  1. If you keep judging those false thoughts, it will only keep growing. Try to observe the false thought/belief and let it come and go. Talk to yourself like "Oh it's a thought, anyways, I have to work on this project, or start my own business one day" or any other positive thought. The key it so be aware of those thoughts and don't feed them, instead accept it, and talk yourself out of it. Also those negative thoughts/beliefs probably extend farther deep than you realize. It's like an iceberg, where your current awareness is what you see and all your subconscious thoughts are under water. You may need to sit down alone for a few hours and try to find the root cause of this thinking. Then find ways to get actualized and fix those limiting self doubts.
  2. @Viking Fair enough, everyone is different and not all methods work. It worked for me when I was 16, and I instantly felt the effects as I got my first girlfriend and I literally had to do nothing as she approached me. It sounds like step "B" is what you may want to improve on? What may be attractive for some women, may not be for others. Consider eating a healthy diet and working out. Try a new haircut or clothing style. Dating is like poker dude, you can win with any hand if you play it right. Even if you perceive you were "dealt" a bad hand, there are ways to improve on it. My first couple of girlfriends were nothing spectacular, but I got experience and it was fun. Maybe try dating some shitty matches and just for fun and see what you learn from it. I have seen a little bit of everything on Tinder, if you are patient I'm sure you could find a match there.
  3. In my opinion one should get laid first before getting a girlfriend. It will give you confidence when you start dating and it can be hard if you are still a virgin. How do you get laid? Try craigslist, backpages, or just inquire around the city for the women who preform the honorable profession. Get it over with, it will give you confidence when you start dating. After that getting a girlfriend is as simple as A, B, C, with a gradual latter progression until you reach the top. In other words, start from the bottom and conquer each step. A: Objective..... Define yourself. What kind of man do you want to be? Try to have a clear path what you want out of life. Develop a set of principles and values that you strongly believe in. You can keep it simple at first if you are young, and then more complex as you get older. ie: I believe in hard work and perseverance.. my objective is to finish college and get good grades no matter what. B: Confidence/Self-acceptance.... You should absolutely be 100% confident with yourself. You shouldn't be having any negative thoughts of yourself or your self image. This step is probably the most important one. Make sure you have this down pat if you want to start dating. C: Social skills.... It's a reality of the fact that women and humans in general are social creatures. You don't have to be the most popular or charming man on campus either. Just start talking to women, it's the only way to get practice. Online dating and tinder is what I would recommend. There is no need to do pickup games outside, if you are not comfortable with that. You could eventually graduate to that level as you get experience. I have found success just talking to women online or tinder, and then going on to meet them and go from there. This step should be applied realistically at first, until you gain more experience. Maybe you want to date european models, or beautiful women in general, but you have to build your chops till you get to that point. Again, this is just my opinion, but I have found it has worked well for me. *Also I should say, dating internationally is highly effective if you are new and don't have experience. I have found success talking and dating women from Dominican republic, asian countries, and africa. It's fairly easy to get laid and get experience. Only downside is, you may need to save more money to travel to those countries to meet them.*
  4. Usually I have noticed people procrastinate because there is cloudiness in their mind somewhere. Direct sunlight into those areas to clear the skies so to speak. Is there unhappiness or a grudge you are holding back? Do some contemplation, try to see what you are thinking about when you procrastinate. Once you have a clear mind, and no resistance, you can multitask and fully commit to anything 100%. Good luck!
  5. I know it's not for everyone, but maybe consider becoming a Pilot. I have been flying for the past 9 years, and I have gotten to experience amazing view's and the beauty of this planet from above. Not to mention I got paid to travel and eat great food. Something to consider, but as always, just find your passion and stick to that until you make it. good luck!
  6. I'm new to the forums. When I was in my early 20's, I also wanted a career that was exciting and not routine. I found it boring coming in to work, punching in a time card, and seeing the same folk's day in and day out. I wanted variety, with a sense of independence and adventure. I had a passion for aviation, and after some contemplation, I was going to go to school to become either an Aircraft Mechanic, or a Pilot. I took an introductory flight at my local airport on a warm summer evening one day in a Cessna 172 single engine propeller aircraft. It was one of the most meditative and exciting experience, in anything I have done prior to that. It really engaged all of my senses, and "put me in the moment". That feeling of just being focused on the task at hand, and having all of your other irrelevant worries behind is what I was seeking for in a job/career. I have been flying ever since that day, and I am soon to be starting training for larger aircraft at the airlines. Something to consider if you want to escape the mundane everyday 9-5 hustle. Other jobs/careers that I would consider: Paramedic, Firefighter, racecar driver, scuba diver, maybe a treasure hunter/blogger of some sort? So many options out there... good luck!
