  1. My bad, I had him mixed up with Peter Ralston, they both look alike
  2. I dont think the idea of "previous lives" aligns itself with non-duality. We all share the same soul, my previous life is all lives that exist, existed and will exist.
  3. You interviewed GP Walsh and he himself had a semi-spontaneous awakening, of course I am aware that a lot of study and contemplation goes into it, and I recall you talking in one of your videos about a woman that had the realization of oneness out of the blue and it took her quite a while to understand what went through her.
  4. In Leo's video [Why Reality CANNOT Be A Simulation - A Clear Answer], he argues that reality cannot be a simulation and that anyone who entertains on such ideas are deluding themselves & not understand non-duality. He goes on further down-playing several well-known academics for subscribing to such "silly" ideas. First of all, no one is arguing that reality itself is a simulation, rather, our experience of reality existing inside a simulation is very well inside the grounds of possibility. For Leo to argue against this would be a contradiction on his views on infinity, you see, if reality is infinite in its possibilities, we then cannot throw away the possibility of beings/entities having a conscious experience inside a supercomputer. In other words, we are not saying reality = simulation, rather, simulations are just one of the infinite pieces of reality, and we might as well be living inside one without knowing it.
  5. I agree with you, my point still stands. I believe in non-duality, and I also believe there's a chance we live inside a computer.
  6. @Derek White Oh I agree, its good that he wants to push matrix fans further down the rabbit hole, further than they thought they knew, its just that the video did come off a little bit patronizing which is uncharacteristic of him. Simulation theory is a wonderful subject and is not in fight with non-duality.
  7. @Leo Gura Yes you can become conscious of it, but it doesn't change the fact that we may live inside a simulation inside infinity. I just dont see why you made an hour and a half video mocking this notion and calling it a lowly materialistic paradigm. One can believe in both non-duality and simulation theory simultaneously. Arguing against this would be like saying you cant believe in both non-duality and astronomy.
  8. Skeptic here, I dont believe in the paranormal but I still find the subject fascinating, it just seems that, in the end, most of these things end up being easily debunked. Is there anyway you can prove these powers to me?
  9. Its gonna suck, the first one was lightning in a bottle
  10. Hi Leo Does this all mean that the past and the future are not real? Before yesterday's video I thought everything was "information", and as such, past and future events are eternally stored somewhere.
  11. Leo argues that god is all good and loving, and that evil only exists from the human's point of view. I was not convinced by his arguments as endearing as they may be. One could also argue that love and kindness only exists from the human's point of view as well, by that logic. If reality emerges out of a perfectly balanced oscillation of distinctions (big-small / feminine-masculine /black-white / hot-cold-...) wouldn't all the things that we perceive as "negative" have equal value or importance in the grand scheme of it all? It would make more sense for truth to be neutral (point zero) instead of love.
  12. A very interesting video showcasing one of the traps of enlightenment. See for yourself. The comments are praising him for telling the fashion-icon world how deluded they are, from another perspective, Jim Carrey went to an event, uninvited as far as I am aware, just to mock everyone in it for celebrating a passion he doesn't share. Is this what a woke person would do?
  13. stage turquoise shouldn't contain lyrics
  14. Monument valley looks kinda neat, got to try that out
  15. AHA! I noticed your egoic mind squirm at the title. Tut, tut! But I am serious here. We have threads about music, why not about videogames? So heres my list: 1- Everything: A journey in which you transfer your consciousness into every-thing in the universe, narrated by Allan Watts. It doesn't get more non-dual than this. 2- Journey: Most of you already know this one, the game that challenged preconceptions about games as art, and good news, it will come soon to PC. 3- ABZU: Another beautiful and enchanting journey into the ocean by some of the same guys that worked on Journey. 4- GRIS: Just launched, a bit more platformy than the other ones, but a living-piece of art nonetheless. These games are minimalist at its core and designed to immerse you into its visuals and music. Hopefully this will bring attention to those hidden gems out there.
  16. Well most of those go against the purpose of this thread I think. Mmorpgs and action games are entertaining, sure, but games like Journey offer something much in-tune with the realm of spirituality and contemplation.
  17. You are feeding the negative thoughts way too much. But thank you, I sometimes think similarly and reading your post feels almost like watching this aspect of myself in third person, I can now identify those thoughts and feed them less now.
  18. Morpheus, we gonna need more blue pills in here!
  19. If you want to make the most out of your psychedelics and have a true spiritual experience, there is only one correct answer: Heilung
  20. I clicked expecting to cringe, but this is perhaps the most valuable thread in years here. Unlike others in the path, I sense no delusion in your words. Thanks for sharing your insights with us.
  21. I for one am not entirely sure if I have seen the Ox or not. Took ayahuasca and it took me into a surreal journey into the realms of the abstract, great love, a mystical experience through and through. Took mushrooms and it showed me dream-like visions similar to ayahuasca, I felt immense love and respect, and overwhelming divinity inside me. Took LSD and it showed me how reality, time and perception can bend and stretch into unfathomable proportions. Then took 5-Meo-DMT... and my experience was black nothingness, as if I ceased to exist for some minutes and I was reduced to blank awareness. No emotions tho, I did not panicked nor did I felt any joy, it just happened. I came out of it feeling underwhelmed to be honest, but it was nonetheless a very interesting experience.
  22. Okay I have to ask Even if Bashar speaks some variation of truth, why go to him when there are so many other non-dual teachers that dont sully spirituality by selling magical crystals?
  23. To quote a suicide survivor “I instantly realized that everything in my life that I’d thought was unfixable was totally fixable—except for having just jumped.”
