  1. I’ll have to watch your spirituality video again and report back i didn’t find spirituality, it found me I’m curious if you’ve explored “Breatharianism” id have to assume you’ve explored it to at least a minor degree
  2. I like it ? more hours put into a passion the more wisdom gained Yes I equate flow state to awareness that goes beyond self awareness because it is completely detached
  3. Okay but intentional, thanks, repetition is the mother of skill, my big passion is soccer/football. Chess has also fascinated me, but I never really put in the time. I have family who did so I appreciate it
  4. @RickyBalboa oh, cool. my bad this experience does sound like anxiousness/discomfort in simply being silent around others, probably coming from insecurity. Your reason for this topic is probably trying to figure out ways to deal with your insecurity by focusing on others. Maybe not, but the deeper you get to know yourself the for evident body language becomes. Hope i didn't offend you, i really liked how well you described those situations
  5. @Anderz you misunderstood me. I do disagree with her perspective, but from the information and set of beliefs she holds, I understand how and why she sees things that way. She's a hoot
  6. @RickyBalboa hmm maybe my first post didn't resonate much with ya. Maybe you'd like to check out this short clip on belly breathing, quite informative, it will be of value in going deeper into the root problems of anxiety and fear. Cheers
  7. more thoughts on insight/running running/cold showers/activity that cause blood circulation/breathing all seem to trigger a mental reset or clearing of the mind. From here it is easier to tap into INSIGHTS relating life to itself without there being a you, narrowing the focus to perception from a sense of self
  8. “I’m an atheist/agnostic/skeptic, isn’t spirituality just broad name for religions or mysticism?” “Enlightenment? I’ve never really heard of that before, sounds like a fairy tale from eastern religions” “awakening? Sounds like a midlife crisis” “all is one? You must be referring to the “soul” within all life on earth” “I don’t know what spirituality is but existential questions kind of scare me ? “
  9. Wow. This is a cool topic, thank you for sharing your experiences. First off, I’ll just share my thoughts on why you like to face people who start speaking to you. It is your fear, your focus on them and this subconsciously triggers them to sense how you’re perceiving them in the interaction. This is why it is said people act like our mirror, literally projections of us. You’re so worried about how they are seeing things that you neglect your own intentions or rather make their presence your concern So I encourage becoming more aware of your own intentions and overall level of confidence. Social anxiety stems from being too focused up in the head, so grounding yourself can really help with reducing the amount of anxiety you feel. The anxiety is thought and feelings from certain beliefs you hold related to yourself and surroundings. These can be changed eventually recreated to desired way of expressing yourself
  10. Deliberate, I like it. In other words, no zoned out, trance like, repetitive playing? I played the saxophone growing up and all the playing has always been very rigid. Wasn’t quite able to allow for fluid expressive jazz like art with the music. It’s sad cuz I know that’s surely what makes it a true passion
  11. Running was learned at a young age so it often doesn't require much mental processing, however, any other physical activity can become this way with enough practice and often relational, inner work/body awareness. Posture is interesting. If you've seen martin ball's videos on some of his yoga poses and stuff, especially for doing psychs, it appears to go along with "opening" chakras and stuff, which may result in the insights. You can briefly view this video if you want to see some of what im talking about "bilateral symmetry" so fascinating edit: ⚠️ holy shit be careful with this video, if you haven’t done any sort of psychedelics it could be terrifying
  12. it is a measure of how we choose to express and identify ourselves, our unique expression
  13. Movement is all powerful form of meditation for me. My greatest meditative states have been during various less structured forms of fitness (weight lifting, playing soccer, yoga, rock climbing, swimming)Occasionally ill tune into the "running channel". I don't particularly like running so much on it's own possibly because i would rather be chasing a ball. Perhaps what makes running so powerful for insights is the conditioning aspect. It forces more breathing, often deeper breathes. In every form of phsycal activity, to use the breath as an anchor for grounding and creating space between thoughts and for awareness, there's going to be certain freedom. Freedom to exist with existing, simply energy in motion
  14. I hope you didn't find this offensive It sounds pretty dumb, but it seems wise with a step back. Sometimes i cannot hold back, and it's quite funny ill later realize and laugh at myself for saying certain things/making assumptions. This is something i have learned to do and it makes me proud i don't need to beat myself up for making mistakes You're doing great, you can be proud of your apparent "effortless" progress Keep doing what your doing, have a great trip
  15. perhaps Williamson is being a little too bold, too cocky with her truth? Touching on vaccines was a big mistake...perhaps she doesn't see where her nation is at on the spiral That woman cracks me up, but has a completely valid perspective
  16. Yes it will when you don’t force it. Sounds like a good feeling to continue investigating. The mind likes to cling to thought but does thought run the mind, or does thought and mind divide itself and run along emotion... it’s not bad but boy does it drag us along if we don’t SEE the whole process as one ☝️
  17. Perhaps it is a beautiful kind of sad, so much appreciation, mix of various perspectives, in love with every one of them ? sort of like a feeling beyond words, beyond feelings
  18. In other words mastery of oneself is the true mastery of any skill true mastery being everchanging/evolving/varying performance that arises with the loss of oneself in an activity/skill
  19. You’re off topic, this is about skills and mastery. If you don’t have experience to share than that’s okay, how do you define or describe mastery?
  20. @Anderz surely is an amusing video, only a few min in. I am fairly new to Marianne but i have liked what ive seen from her. Some here in the forum say she's too advanced but never underestimate the new agery sprouting up, perhaps the no votes will go to her (probably unlikely but we can dream)
  21. @Lay_Zen_Licious every relationship has something hidden to teach us about ourselves, often it’s only hidden from our current perspective. They tend to reflect on our early childhood experiences and learned ideas about how to interact and communicate with a partner. Keep experiencing and you will grow to realize how you wish to define your role in relationships
  22. @Anderz my lifestyle doesn’t currently suit Breatharianism either. Have you heard of Ray Maor? I do like what he has to say about it. UBI could very well begin to pull society out of the rat race capitalistic lifestyle bringing more hands together to change and improve the systems/infrastructures.
  23. Synchronicities, haha Pulled this dead fellow out of the car Wednesday
