  1. I have heard the everpresent awareness to be referred to as ‘headlessness’ I’d forget about the states for it is the identification with thinking and non-thinking which blocks out the wholeness of being in sports nonattachment is what often leads to what we might call flow states or playing in the zone
  2. No don’t have access but maybe I will sometime modafinil does impact sleep. And for me sleep wasn’t possible on a shroom trip.
  3. Cool so what are the sleep pills for? Also “making an effort” can also equate to subtle anxiety/mind chatter but I think I understand what you mean (creating more carefree habits). If anything maybe a pre-sleep meditation routine to let go, but I wouldn’t make them strict time bound. Probably more spontaneous day by day when necessary i seem to remember Nahm spoke of one where you focus attention on feeling from head to toe, listen for 3 different sounds and I am not sure what else but it was more for simply encouraging sleep
  4. @Flatworld CrusadesObserve your thoughts: stress anxiety worry? It could be as simple as you were able to let go of any sort of mental focus on anything going on in your life. When I’m completely surrendered, having no thoughts I’ll vanish whether asleep or not and this tends to equate to amazing dreamless sleep
  5. On a day you micro-dose would you be able to take a nap in the middle of the day like if you were behind on sleep or something
  6. yea I guess so. Could you take a nap?
  7. @dimitri“5-Leo” ? @CharlotteI am curious do you experience any sort of hullicanations or seeing with eyes shut micro-dosing? Btw definitely envious of that last workshop, great share ?
  8. No I believe it’s a different mode of operation all together. Like instinctually protecting the heard and keeping a order for survival. They don’t even perceive as humans do. Dog for example won’t show guilt or remorse for attacking their owner if instinctively triggered
  9. @Angelo John Gage @Flatworld CrusadesIt’s interesting, your discussion. I believe animals appear to exhibit jealousy but that it doesn’t serve the same function as it does for humans. Jealousy is indeed a “natural” emotion for us and if it is felt we should be feeling It but we misunderstand its message which signifies that it’s unnecessary to exhibit
  10. I’ve been here as well but as a guy. Like I would only feel attraction for a woman who wasn’t available, and if they were available I would make sure I didn’t show up for them out of fear I linked it back to my early childhood. My mom left my father and he went chasing after her and they began a very unpleasant attempted rekindling of a broken relationship, ending with a new father figure/half sister years later This story simply helped me understand my deep subconscious fears involving woman and relationships that became apart of my identity This pointed to the relationship i have with myself. What I think I am capable of, who I see in the mirror, and why I hate who I am. It’s often fear to express my “true colors” at any given moment. This takes a lot of self love and letting go, something I’m working toward. Its quite possible everything in your life is intertwined. Look at the respect you hold for yourself dependent on your mental construct involving success, quality and importance
  11. Possibly a perception or focus regarding the energy
  12. very powerful question/answer. I can see it will benefit many ? It reminds me of this Teal Swan video I just watched called “how to find your excellence (100% dependent on desire)
  13. just like how religion fits with nonduality right? you are creating meaning and making all kinds of assumptions. No enlightenment isn't about disidentifying with unconscious preferences, it is discovering the Truth of you. I am looking at the human species as a whole. I see people eating meat and therefore it is "needed" i can only imagine how much suffering this causes you. Doesn't it suck there's so many perspectives and beliefs about what is the right foods to eat for our health? I was recently hearing about the carnivore diet from a "doctor" and it's incredible how conflicting all of the information is out there. Ive learned that the only information i can really trust is just from personal experience. Adopt veganism and it becomes a part of yourself, your identity and then you feel guilty when you don't act in accordance with said beliefs (sounds similar to religion right?). And then you go again, trying to compare other species to our own. I am not saying how we treat animals is right or wrong but just saying it's how we've built society/culture, and this will continue to adapt/evolve No i have not read anything nor do i promote the abuse of animals, but here you go back to the "science handbook" as if it holds all the proof needed, ignoring the limitations/human bias. Do you know what exactly creates suffering? Is it not possible to train the mind not to identify with pain? Sorry animals don't live by human logic
  14. @ListerEnlightenment isn't about meaning/purpose It is apparent humans do still need meat to survive. If eating meat/killing animals causes you guilt then this is your problem. Humans mentally project our own experiences onto everything including animals. We do not know what it feels like to be a dog or a cow, nor do we know how exactly they interact with the world, except from what we learn from our biased human perspective. We like to assume they exhibit the same kinds of thoughts/emotions, automatically assuming our thoughts/emotions to be the only truth I am not against practicing veganism as a means for conscious eating but would never make an identity of it
  15. do not confuse the limited thinking mind with the divine
  16. @mandyjwYou will always be the difference. You have and will always be on a “spiritual” journey and it’s always going to be bigger than you can think or imagine. The biggest mistake is thinking you aren’t where youre supposed to be now. I suggest using some sort of hobby or even chores as a form of meditation, something to get lost in the enjoyment of simply doing/being instead of looking at these activities as a means to accomplish something in particular BUT use every waking/sleeping moment to meditate, use observation to be aware of everything that makes the self, fear being one of the biggest ones. It’s crazy how much my personality/belief system started shifting through spirituality. I’ve had to become more aware of all the new “shoulds” in my life. And I’ve been making peace with my old self by welcoming it back into my life with open arms and integrating it into a fully abundant unattached self (I’m sure this was written just as much for me as you ?)
  17. Feel free to share your revelations afterwards! Cheers man
  18. You good man write for the enjoyment. I know that books basically going to write itself Like Tolle would say, it’s not what you want out of the book but what the book (life) wants from you
  19. Happy buffday mate! Still waiting for the day when I see you upload a video without any words whatsoever and you just sit and smile in front of the camera for hours ??? no but for real ❤️
  20. Yes seems it would enforce a new kind of responsibility on you but mostly in a good way. I worked with young kids of all ages for a few years, and it definitely reminds you what most have long forgotten, the fun goofy loving spontaneity life has to offer
  21. @Serotoninluvwow good example. I’m sure she has a history of that sort of behavior. This definitely gives me a better understanding! Edit: and I would agree with the grounding. I’ve implemented a bioenergetic warmup routine into my schedule. I used to do it everyday but now I usually just do aspects of it before working out
