They are saying that after started writing dreams down, they suddenly stopped dreaming altogether. To me it sounds like low dream awareness, what is your opinion? @HuliaMany strains of marijuana lower dream awareness, so I was just trying to eliminate possibilities. I'm happy you are sober ? -

It sounds like your dream awareness is super low. Do you meditate? Practice awareness checks? Smoke pot? -

OK, my experience with dreams is similar, but what happened once you started writing them down? You feel like you lost some memory connection to your wonderland? What about your overall dream awareness? Do you know you dreamed but just can't think of what it was about? Or does it feel like you no longer dream? -

That's a bit strange... Could you elaborate? Were you remembering them pretty well before you started writing them down? -

Hi there, thanks for calling. My first answer would be to learn to enter a dream consciously and on demand. But since this could potentially take weeks, months, or years to accomplish, I also suggest all of the attraction practices. To start, please answer the introductory questions : Do you have vivid dreams on a regular basis? Have you had a lucid dream before? Why do you want to lucid dream? How much work are you willing to put into lucid dreaming more frequently, or even on demand? (very advanced) -

That looks cool. I downloaded for Android. The chaining alarm sounds neat, I'll try that one out. -

Well why question the obvious? There's got to be much better explanations out there, right? ? -

@Hulia since I can only speak from direct experience, I've only truly ever found myself. Not @seeking_brilliance but a type of myself that persists throughout any dream, regardless of what the memory story is. When I see leo, it's fun to believe there's a leo talking to me, but simultaneously I know I'm seeing more of a dream character. There are shapes, colours, movement and audio, and I call it a 'Leo'. It even seems to call itself that. But I only see in mirrors. Therefore, I only see more of myself(or whatever) not really some Leo figure. Can apply this ad infinitum... -

Haha honestly I don't know much about Jung or much for that matter. I typically pull answers out of my own ass and call it intuition -

Last night I spontaneously realized I was dreaming. Too lazy to do anything about it, I just decided to continue with the story line already playing out. I was part of a team, like a ragtag investigation team or some stuff... And we were actually on our way to a meeting where higher ups would vote on whether to disband us or not. The team was waiting out in a lobby and I came up to the huddle and said 'hey we're dreaming!' We were standing in front of a vending machine, so to prove that it was a dream, I made some candy fly up and out of the machine. Then we went and looked in on the meeting and I willed the old men to say 'yes' (to keeping us). Lost lucidity shortly after.

@Hulia autopilot can work for you the more purified it is of social conditioning. Don't be so quick to demonise it -

Maybe because they are too used to having things explained to them -

This seems to be steering towards separation. Why can't it be all like you said but without the 'happening as separate events' part? -

Sometimes laziness -
For context?
