  1. In my language, Greek, depending on the context, we have two different words to translate the word meaning. The first is, "νόημα" (noima), which comes from the root "νους" (pronounced noos, like the animal moose, not like mouse), which means 'mind'. In other words, it refers to what is produced by the mind, the result of the active process of the intellect. Το 'give meaning' is the mind’s attribution of qualities or properties to external stimuli; hence, meaning is the outcome of the mind’s engagement with reality. The outcome of the act of sensemaking. The second one is the word 'σημασία' (seemasia), which means significance. In English, “meaning” comes from the Old English mænan, meaning “to intend” or “to signify.” The word emphasises intention and what is being pointed to or implied, focusing less on the mind’s internal creation and more on outward signification and communication. In the context of this forum, I get that the word meaning is mostly used as the former. To illustrate, in one of his last discourses, Krishnamurti told the audience, "Do you want to know what my secret is??" He paused, and everyone leaned in, expecting some grand revelation. Then he smiled and said: "You see, I don’t mind what happens." ('mind' -verb- as the act of sensemaking) a simple sentence with a profound meaning (significance). He means (signifies), 'I don't engage in sensemaking, I don't project personal importance onto events, I am not acting as a meaning-making machine. I let things be as they are'
  2. Lately, I came across many articles talking about the same thing. I am using AI a lot since the beginning of 2023, and it has made a huge difference primarily in my business and almost in every aspect of my life. Sounds good, but...yes, it's clear that the delegation of the thinking process has somewhat declined my innate ability to create a fully self-thought result. The results, though, are far better, and there comes the trap, 'but why do it myself since the AI will do it a hundred times better, and faster?'. It's the same thing as taking steroids, heavy nootropics, etc. Besides making people dumb, I see an emerging future pattern. I am 48 years old, so before using AI, I have built my innate cognitive abilities and robust critical thinking, so now the AI is giving me superpowers by using it as an aid, not just copy-pasting its result. The same thing applies to people who are 35+. However, the youngsters, now 18-25, in ten years will be almost dependent on AI for their results, and regardless of how good the result of the AI will be, it will always lack behind the result of sovereign, independent human thinking. Therefore, an era is coming, where older people will be on a completely different level than youngsters. In 2035, a 50-year-old interviewing 25 year old job candidates, will be eye-rolling at the inability to originally express themselves and the obvious constructed patterns of thought. In 10 years, Generation X and early millennials who will be onboard the AI-train will easily dominate the world. The tools that were supposed to democratize intelligence are actually… making real intelligence rare again.
  3. One time, on 6.5g of McKennai shrooms, I suddenly felt like zooming out, out of the current life's timeline, and saw something like a film ribbon in front of me. Then, I zoomed in again on one of the frames, and I was back in my ordinary consciousness. Fascinating!
  4. When Joe Rogan asked him if he has every done psychedelics, he said: "I have always valued objective reality. I don't want anything interfering with my understanding of what is actually happening in front of me" Well Neil... There is something inteferfering. It's 'Neil Degrass Tyson'. He has done more discussions on them. Everytime his stance is almost comical. It's like blind people discussing about how stupid are others who claim they see.
  5. 1. Talking on the phone during trips, saying things my normal ego cannot support the next day. 2. Dumb: I Called a facilitator to give me Rapé, just after the ayahuasca kicked in really strong. Being on my knees, I felt like a channel opened along my spine and an immense amount of energy passed through. Sounds fascinating, but I felt like I was hit by lightning. (Rapé is amazing when the trip has reached a plateau after a couple of hours) 3. Dumber: During having ayahuasca with a sitter at home, I told him my shoulder hurts, and he thought acupuncture would be a good idea. He started inserting the needles and suddenly I felt an unbearable rush of energy between the needles. One of the strangest, sharpest, and most uncomfortable feelings I've experienced in my life. 4. Ultra dumb: Took 6.5 grams of McKenaii shrooms having eaten nothing for about 16 hours, after sitting under the summer sun for hours, feeling already exhausted before the trip. They slapped me hard. I paid dearly for that irresponsibility.
  6. Cool, I would definitely try the pill to see how it compares to the actual thing, but in my experience, it's not always ony harmala and DMT. Shamans put extra ingridients in the maoi-dmt brew creating their own recipes. In a ceremony I was given a 'special' ayahuasca once (called ayahuasca colibri), and although I had drunk 20 times before, I was blown away. It was a different level of experience. Another time, a shaman gave us a brew that brought a magical feeling to the whole experience. We were looking at each other amazed and had no words to describe it. Everyone was saying "It's like Magic" . The canadians can try to talk with shamans to learn about the variations, even though I think shamans won't be open to it. What are your experiences with your pills? Have you tried to put more ingridients to them?
  7. Judging by your first post, it's obvious that you would choose the right. The fact that you value more the conservative moral compass and value system, indicates that you need to get more perspectives on things. Conservatives are people who have specific limitations that do not allow them to be liberal (those limitations are well described in Leo's video). From a healthy liberal standpoint, seeing someone who is trapped in a very conservative mindset makes you feel compassionate. What we need is a well-balanced conscious combination of liberal and conservative views that do not derive from fear and insecurity.
  8. If you had been raised in a prosperous society with a high-quality value system, given the love you needed, non biased education and had no insecurities and fears, what would you choose from the following?
  9. Watch 'Playtest' It s one of 'Black mirror' series episodes. It s a whole story by itself. It left me with a bad stomach-churning depressing mood, for hours.
  10. Great work. Very inspiring. Thank you
  11. Yes, yes, and yes. And this is only the first step. Your wildest imagination cannot reach the depth of the experience of a strong psychedelic trip.
  12. I think a long lasting trip is better than a crazy-paced very intense one. 5-meo-dmt is no joke. The best begginer's psychedelic in my experience is San Pedro (huachuma). It is mild and has an easy going vibe, but lasts long and, boy, that taste... LSD is the most balanced one (always test it). Mushrooms are more playful but can be tricksters. Ayahuasca is on a level by itself and it is by far the best of all the long lasting experiences.
  13. Actualized Clips youtube channel is amazing but difficult to navigate, especially for first-timers. Create thematic playlists like in the main channel, and playlists that will remain always at the beginning with introduction-to-your-work videos Revisit and improve Actualized channel playlists (re-sort etc.)
  14. Let's entertain the thought that the pyramid has the ability to give a man a profound mystical experience via an unknown metaphysical mechanism. The question is, which psychedelic gives the most similar experience to the pyramid?
  15. Be careful with MDMA, as it should not be mixed with Ayahuasca (MAOI) or SSRIs because it can become lethal. Not ego-death, the regular one
  16. @Leo Gura please help me understand if the following analogy somehow explain alien consciousness: Let s say we have a vivid dream at night, and in that dream we are living in an imaginary town with people passing by and everything, like non player characters. That dream world is something we created in the astral realm and it s complete by any aspect a world can have, following the basic rules of our world. A character in that dream has his own consciousness and he may expand it with Psychedelics as we do. Is there a way for that dream character to awake so much that not only understands that he is in a dream but to connect to the consciousness of the person having the dream? And if yes, is this what alien consciousness is? Thanx
  17. Let's assume it's not alien. If a secret laboratory had the technology to build such a thing, should they inform humanity about the achievement? Not necessarily.
  18. Everyone can evolve horizontally on their level, but the goal is to evolve vertically, and this is what this forum is about. Surely, compared to someone on his level who does no self-development work, he has a better everyday experience in life that you may call happiness but it's a house of cards. It would crumble on a big hit like a disease. People like Tate can get humbled by life easily. And then, their actual path begins. It's what is happening inside, not outside, that matters. Real happiness is peace of mind and Tate does not seem to have much of it.
  19. Really? Andrew Tate looks happy to you? From an elevated perspective, he is an insecure, miserable, egomaniac, low-consciousness chimp who thinks he is the king of the world. Turmoil inside and far from bliss. People like Tate need the 'open your eye' slap Dr. Strange had in the Marvel movie. Who looks happier in the scene, the Ancient One or Dr. Strange?
  20. Imagine that you could download in you, a skill like being a Picasso-level painter, like Neo got to know Kung-fu in Matrix movie. Suddenly, you would tell yourself 'I am a genius painter!!!'. You would feel it inside your core. So, what would be the infinite urge inside you to do? Manifest the newly acquired skill. Paint. If you don't manifest it, you don't really know it. You want to see what you are capable of in order to understand yourself, and for that, you need something to paint on that is not you. Therefore, existence.
  21. Whenever I read a question like this, it's like: Since it's 'bad' to dip my finger in jars of honey, why does God put honey jars everywhere and gives me the craving to dip my finger in them? Long answer: God gave us a choice, to be selfish or not. We choose to be selfish, so this is what you get. When we, as humanity, evolve enough, then the pain and suffering of the world will be reduced. It was far worse 2000 years ago. It will be better 2000 years from now. As God cannot build a Stradivarius violin without Stradivarius, likewise, God will end the pain and suffering of the world through us. Short answer: So you can become aware of your egoistic urges, learn to control them, and stop dipping your finger in the jar.
