  1. @Mezanti The slower you breathe the less the mind is active. Try it yourself, breathe as slow as you can that it's comfortable for you. The mind responds to breathing, the faster you breathe the more anxious the mind becomes and vice-versa. When doing my Kriya I can inhale about 2-3 times a minute, which shuts down the mind drastically. There is still some chatter, but it's way better than it was.
  2. @The Don At this time of the year I also feel some depression symptoms which came out of nowhere, also my wife feels it. Wait for winter (which is far away from now, lol) and things will be better believe me. Just go through it, you are not alone in this one <3
  3. @Swagala Go deeper. There are dozens of enlightenment experiences, there is no SINGLE one, there are many. Infinity, love, nothing, God etc. Everything comes one by one in no particular order. Never seek them, just continue your consciousness practice and these insights will come when they come.
  4. @RobinOntwikkeljezelf I did it for some time and wow what a deal breaker this technique is actually when you understand WHY it mus be done. The deal with this technique is just to observe what ever comes up. You free up some time and let the mind and body relax. Then you just sit and wait, for 20 minutes. Thoughts will come up like usual, but you just observe what ever comes up. The main thing is just to purge your inner stuff. You might remember something you had to do for this evening, or the up-coming weekend, maybe a birthday party or something. If a thought like this comes up, you observe it, think about it, resolve it and let go. And another thing will come up, resolve that, let go and wait for something more. Believe me you will be blown away for what kind of stuff you will be able to remember or resolve, past traumas, past shit what haunts you today. This is the kind of purging meditation.
  5. @IndigoGeminiWolf You become pure awareness. Awareness catches itself. The awareness becomes aware that the true self is the awareness. It's as if awareness see's itself in the mirror for the first time.
  6. I've been interested in Reiki also. Would be really cool to hear some of your stories who have some experience with it. Also how it feels and does it actually heal?
  7. @JonasVE12 It's super hard to even explain this stuff to people, I've tried it myself and failed 99% of the time. This requires a person to already have enough consciousness to even begin with. So I might not bother to even talk about it. It's also abstract as fuck. I would have to teach it to people for like 3 months straight to even get them even started on the theory, but then again they have their lives, their problems, their interests etc. You can't make people awoke, they have to awake on their own. My tip would be just concentrate on your own inner work, and if they come - they come.
  8. @Yoshy Meditate/do yoga and on the second weekend smoke weed and do your yoga. Careful it's addictive
  9. @ardacigin True, its difficult even to distinguish focus from awareness, because people 99% of the time think that they are the same and making a separation between them sounds stupid, but when it comes to the practice, when you do it, it makes a huge difference.
  10. Been doing yoga quite frequently now and I started to feel constant coming and going pressure on the forehead, 3rd eye chakra area. What can this mean? Maybe any of you has some knowledge about this.
  11. @SQAAD there is a difference between the focusing point and awareness. You just see is as the same here, but there is a difference. I do believe the "TMI" book that @ardacigin has recommended for you talks about this and then you understand what the hell are we talking about. I understand why you see awareness and focus as the same, but this is next level stuff my friend. Google "Om Japa Chakras" maybe you will find some info about it and you could understand it more, its a bit tricky at first, but once you grasp it you will be a littlw bit amazed.
  12. @SQAAD you have to learn this. There are exercises in Kriya yoga which does that. This is only developed. For example you can focus lets say on the 3rd eye, meanwhile you are still feeling/noticing/are-being-aware-of sensations in your body. Like the inner voice, breathing, feeling presure on your but, etc. But you still keep FULL focus on the 3rd eye. It's hard to do at first, but with practice you learn it. Also it's hard to understand this concept even. But it's explainable.
  13. @khalifa I feel you, but I noticed that people need to have A LOT of awareness of their mind. Unchecked mind + psychedelics can really fuck you up and you can do bad things to yourself. But I noticed that if you have good awareness on your thoughts you can trip really well. Just start low and work your way up with time.
  14. Do a test - breathe without pauses and see how long can you do it. If you notice this kind of breathing is not sustainable, you'll get tired. Do pauses 2 seconds atleast. The breath should be calm and relaxing
  15. 1st awakening: Asked myself really deep how it was all created and somebody answered it inside my head that I'am God. That shooked me to my core. That made me realize what mystical experiences are.
  16. Buy the book list. There are books on Kriya
  17. @SQAAD There is a funny thing about yoga which you will read and probably experience yourself. The book mentions that sometimes your inner guru will guide you through the practices. And believe me the inner guru comes! On your best days you might sit, do the excercise and feel that some kind of intuition is guiding you through the excercise, showing you how to do it, and also don't ressist this let the guru do its thing. It will control your body, change the technique in the best way for you. Kinda feels like God is taking control of your body and showing you how to do yoga, the inner guru knows whats best for you. I had this experience, my wife also had some inner guru lessons, and I saw it in action on my wife, once I saw her doing something unordinary I was like "please just let it guide you and don't ressist it" when she was done I asked "were you in control?" She answered "YES wtf was that" and I instantly aknowledged that she had been in the zone where this inner guru takes power. Its kinda ridiculious to hear this, once I read it I was like ok kinda get the idea that I do how I wanna do it, but once it happens you just know that this is the time to let go and let it guide you. But the guru doesnt come everyday. Once in a while, but the first time that can come up quickly to let you know that it is with you. Its a proccess of trial and error, I still keep perfecting my forms everyday. Keep at it and you will learn on your own.
  18. @SQAAD I will spoil you with one of the books in Leo's book list on Kriya, but this one is foundational. It's "Kriya Secrets Revealed by J.C. Stevens" This is a technique book to learn how to do Kriya Yoga. Starts from the most basic of exercises and later it grows into more potent techniques once you master the starting ones. You will thank yourself for starting to do Yoga, I didn't believe it myself, but now I'am very serious about the benefits that yoga brings, they are just outstanding. The hard part for you, if you buy this book, will be starting a habit for doing Kriya yoga. You will resist for a bit, but if you do yoga I guarantee in two weeks you will notice real growth in your base line of awareness. Yoga helped me reach and MAINTAIN permanent non-dual state of awareness. I was also skeptical at first about the whole Yoga thing, but wow is it powerful, no wonder Leo talked about it, he only shares the strongest consciousness practices. Also keep doing your meditation, Yoga will even supercharge it!
  19. @peanutspathtotruth Don't misunderstand opinion with genuine advice.
  20. @SQAAD I started doing yoga and in two weeks with newbie techniques I gained more consciousness growth than meditation doing meditation for a couple of months. Actually even yogis are saying that meditation is shit. It's just letting your mind wonder off and trying to catch it. You need to spiritually cleanse your BODY which what meditation can't do. Of course your mind can be sharp from meditation, but your body wont be clear of energy blockages. So think for yourself what is more important. Don't leave your body behind, it also goes for the ride to wherever you go.
  21. Do yourself a favor and start doing yoga for the rest of your life. Meditation alone is really weak of a practice. Kriya yoga is way way more powerful
