@Ethan1 This really can be transcended, for it's a false dichotomy. From a certain POV it for sure seems like they are opposites, but that's in the unhealthy cases - that of myopia with daily trivia, and the daydreaming that follows from not fully embracing your current situation. When one is mature, those are not really separate things. You work with small steps towards your vision and purpose. And what bridges the two "perspectives" is a great amount of self - love and drive towards a life purpose. The more transcended and conscious it is, the more selfless you are the more you can bring your Will into existence.

Love 'im. Helped me a lot to start embodying green.

@arlin Depersonalization and nihilism are the consequence of a very low consciousness. The ego is masking itself behind the labels "not me", "not mine". This is not a "higher state" of selflessness. In fact, that's the furthest one can be from it, because you're not surrendering control, rather you have denied the responsibility in the first place. Yet you can pass through it and grow. I know, because that "episode" you describe was my experience for 2 years of my life. This state of consciousness is a consequence of a lot of unhealed trauma and impurities. Start by realizing you actually don't know. Focus first on basic self - help and personal work. Work on your life, on YOU. You can't handle or are in denial with your current experience. Learn to give it love and accept it - start from there. There's a lot of basic growth you need before you can even look to "the higher states". And that's okay. If you deny this in front of yourself and try to grapple with those experiences, the problem will fester.

I suspected something along these lines. Appreciate the nuanced responses.

Psychs (mushrooms in particular) have had a empowering effect on me. I maybe won't use the word "motivation", because of the connotation it mostly holds, but they for sure have sparked a very powerful sense of focus and direction for me. Stemming from the state of Self - Love.

I was referring to the 10s as well. The "spiritual realm" is not somewhere "out there". It's here, you are in it. You are it. Look at your hand. That IS the miracle of creation and spirituality. It's just a matter of how conscious are you of it. Walking through nature, psychedelics, mystical experiences allow you to see with more clarity. It's a matter of consciousness. Seeking it "out there" and going after it in such a manner is fundamentally what distances you from experiencing it and creates that duality. You've taken for granted the entiery of existence. What I said was neither a personal attack, nor meant to discourage you. It was an observation outside the personal context that from your POV may seem threatening because it's challenging your perspective. I was pointing out that the given Christian examples are extremely distorted, because they hold a separation /duality that is what is keeping you away from becoming conscious. The fact you resonate just points to your conscious evolution and has northing to do with a shaming or moralistic tone. I've went through it, for I was raised by a very Christian household. So what I'm pointing to you has nothing to do with "you" per say, but rather the dynamic that is displayed. -
I think those are the results with 100% of the precincts. Mayor Pete is the winner in the state delegate equivalents with a small margin, while the popular vote was for Bernie. https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/pete-buttigieg-bernie-sanders-lead-iowa-caucuses-updates-today-2020-02-06/

Ero replied to Identity's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SerotoninluvIt's a good habit to have. @Identity There's a reason retreats are so effective. I would say one has to be able to thread both worlds. There will be times you'll have to skew the pendulum in the opposite way. I for example now am focusing on socialising, building connections and so forth. I was for a long time in the other end, so I feel a natural draw to bringing this inner mindfulness externally in my life. There is a balance to everyone's life. IME there's always some kind of an outlet for everybody, the difference is whether it is conscious or not. -
@Norn Thanks for the share. I had some pretty sweet realisations as to the importance of having a commonplace journal. Funny thing is is that I perceive it as an extension of my intelligence (similar to the "second brain wording"). It definitely is something very important, and good for you for spreading awareness.

@MrDmitriiV You have some balls. That great of a jump in dosages is often what makes or breaks the trip. I did something similar with shrooms. I advise you to focus on more frequent low dose trips for purification. Your sweet spot should be where you feel challenged and exhausted at the end, but not overwhelmed. Safe tripping, brother. -
@Matt23 Honestly, don't spend your time like this. I'm not saying you are wrong per say, just realise it has no significance in the bigger picture. One's orientation towards events like these is very illustrative of the entire conscious orientation. From your post I see you are operating from the personal paradigm. Nothing wrong about that, but there are so many more beautiful states and paradigms.

@Space Try not "to frame it". Go in openly without expectations. You can not do a lot differently than what you are able to. And that changes with experience, so be ready to make a lot of blunders. In the end - try to have some fun

Look. Similar stories were written about Leo on quora as well. You are your own person and can decide for yourself. Are the things written true? Maybe. I cannot chime in on this. But realise that you are wasting your time with personal stories and attacks. You have bigger fish to fry. Mods, this thread requires some cleaning amongst the responses.

@Neph It may be a useful story along your journey. For example "reading your karma" may point you to what you need to work on, purify and transcend. It for sure is something a lot more sophisticated and you can probably gain insight on it, but don't forget the bigger picture - that you are to burn away all your karma.

@Raptorsin7 Just so you know, my knowledge is that the field is heavily saturated and is in quite a late stage of its development (hence saturation). That does not mean you can't make it work, but I'm just giving you a heads up that a lot has changed since the "golden days" and probably the idea you have for how things will go. I went through a similar phase with some projects of mine. Read the market. That will help you in the long run.

Ero replied to John Iverson's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@John Iverson The bible is not one homogeneous text, but thousands of pages written across centuries by different people. The "final version" we are familiar with is the result of centuries of filtering, sorting and suppression of the various other "pages". That is what the church did. Of course, based on the denomination, different books will be accepted. Evangelicals for example accept entirely different parts of the bible than Eastern Orthodox. I am sure amongst the "lost pages" there will be more occult and healing type of stuff, as well as more non-dual teachings. But I wouldn't stress too much on it. If it really has peaked your interest, by all means go for it, but you won't come different out in the end. -
Ero replied to WellbeingSeeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@WellbeingSeeker A lot of the resources you have pointed to are low-quality. A lot of dogma is present in those people. For spiritual experiences to be interpreted in the given way, it means that the paradigm and entire worldview of those people is locked within "Christianity". The "spiritual realm" is here. You are in it. What those experiences reveal is the present moment - YOU ARE IT. Observe the distancing that those people experience - that is the product of all the conditioning they have went through. The fact you resonate with the given materials is pointing to your developmental stage. You will find a lot of worth in discarding the mental stories you are currently in. -
The fact that are you're asking shows that you yourself are not eligible to do so, because you have no idea of the way growth happens. And that already means you're nowhere near turquoise. Appreciate the complexity and dedication it takes on this path. Suffered the same mistake with my friends and family.

Shameless and unstoppable That always comes up when something thrilling and truly great follows. I think I have found a cadence. The dance of self - love rocks while creating what is meant to be.

@Kushu2000 If you you remove the "righteousness " you are left with little. That should be a red sign for you. -
Stumbled across his channel. Haven't watched much, but it would be interesting to learn more. Sorry if somebody already shared it, only today I came across his channel. "We humans are insatiable. We do or best to limit the limitless. We find that much easier than let go of our limits and unite with the limitless. "

@Leo Gura Oh, believe me, they can. Only on my second trip I was 10 people experiencing orgasm at once (female and male). The fluidity you describe definitely was there. Although the Sun was my Love-bringer then. Is there something special you were referring to with this quote : I came across not that far back the description of Ramanujan's genius by Sadhguru, so it peaked my interest. There's a particular intuition I have in that direction.
