Two monitors doesn’t mean multitasking. Some tasks just require extra real estate. If you use it to open YouTube on the side than yeah it’s distracting. Ultimately you create your own distraction independent of the number of monitors you have.

My main psych is mushrooms & I haven’t tried full on tripping many days in a row yet but based off my experience microdosing, there doesn’t seem to be tolerance build up. I can take a dose that rides on the threshold for a month straight & never experienced any diminishing of the effects. Has anyone here tried macro dosing shrooms many days in a row? Do you experience tolerance? I gotta test that out.

Here are my favourite exercises to do with the Swiss ball: -Lay on your back starting at the shoulders. Spread yourself as wide as possible. Rotate those shoulders until they are loose & then work your way down the spine to the hips. You can move side to side to really loosen up the spine & hips. What’s great about this is you can isolate lower, middle & upper spine by placing the ball under the spine where there is tension. -Sit on the ball & make circles or figure 8 with your hips. -Stand on one leg, put your other on on the ball fully extended & roll the ball from side to side with your leg within your full range of motion. Great balance exercise. -Lay on your lower belly while keeping your core engaged & bring your arms up by squeezing your back & hold for as long as possible. Great body weight back exercise. « How to eat, move & be healthy » by Paul Chek has a bunch of Swiss ball exercises in it. ~ The rope is fantastic. The way it makes your spine move translates into & upgrades almost every physical movement especially walking. ~ I gotta issue a warning about barefoot shoes. It’s not an overnight improvement. It’s training. If you’re used to having your feet squished in a normal shoe it’s going to feel very weird at first. Don’t overdo it. There’s a very real risk of injury. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. You’re walking mechanics are going to slowly move from heel strike to more of a midfoot strike. You’ll have to rewire your brain to lower your foot gently on the ground & use the spring of your feet to propel yourself forward. Normal shoes return a lot of the force you use when walking. Barefoot shoes provide none of that. Your feet & calves are what absorb & return the energy. Think of your feet as tripods with spread toes. You can use toes spreaders at home to help stretch & reposition them in a more natural alignment. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. At first I couldn’t wear them for 10min with my toes hurting. Now I can wear them all day if I want to. I am wearing Vivobearfoot. It’s the only brand I tried so far and I like them.

Swiss ball Flow rope Barefoot shoes I use those every day of my life. I discovered the rope recently & I am obsessed. It’s the kind of exercise that leaves you with more energy than before the practice. So fun. I’ve been wearing the barefoot shoes for 6months & my mobility is so much better than before. My toes have spread & my feet are way stronger. I feel handicapped wearing normal shoes now.The vast majority of the shoe industry is a trap.

I was hoping you’d get into it a bit more? What happened? What chemical? What dose? What was your subjective experience? Any lesson? Any value in doing?
-
What was it like to trip for so long?
-
Sometimes the simple answer wins. I still need to check first hand. Did you trip many days in a row on any chemical before?
-
Didn’t Leo mention that 5-Meo doesn’t build tolerance? Never tried it but how would that be different from mushrooms? Does genetics influence how people experience tolerance? Could it be rare but possible that some people don’t build tolerance on mushrooms? Guess I’ll have to test it out at some point.

I tried micro dosing twice the same day as well. Same exact strength even on the same day.

You're sitting here with us, but you're also out walking in a field at dawn. You are yourself the animal we hunt when you come with us on the hunt. You're in your body like a plant is solid in the ground. yet you're wind. You're the diver's clothes lying empty on the beach. You're the fish. In the ocean are many bright strands and many dark strands like veins that are seen when a wing is lifted up. Your hidden self is blood in those, those veins that are lute strings that make ocean music, not the sad edge of surf, but the sound of no shore.

Which chemical is this?
-
Of course

In any case that shit tastes fantastic. Man, a natural Ethiopian pour over. WOW. Rainbow fireworks in my mouth.

He mentioned his health doesn’t allow tripping a few months back. Maybe it’s gotten better I don’t know.

Every music for every chemical🤓

I’ll just leave it on the table, thanks

Nicotine is pure nausea for me. Coffee for the win.

Oh wow I didn’t know such an amazing resource existed. I am on the fence about pirating books for free but I am totally alright with getting e-book copies of physical books I own. It makes the annotation process so much easier on a tablet. I might even jump over that fence but I am battling myself right now🏴☠️

Google how to cook with stainless steel. You just don’t know how to use it.

Only the very best ones. I read & I go back for notes only if the book earned it. Depends on your goals I guess. Do you read just to know stuff or do you apply what you are reading to a field or domain of mastery? It makes sense to me to take notes for the later but I don’t take notes when I read a history book or anything that’s not specifically applicable to something I am working on.

Orchestration is probably a better term. I can’t hear anything digital. Crazy texture! Yeah that’s the term.

This is fabulous tripping music An homage to John & Alice Coltrane mixed with Indian music & crazy sound design. I mean all the little bells & whistles. Rich ambiance. I totally love that album.

I tripped yesterday & basically came out of it mumbling « I don’t have a fucking clue what’s going on with life ». -
I like to remind myself of that burning monk album cover from rage against the machine when I trip. The trip is the trip. You are inventing negative meaning around it to keep yourself trapped from realizing that there’s nothing wrong with those visions at all. You are afraid? So what? That being said, there’s no shame in stopping. You could never take a psychedelic again. That’s also an option. Or come back when you are stronger & can experience any feeling that can & will come up. Psychedelics aren’t fun. Although they can be. Consciousness & having a pleasant trip aren’t inter dependent. In any case, you probably need a long break. Work through your shit sober for a year or more.
