  1. Awesome, will check it out thanks
  2. @StarStruck Even from 1 hit? I'd understand if that was for a heavy user but it's been a couple days now for me and I feel like I'm back to normal. I was lazy the day after but it could have been the lack of sleep as much as the cannabis after-effects.
  3. @Bryanbrax Receiving reiki sessions from a good practitioner is amazing for emotional healing. An excellent, excellent tool for me. I've taken courses to practice reiki as well (till level 2/4) but I would honestly say it hasn't provided any value for my growth. Maybe it's right for your path tho, who knows. Just be warned, most reiki masters I've met are at stage green, are not highly developed themselves and do not see the bigger picture of how reiki is just a tool on the path and not a practice for enlightenment in and of itself.
  4. I'm 21 but most people in these studies were heavy abusers for several years starting from their early teens. These are people that use it in ways that fuel their unconsciousness, it numbs their mind as they get high to drown themselves in sensual pleasures (food, sex, video games, mixing with other drugs like alcohol, etc). I'll be using it once a month in quite low doses in a retreat-like setting.
  5. Cheers mate, I guess I'll do a max of 1 trip every 3 weeks just to be on the safe side. Tbh I'll probably end up tripping once a month as psychedelics make my sleeping issues worse and it takes a day or 2 to recover my sleep debt and get my schedule back on track. (I ended up sleeping at 6 am for this trip lol)
  6. @StarStruck How long does it take for me to go back to baseline tolerance after a weed trip?
  7. @StarStruck Agreed. Most 'potheads' are deluding themselves. I will use it wisely, thanks for the warning.
  8. @docs20 buy his book list. See his meditation techniques section, there is a textbook that will give you a base. Reading it on an online forum isn't broad enough of a foundation, you'll understand why once you can do the techniques. After you finish the textbook' 1st initiation, read the other kriya books on the list.
  9. Can anyone tell me Gamana's kriya pranayam? (not the crown variant please, just the third eye one thanks) I left my book in another country D: I'm looking to change things around in my routine a little bit
  10. A friend of mine will take lsd in the next coming days or so. As you read from the title, he has epilepsy and is on medication for it. I've warned him to be careful but he'll do what he wants in the end. Any advice would be much appreciated.
  11. @Matt8800 Could you give us some tips on using psychedelics such as shrooms and lsd? What are some of the protocols you take when tripping? How do you set intentions? Do you perform any cleansing rituals beforehand, and must you stay within that space throughout the trip like some shamans claim? Also, are there any occult practices in the days before tripping to prepare+after for integration?
  12. He mentions that his large scale studies have been initiated. Seems like the psychedelic Renaissance will happen in the next coming decades indeed!
  13. What a typical mystic answer....I need to ask a clairvoyant On a serious note, yeah you're right. After all, even some yogic process is said to be based on the purification of the elements (buta shuddhi etc)
  14. @Matt8800 Is it possible one can gain control over the elements such as fire and air-to the point where you could will a flame into existence? How would one go about mastering this?
  15. You've once mentioned that you interviewed one of sadhguru's 'advanced students' and that he didn't even know what enlightenment was which was a huge red flag. After a little research I found that although they are a linear progression his 'advanced courses' vary greatly. SG mentions several times that the first of his 3 advanced courses are for people who want to enhance their wellbeing (Bhava Spandana). Only the last course (Samyama) is meant for a seeker aka the real deal. Did the interviewee complete Samyama? Or only some of the earlier advanced courses? And how about you? Have you completed Samyama or know anyone who has? If so, how do you find it?
  16. @SunnyNewDay No idea, but there are plenty of books on 'psychedelic psychotherapy'. They might be worth looking into
  17. Funny how much of this coincides with nondual theory but horribly misinterpreted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oX2xFo7JA4
  18. I struggle with the same issue, nothing really worked until I went to a vipassana retreat. The weeks that followed afterwards I was eating my food without watching anything and have never enjoyed it more. Of course it didn't last though, but hopefully it will stick as i keep progressing....
  19. I've just read 'Inner Engineering' by Sadhguru in which he touches upon the different kinds of Yogas. First of all he mentions that you need a guru to guide you in the path of kriya as it is a path that emphasizes on the mastery of your body energies and its mechanics, hence you need someone to show you as opposed to gnana yoga for example. Second of all he mentions that you need to be initiated into the kriya, otherwise they will not 'work' when you practice and may take you many lives to get 'liberated'. He specifically mentions not to learn it from a book as we do here on actualized.org. Although Sadhguru is the real deal Gurus are renowned for being biased towards their traditions. I've been seeing tangible results with kriya and will continue as its the best tool I have so far but I'd like to know if it's viable for awakening.
  20. You spend a lot of time writing these replies. Know that it really does help. Thank you Nahm.
  21. I deliberately chose not to post it there because this goes beyond the scope of Kriya. Its a poor title in hindsight. This topic is relevant to all the forms of laya yoga including kundalini yoga as well as any type of yoga that is trypically taught with initiation. I will link this topic there.
  22. If this is true then there are plenty of energy practitioners capable of initiation. Check this out-http://wildfrau.com.au/ My kundalini is not hyper but it definitely isnt dormant either so I guess I'm fine without one.
