@Leo Gura what is the most scary thing you have seen or realised on mushrooms? -
Do you guys think that the Wim Hof and kriya would be a good combo? Cold showers are awesome when you combine them with yoga but i dont know about the breathing part.

When it comes to being present in the moment whitch is more effective meditation or cold showers?

Do you guys think if a stage orange businessman after enlightenmend would still hold his business as his life purpose?

Hello everyone Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most fameous artists and engineers of all times. He was a real genius because his wisdom was not limited to only art. I think he had some very deep insights about life according to his quotes. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else. -Leonardo da Vinci The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding. -Leonardo da Vinci At his time art was heavily influenced by the catholic churc whitch had a lot of power on artists at that time. Do you guys think Leonardo found Christ within himself and tried to express it with the limitations of that society?

@kieranperez thanks ill check it out. That sounds dope. Ill start it slow with 2g of mushrooms and i think about dealing with little issus like "what other people think of me". This is not a big deal for me but i still can integrate i think.
-
@Leo Gura yes one has to face his fears at some point. Thank you
-
@Leo Gura yes i see how that can be true. I actualy found an interview of sadhguru talking about ayahuasca. He says that it has no spiritual benefits. https://isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/ayahuasca-parasitic-purging Do you think that he is not looking at psychadelics from the right perspective? I say this because he has not tried ayahuasca as far as i know.

@Leo Gura do you think that this can happen to yogis too, if they isolate themselves just practicing yoga?

Hello guys recently I've been contemplating on what masculinity realy is. To me masculinity doesnt look like an energy or force. When i compare myself with a the oppoite sex i dont see a difference in terms of energy. I dont think there is much difference in a male and female besides the body structure, sexual compulsions and some superficial behaviours that are conditioned by society. So what is masculinity? Is it just a sexual compulsion? The more i work on my consciousness the more disidentified i get from my body. (One process that realy helps with this is just observing the body) And as i do this the more ridiculous the idea of masculinity gets while you realise that you are not your sexuality. There is a very big amount of people who think that masculinity means something. Eliot Hulse has talked a lot about this topic. He has some interesting ideas but i dont think he knows what he is talking about.

@Serotoninluv i also think you shouldnt try it because it can be poisonous but this does not mean it has no value. I dont think datura is important in realisation eiter, this is something that has more to do with the occult side of spirituality, but still it is not sinister. This is why i think is different from other psychedelics.

Hello everyone, I ve done some research on Datura the psychadelic plant and this seems very intriguing to me. There are some hindu cultures that use datura for occult purposes or black magic. Also the trip reports of datura seem pretty strange. I wonder it can affect our reality in a physical level i mean to manifest external events. Datura can be very dangerous though definetly not a beginner thing. https://thethirdwave.co/psychedelics/datura/
-
@Serotoninluv no im not ready to try datura but if you have experience with it please share it.
-
@kieranperez mushrooms are perfect for asking questions. You can try dmt and ask the elves but they dont apear everytime.
-
@Serotoninluv well when i talk about datura im not just fantasizing. I have done some research on it and have found some comonalities in other people trip reports. Just because i have no direct experience with datura doesnt mean what i say is not true or has no value.
-
@Serotoninluv datura deserves more attention in the spiritual community and more research, im not comparing it with other drugs. Datura is the only psychadelic that i found to be used by yogis. Dosent DMT look flashy to you? Be honest with me do you think most of the people take it to raise theire consciousness or to see aliens? Im not saying that is not is not useful but most people dont know how to make use of it properly.

@Shadowraix in low doses they seem to have some similarities actualy. Yea salvia is much safer for sure. One common thing they have is that none of them gives you a plesant experience, or very rarely does. This is one reason that people are not drown to them. People like flashy things like DMT , acid or ayahuasca, not that they are not great. I think they are great but people in general do not know the true pontential of plants like Datura. I think that there is alot of unexplored potential of datura because in tantric tradition it is linked to lord Shiva. Those yogis dont trip to have a pleasant trip, they trip to learn and they're serious about it.
-
I think salvia is more like dmt in the sense that it shoots you out of the body in other realms and in datura trip reports these people dont even know that they re tripping. They are in the body but they react to the environment very differently, for example they talk to people who are not there. They might be at home physicaly but they think they are at work and for them this seems like mondain reality. The memory of the trip is usualy vanished after the experience. Of course, datura trips dont seem to be the scariest though. They are very wierd and strange but people dont seem to suffer it as much in comparison to other psychedelics. You will barely remember your trip. Maby thats because you suffer so much that is unbarable for the mind to remember, we realy dont know.
-
@outlandish yea it is dangerous but at the and of the day all plants are teachers. I think there is value in datura if you work with someone who realy knows this plant like a shaman. As i said it is used by yogis in tantric tradition. I would asume you can still find people in india who know how to use it. Also there are shamans who mix datura with ayahuasca. Yea one should not use it without guidance though.
-
You can ask it on your mind. I think it might give you some insight like what is holding you back from your life purpose. Life purpose is a very broad thing to talk about. I dont belive it will tell you things like you got to be a baker because you are good at baking, that would be ridiculous.
-
Thank you guys no i will not take it. Datura is used in the tantric yoga to "call the dieties" they say. I highly suspect that you can come to contact with crystalised consciousness forms such as Kali. Sadhguru talks a little about this aspect of occult of tantra. This seems to be one of those thinks that make you or brake you. Working with forms such as Kali is dope though.
