I don’t like lemon tek at all. I’ll be balancing options here. Tea is better. There’s just something dirty about the flesh. Psilocybin dissolves in water fairly easily. Grind your shrooms in pestle & mortar to make it as fine as possible & soak it for a good 15min. No need to simmer or anything. Just pour boiling water on it and let it be. Then strain and enjoy.

Depends on the genetics of the mushroom. I would agree to be cautious if you don’t know the potency of your batch but it could be a good dose. 2 grams of mushrooms mean nothing. It’s more complicated than that. I’d say do a micro dose on the heavier side like 0,2g to gauge whether 2g of this batch would be suitable. If it’s still sub perceptual, 2g would be good. If you can clearly feel something’s up, maybe start with 1g. It depends!!

Every thing you need to know to grow them is on Reddit. Shroomery forum also has all info you need. It’ll take around 300$ of investment to start but gets much cheaper after that. The biggest costs are the pressure cooker & dehydrator. Substrate is pretty cheap and it’s the only thing that you need to buy more of every time. That and isopropyl. If you know you have legit shrooms then the only left to do is to blend them together to average out the potency. Tea is my preferred method. I don’t eat the flesh.

I am glad he’s got plans for 2 more books. I’ll read them alright. -
Yes. More jazz. Always.

You could put earplugs and exist with your mind for a while. That’s productive in my book. It will help you grow in some way.

@UnbornTao You sound like Ralston😁

You sound good bro. I just think we could all be a little more pompous when using our voices ahah! Doesn’t need to be loud. You didn’t ask for it but I’ll talk a bit about breathing for anyone interested. It’s very counterintuitive. From what I can hear 95+% of people push the breath out when using their voice. Which is exactly the opposite of how it’s designed to work. Exhalation should be very slow. Barely letting any air out and placing the pharynx lower with a good mask activation is how opera singers get their high volume without hurting themselves. Rib cage should remain open at all times. In the front and the back. When exhaling the rib cage should not drop at all. Collapsing it makes the air come out way to fast. I want to also mention that playing guitar at the same time tends to mess up proper posture. Special effort should be made to keep the shoulder blades back. Balance is key. It’s like doing a handstand. The moment you put yourself into balance the effort required to do the thing is divided by a hundred. I love talking about that stuff. I am curious. What kind of practice are you into when it comes to keeping your voice well & alive? Are you into humming? Humming is god sent, it places the voice so well. Makes your entire cranium vibrate. So fun.

My critique is not really a critique. It’ll come in the form of a game to play for fun. Game: Pretend you are yogi the bear(Or Elvis for that matter) & sing the whole song like this. It should feel like your pharynx is gigantic. Soft palate lifted high. Throat fully open. Keep your cheeks activated. Nasal passages open. Notice how different it feels. You should be able to sing every pitch like this. Never let the pharynx go up when you go up in pitch. Pitch is controlled by placing the vibration higher up in your mask. I am not saying you should sing like that when you are performing but I am sure you could gain some insights into the actual mechanics of the voice by doing this. I can explain what to look for with your breathing too if you’d like. I will recommend the best resource I know for technique. It’s called « your body, your voice » by Theodore Dimon. This book was a game changer for me when I read it. It explains in detail the actual biology of the voice in relation to our upright design. It is a must read if you are serious about your voice and keeping it healthy.

My ocean obsessed ass thinks there’s a lot of potential. Thanks for sharing! Are you open to having your singing technique critiqued? I think I could help a bit. I like the grit in it.

Some people are even asexual. You are trying fit complex biological systems into a tight box. That’s never gonna work. We can’t even agree on being humans lol.

I’d listen to that. Sounds interesting.

I don’t drink it often. Caffeine agrees with my genetics a lot & I like it but I’ve had very tasty decaf. It’s definitely possible to make it right. It’s just a bit harder to source the top tier stuff. I love natural coffees and I haven’t come across a decaf version of that yet with my local roasters.

Omg are you really wasting 800 euros on one of these?

How do you clean the messy juicer afterwards? It’s the only thing preventing me from making stuff like this.

Taking the subway & bus seem to be pretty low for most people. It doesn’t need to be though. It’s like consciousness could be conscious even on the bus.

Couldn’t tell you what LSD micros are like to me I’ve never had LSD. It’s crazy how psychedelics affect people differently.

Immediately. I get this restlessness from microdosing that is only quenchable through running faster, pulling harder & generally more motivation to exhaust myself. I am combining it with niacin for the vasodilation.

It does not matter what people are « allowed » to do. Especially when it comes to an instinctive and unconscious drive like sex. People will have sex whenever they have sex and you cannot do anything about it. If you make it illegal they’ll just do it behind closed door and keep it to themselves. Just like drugs really.
-
I don’t like microdosing when I have to use my brain power, it’s very distracting to me. Almost jittery. What I have found lately is that I really like it as a pre workout or before I am about to do something physical. I feel like I can use those extra vibrations then. When I need to focus on mind stuff I find it annoying to be honest. Mind stuff I reserve for macro dose.

Depends on the way your specific body metabolizes it & the genetics of the mushroom itself. I feel like a broken record at this point but for some batches, 0,1g feels like 0,5g & for some other batches, 0,5g is barely noticeable. You will need to test & average out every single batch. 0,1g is a good starting point.

Maybe you do need an external intervention. All I am saying is the possibility of it being a product of years of misuse. Which is why I asked all of those questions. It’s not so far fetched. Think of how years of misuse of the digestive mechanism does to a human body. Misuse in this case would be putting the wrong foods in it at the wrong time and in the wrong quantity. Everybody will agree on user error when it comes to obesity & everybody will agree that it’ll take a long time of training & rewriting of habits to change that situation. Same exact thing happens with the breathing mechanism. People that sink their tongue into the pharynx & fail to drop their jaw & lift their palate by activation of the mask muscles are misusing the mechanism in very foundational ways. Your whole upper body from the top of the head down is involved in the sound motion of this mechanism. Even your lower body to a lesser extent. I am serious do you notice any improvement at all when you are smiling & laughing? However slight edit: I mean a real smile with eyes and all. With joy included.
-
Alright sorry for my misunderstanding. Did you take anything I said into account at all though? I used to always have one of them blocked as well by the way.
-
Are you engaging the fine muscles behind the eyes, above the cheeks & keeping you soft palate lifted with proper tongue placement? Do you have a sparkle in your eyes at all time? It sounds silly but do you notice it gets a little better when you are laughing or smiling? Also what does your posture look like? Are you slouching? Is your rib cage open in the front and the back? Do you notice your rib cage collapsing when exhaling? Maybe your airways are collapsed from years of misuse of your face, neck & trunk muscles. Maybe that’s why doctor says you don’t look like you have anything but still can’t breath. It’s not obvious at all how to use the breathing mechanism functionally. I’d say most people are misusing it. I can hear it in their heavy voices that they don’t know how to breathe at all.
