real just like a lot of times in my dreams. So it begs the question how is real any different?

Sounds like you are scared of getting abandoned and so you close others out and fall back on yourself. You hold others as too unreliable and untrustable.

It affects more of what the closest word to describe what you saw would be. Simulation isn't too far off of an answer.

I see truth kernels there but I'd be very wary of believing anything you haven't already found yourself.

Don't act on the thoughts just observe them. Thoughts are an experience you don't have to blindly follow just like you don't react to every sensation you feel or smell you smell.

Free will and predetermination are the same thing

Any word is somewhat deceptive in of itself. Because we try to create a mutual consensus of word meanings but it's really not. It's all relative. That's why we always have to explain what we mean to match meanings up. Buddhists may say there is no God but what do they mean by God? May not be the same thing as the meaning you use.

It doesn't matter what you call it. It's bologne to anybody who doesn't understand what you are pointing to. If you say anything other than God you'll get bunched up with being compared to new age bs or some other strawman.

And they build on a flimsy foundation. The couples who do make it past high school and even the ones that start the first year after high school, people rush into marriage and you can guess how 99% of those marriages played out..

When words target your fears and traumas, it can illicit a reaction of hurt because we actively run away from fears and traumas. They are there for us to want to avoid them. When you transcend them there is nothing there for them to target.

"Extremist Green" is essentially what the US calls the far left and sjws. And although their intent represents a sort of green humanitarian idea, the way they go about it is very blue authoritarian.
