  1. Lol I did watch that video too in a certain moment of my "path" when actually I felt it serious!! Haha. One of the beauties of this path is so many "re-contextualizations" levels. I could have watched that video when I just heard of Spirituality, and it wouldn't have moved me a bit, maybe it could have just arised a little curiosity in me. However at the time I watched i actually felt a kind "fear" and "realness" of the message.
  2. Yeah I heard that already in the past. I'll have to try it then, I only have tried 2 times 4-aco-dmt and both were very mellow (15mg). If I "boof it" I shouldn't do more that than dose then, right? We could say with rectal roa i would be back at baseline 3 hours after administration tops?
  3. Damn this is VERY interesting if this could be actually a way to make lsd trips shorter. Please share more of how did you actually administered ! I imagine it was Lsd in drops?
  4. Personal experience. In my case 1.5hours is not enough. But if I can't keep up with those numbers which is totally normal I'll just do a trip . Also, as I said, check out of intense/focused you are doing the practice. As I say, if the practice is not motivating you by itself, then you must be doing something wrong. Meditation half ass focused as I said is kind of meh. Maybe try Kundalini Yoga if you are struggling with focus. Regarding psychedelics, You can't seriously be telling Me that you trip every two weeks and you feel "stuck" bro! Maybe step up the dose, get a little bit of your comfort zone ?
  5. No, that´s because you are not really doing intensely enough the practices. That´s how psychedelics work , you end up stopping because they are way too effective. Meditation 30 minutes a day won´t go it. 1 hour of meditation half a sleep won´t do it either. Stike for at least 3 hours of intense Pranayama/Yoga/meditation a day. Consider psychedelic regularly if you can´t keep with this schedule. Most people understimate how strong egos are, you need to practice enough and absolutely focused so the practice is intense enough to do serious change in your (imaginary) brain chemistry. Most people won´t go anywhere with less that 3 hours of absolutely focused (not half sleep meditation) a day. If you can fast before, better. Survival must be secondary when doing the practices. Thats how serious you have to take this work. What I get from your messages is that you are not serious about this work. Either you don´t really have passion for truth, or Maybe you´ll need to suffer a bit more to gain wisdow into what is really important.
  6. Holy crap my mind almost exploded reading that but it does make sense.
  7. Trust your gut and heart when it comes when doing psychedelics. Forget about using "reasoning" in this kind of things. Sometimes working on more "down to hearth" stuff is the correct thing, yet other times going towards more profound and trascendence approaches are the best to actually get "things moving" in everything else. There´s no correct answer, I can´t tell to you what you should do. You should really listen to yourself. What does your intuition tells you?
  8. I watched that, but never convinced me. I'm still considering solipsism, if not accurately, to be a very close thing to what the Truth is
  9. Well, I´m literally having WORSE WD effects from caffeine that from Kratom. There´s no way Kratom can be compared with benzos or alcohol wd. I used it daily for over 5 months and one day stopped for 2 weeks to take a tolerance break, well the WD was noticeable lighter than the one I´m having from coffee. So there´s that. At the 4 day I was totally Ok in energy levels. I am at 6 day of coffee and I´m still wasted. As I said Kratom shows plenty of "benefits" like coffee does: Energy boost, mood boost, depression and anxiety relief, immunity boost...etc. Until the know the only bad thing proven from Kratom is constipation. Which gets more or less solved with a more high-fiber diet , magnesium and more water. See, the thing is not the physical harm. As I said caffeine or even Kratom could be healthy for you, I´m not debating the possible physical benefits of caffeine but what studies can´t show how you can: - Become lazy - Become comfortable with your life - Use a substance to avoid facing the real issues of your depression, lethargy or lack of concentration. - Lose touch with your inner desired and your true motivation that drives you. If I have a shitty job, and I do caffine, I can make the work. If I stop caffeine, I might stop being motivated so I´ll just think that coffee is a great thing that makes productity easier. But another perspective could be that a sober perspective give me a clear view of what I really like. But most people are so disconnected they are afraid of this. This are real dangers! But since they are long-term, nobody really talks about them. Yeah, welcome to drugs and the world of "making things easier". See, it´s very easy to show the benefits but is not so much this kind of cons. This kind of cons are sneaky, society must be at minimum level of awareness to actually take into account this cons. This approach is very hard to find into studies, (nor I believe are the goals of them tbh)
  10. exercise and reading
  11. What is currently your practice? The benefits of the practice itself should be enough to "motivate" you to keep going. If not you either not practicing enough or not the right things
  12. But is it really the same Awakening and enlightenment? If after Awakening you still have to work on yourself hard to become less ego-centric (which is from where all neuroticism arises) and more God-like, and enlightenment is the definition of being in an state of God-like, then wouldn't be really enlightenment the actual destination everybody is going towards by doing this work? After all when you are doing self-actualization all you are doing is removing the delusion and confusion in your psyche about certain aspects of yourself. An honest mind would never need self-actualization. Isn't self-actualization just truth discovering but on the personal level? For me it feels that way.
  13. Or just you observing that your behaviour produces suffering in your life, so you want to change. Hasn't be motivated by society always
  14. No, you don't need an anxiety or fear to be motivated to sort out a problem. Do you think engineers need to be anxious and fearful they going to be fired in order to come up with a solution each day for the problem they're trying to solve? It's actually counterintuitive. Stress impacts the hability cognitive activity and intelligence, creativity...etc. It's has even proven that anxiety and fear impacts deeply negatively EVEN in physical "fight or flight" danger situations like fighting someone or like a dog chasing you. You clearly haven't fight anyone. If you ever have fight anyone, you will see that if you don't have "control" over your body primal/lymbic response, you pretty much will lose the fight, because the body gets so activated that it is counter-productive. That response of the body is actually a "bitch" even in kind of immediate danger situations. The first thing a good fighter master's is actually being chill and thinking calm, if you get lost in the limbic mind you will make a mess our of yourself.
  15. @Meta-Man Wow, I'm taking a look at that blog and it's a gold mine! Saving to favourites... ?
  16. Here's another thing you can't never prove: Can you prove that the rock which you see by the river is still existing when you are at home?
  17. @outlandish It's very different doing studies analyzing the benefits of a plant, and another thing is to do a real analyzing of the whole spectrum. Kratom is also a perfect example of this. Kratom has been showed to help in depression, anxiety, mood boost, skyrocket immunity in the body...etc yet I would find it very naive to use those benefits as an argument for Kratom being healthy. Those studies doesn't show how the negatives, which can be sneaky to discover especially in much of today's society which is highly ignorant of the potencial of their bodies. The main issue here is the current society is such at a low level of connection and understanding to the body that even some addictions are considered good. Ime, the word "healthy" along with "dependence" doesn't make sense. Yet this is literally what it is being encouraged when studies try to say that it can be beneficial to have consume an addictive substance on a daily manner.
  18. I know, but I am already 5 days in so I think I'm going to quit it already. Before I reduced to 1 coffee a day, I tried to do one each x days but I would be craving it the rest of the days so I would go back to drink it daily. God damn motherfuc***. 3 moths? I hope mine won't be that bad I was just doing 1-2 a day I expect my wd will last as yours.
  19. No, the survival function is just a mechanism, is not your identity. The problem is identifying with the body and thoughts. If you identify obviously you will fall "victim" of the fear when the body and mind wants to avoid something to stay in homeostasis/safety. Being consciouss is not a theory, is a state. If I've been able to be more happy and relaxed this last months, is because I raised my state. So when thoughts of fear and or anxiety and sensations in the body arised, instead of going along with them, I have been able to surrender to them a little bit more because deep down I wasn't that sure anymore I was this body anymore. This won't work if it's a belief or a theory, you must be conscious in that moment that you are NOT any object! Basically it's as "simple" as raising your state high enough you know you are not your sensations or thoughts. Of course I can't guarantee you if that in a precise moment of your life when fear arises you will be conscious enough or you will be lost in identity. I guess enlightenment is about that. Stabilizing that conscioussness so you don't forget who you are.
  20. Surrender to what the thought about that fear tells you. If the thought "sells you" the story that that thing you are going to do means death (I agree 100% with @Meta-Man here, if you are consciouss enough when you are feeling fear or anxiety you WILL realize that the thought is literally threatening you with DEATH). Basically surrender and be Ok with you dying, then the thought won´t be able to prevent you of doing whatever you want to want to do, because you already have accepted the worst scenario possible. And yes, psychedelics can help a lot with this. But of course it will be as hard as doing it in normal life, the difference is in a psychedelic you won´t be able to avoid it. That´s why it´s they are so effective.
  21. Self-help is actually realizing that you are good as you are. But it is very ironic, because is this that actually lets you change. Ironically, once you accept your "faults" they start to dissapear or trascend them. Because the rejection of them was what was making them "bad" or a problem. I like to see that the faults are just a message waiting to be understood and seeing.
  22. I imagine they are one of the best source of fats. At the same time they don't have much sugars for being a fruit. I would say it's 9/10 food
  23. Thanks bro that will motivate me this fatigued lethargic days for sure
