@Ampresus yes. and of course, it can take time with the dis-identification process... don't expect overnight. but you will find it will have a snowball rolling down the hill effect. just gotta get the ball rolling and as you notice and find the peace it will attract more of similar action on your part which brings it about. best wishes -

Do you control emotions by controlling thoughts? you cannot control the thoughts. thoughts simply appear to you. for example if you were in a room where a piano, drums, violin, and a guitar are being played... can you control what sound is heard by you? same way, all thoughts are simply appearing before you. you cannot control it... you can simply choose to let go identifying with it. if i told you that table tennis is the worst sport in the world! would that upset you? (hopefully you're not a table tennis fan for this example I'm using ) but if i told you that Netherlands is the worst country in the world! that maybe will upset/anger you (seeing that you're from that country) same way. it's not the thought/comment which upsets you. it is your identification with it. thought/comments made by others are just "sounds" which you assign meaning to and then identify with... simply let go... you are not your thoughts. and trying to control causes more issues. if you were on a roller-coaster ride which is on a track and there is pretend steering wheel in the car you're in, does turning that do anything to control the roller-coaster ride? if one thinks they can control it, and when they turn the wheel and it goes no-where. that can certainly upset. but once you see that it is out of your control. you can sit back and enjoy the ride -

enlightenment is lucid living 24/11 brooooooooooooooo knowing your dreaming but cannot wake up from it because there's no outside of the dream to wake up in just relaxxxxxxxxx like when you're on a roller-coaster (provided you're not afraid of them) - you don't attempt to control where it goes. you don't attempt because you know you're not in control. so you just enjoy the ride -

@Nak Khid trying to communicate absolute truth is like someone in your dream at night trying to slap the sleeping you on the bed. they can only ever slap the you who is inside of the dream, not the you who is sleeping on the bed, dreaming. that contact is not possible same way, absolute truth is not possible to be communicated in words, ideas, concepts. -

@DoubleYou also read this: So much has been written about this, but few seem to understand that this supposed Advaita ( Not 2) Siddhant ( philosophical conclusion) has come about due to the mis-translation of the word ‘Maya’ into English. This Sanskrit term does not translate squarely into English as ‘illusion’. There are subtleties to the meaning, which more correctly can be understood as: ‘That which is not’. Which refines the meaning from: the thing only seems to exist... to: that thing is indeed Real— but is not what I think it is. For Adi Shankara, the world is not an illusion— it is indeed real. But it is Maya. And Maya is also Real. It is an eternal power of Brahman (the Divine). It is the power which keeps the experience of the Divine obscured. That obscuration is also obviously indeed Real. So Maya is Real— not an illusion, which implies thinking something is there when it’s not. Well, It IS there!— but it’s not what we think it is. Based on this mis-translation of Sanskrit, the Neo Non Duality movement has been born. -

@arlin arlin. yes, it all just is. but are you yet in the state where you can be OKAY WITH all being just as it is? if you own a car, that you drive to work each day... actually, no, let's say it is your work, you do UBER... and you do it, cuz you gotta pay bills to live in the place where you do, to get food to eat so you can stay alive etc etc... and you see someone stealing the car... THAT IS JUST WHAT IS. you car is being stolen. you can sit there and accept it, it is as it is. but this will follow that you cannot earn anymore. which also just is... and so on. but you gotta assign meaning to that car and to NOT being okay with someone stealing it. because in your current circumstance you have a body, need a place to live which needs rent money and food to eat which needs money and that car which earns you that money. all the while, knowing it's all a dream. but dream can be a good dream or a nightmare. if you ask someone you know if they had a choice for having good dreams for the rest of their life or nightmares, what will they pick? knowing the truth of it all allows you to not be attached to the outcomes and result, but doesn't mean you don't jump outta the way if a truck is incoming... you're learning to navigate your world better. no... it's you, knowing the truth and integrating it to dream good dreams and not nightmares. once you know it's all a dream/illusion/not-what-it-appears-to-be you learn to let go trying to change many aspects which will do nothing but "upset" you otherwise. and when you stop trying to change things and allow them to flow naturally, it manifests only beautifully... mirroring your understanding. no fear or worry on your mind = only good comes your way sure, diseases, losses etc will still come. your body will die at the end. but you will learn to flow with it all. -

you are walking down the street and see that there is a snake which has bound itself at the bottom of the tree to the left and the right of the road. such that it's creating a tripping hazard. when you come closer, you see that it wasn't a snake... it was a rope! the snake was an illusion seeing that there was no snake... there is still the tripping hazard. so you simply step over it and navigate it safely so you don't trip when crossing the road. the meaning is given to the work so that we can learn to better navigate and live in this illusion drop the fear/scare of the situation and do what needs to be done no reaction, only action. travelling lighter ILLUSION does not mean UNREAL-FAKE it simply means that it's not what it appears to be - that changes the whole deal. don't it. illusion is a poor translation in English of the word MAYA ... illusion means NOT-What-It-Appears-To-Be @arlin -

@Mason Riggle oh yes. It's just wanting to enjoy the mystery of the magic Once the trick is seen, it loses its magic. So the ride begins -

SoonHei replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mason Riggle oh yes. indeed. but i mean, the way i effortlessly and willingly/thinking directly to move my hand, body etc to be able to move, levitate objects kinda like in a lucid dream for example that can be done. of course, what I AM is already everything and moving it all. even me wanting to move my hand is the I AM doing it thru me. -

haven't encountered the becoming of everything i wonder if it's a direct and maintained high enough, can one mold/move things around? like right now, there is without a doubt a knowing of being the body. so all i need to do is "think" or want to move my hand and the hand moves... because i know myself to be the hand/body so if i become everything. and say i want to move an object in the room, maybe i move it as easy and effortlessly as i move my hand... Matilda style? -

@ActualizedDavid i doubt any books should/would be removed. different people have different levels from which they need to learn and move upwards a book removed could be a doorway someone needed to get to the next step. -
