  1. Taylor Swift masculine? Are you kidding me? What would you call this lady then? @Striving for more (Adriana Lima) considered one of the most beautiful female models in the world
  2. The problem with stainless steel plate is that you have to use much more very high calorie-dense oil which is also going to affect your health long term Tradeoffs
  3. Donald Trump agrees On day 1 of your latest retreats, you took 5-MeO and it was Total Absolute Truth but then the next day you took it again and you said it was even more Total, and then the next day... So you supposedly experienced Absolute Totality (it felt like it) but then your next day trip invalidated it because it was way more Total. You may say logic doesn't apply there but then you do use logic selectively when it serves you to confirm all that stuff. What if in 10 years new substance comes out and experience on this substance invalidates the truth of 5-MeO experiences? How can you know what you experienced is Absolute Truth if an alien with 10x the size of your brain and different neurochemistry may reach way higher states of consciousness? You know what I mean. It reminds me of this conversation: You mean like stuff like dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, etc., or brainwaves? To my knowledge techniques change brainwaves but not neurochemistry When you trip on psychedelics do sudden unexpected sounds startle you more, less, or the same as in your sober normal state? I have some hypothesis about the difference in how psychedelics and deep Samatha meditation affects conscious experience but need to take more psychedelics to confirm. When I get to effortless attention my awareness is so strong it makes a big difference in how sudden unexpected sounds affect me, it's like I'm always ready, prepared for some loud bomb to blast off yet calmer than ever. Long term meditators can get to a state where even sound equivalent to a gunshot near the ear don't startle them at all
  4. @Someone here No longer feeling like there is some sort of centrum of experience/reference point in your head, otherwise known as self No longer feeling like you looking out at the world out there from behind your eyes No sense of agency
  5. @Hardkill I don't like big boobs, moderate size is the best Skinny models are very attractive just not extremely skinny
  6. Yes, but it goes beyond just knowing whether to choose to be hit with a hammer. If you would shot someone enlighten who hasn't been meditating a crazy amount lately, with 9mm in the knee, I can guarantee you his/her muscles would clench with aversion and there would clearly be an aversion to the experience. You may say well there always would be aversion and muscle clenching to such a radical thing but no, there are temporary states where ego is truly gone where you would not even flinch to 9mm shot to the knee but of course it's not possible to be like that all the time. The problem with discussions like that is people have quite different definitions of what is ego, aversion, desire, etc. ... @PureRogueQ Here is my hypothesis about it if you wanna read https://www.reddit.com/r/streamentry/comments/jz55ce/how_awakening_happens_based_on_what_changes_in/
  7. @TheSpiritualBunny I have fortunately been blessed with an extremely non-addictive personality. Trought my teenage and young adulthood years I've tried about 25 different drugs also the most addictive ones, and yet never had any problem with addiction where all my friends at least at some point had some problem with substance use. The only advice I can think of is when you start craving a drug, try to shift your mind from thinking about how good a high feels to how bad withdrawal feels. Create a strong aversion to a drug by associating it with how terrible withdrawal is. Do you still take Xanax? What drugs do you still take?

  9. Then you still have ego. People have very different definitions of ego 5-MeO is not enlightenment, it's ego death or the experience of God you may call it Enlightenment is a persistent change in your state of consciousness but you still have aversions/cravings and it's not infinite love, unlike 5-MeO. Even if you want to take a neuroscience perspective, someone on 5-MeO and enlighten person in their "normal" state differs drastically in their brain activity. Enlightenment merges together your default mode network and task-positive network so there is less difference between them but it doesn't necessarily reduce overall brain activity or increase gamma waves
  10. I do, about 3 full-sized coffees a day I usually drink all 3 at once about 1,5h after waking up. Up to 2 coffees a day actually makes me less anxious (I think it's because coffee has some substances that also act as MAO inhibitors), the third cup doesn't make me less anxious but still, I feel a bit better, the fourth cup starts to make me anxious so I just stick with three. In the past, I've tried to withdrawal from coffee completely but still didn't have nearly as much energy and well-being so ultimately I decided to drink coffee every day indefinitely. https://puritycoffee.com/the-health-benefits-of-darker-roast-coffee/
  11. @abrakamowse It's not a question of if but when for UBI. Only some percentage of people have mental capabilities to become let's say a programmer and blue-collar jobs will slowly decline due to AI and technology IMO we should work towards implementing extremely basic UBI, so you can never worry about food and shelter and that's it. If you want more then you can work for it. UBI beyond food and shelter can wait even 1000 years cause it's not that important
  12. @Dunnel Have you tried antidepressants? 5-MeO-DMT or other psychedelics? Ketamine infusions? Antiinflammatory drugs? 400mg of ibuprofen is a pretty good antidepressant, try it
  13. @Striving for more If you don't add oil, it's a low calorie dense food, which is good for you
  14. @Eren Eeager Venlafaxine has even shorter half-life and I had no problem with withdrawal because I went very slow Guys, you have to just do it slowly. Withdrawing from a high dose should take you ~6 months Medium dose ~4 months Low dose ~ 2,5 months And preferably you should divide a dose and take it 2x a day for it to leave you bloodstream more smoothly
  15. Yes, not 100% of them of course Point is to increase the power of mindfulness, unify the mind to experience less craving/aversion and more joy, love and rapture Also, Jhanas
  16. Isn't sex a mutual benefit? How is that leeching then? If anything, girls on Tinder are leeching more because almost all of them go for the top ~15 percent of males only. Meanwhile, an average looking guy who wants to have sex with an average looking girl can't get it Yes, if you are 5/10 or below and only want the hottest girls - that's leeching
  17. @Phyllis Wagner Women rate 80% of guys as below average = female logic https://techcrunch.com/2009/11/18/okcupid-inbox-attractive/
  18. There is about 2% Curcumin in Turmeric powder. Yes, Turmeric works too but you have to eat quite a bit of it and if you eat too much, you may get a stomachache
  19. @Ensho It will take time but you will get better. It usually lasts about 1,5 years I was sleeping a lot during that time (you can try melatonin if you have trouble falling asleep), SSRI/SNRI's are helpful for decreasing suffering as you wait, psychotherapy can be a good cope too Something that you may take sometimes ad hoc is Curcumin supplement, it lowers inflammation comparable to some NSAID's and when you're really depressed inflammation is significantly higher. Curcumin was the only supplement that made some difference for me
  20. *Disclaimer This is not medical advice I'm not your doctor, don't listen to me, listen to your doctor
  21. @Solvinden SSRI's are approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation On a medium/high dose, I almost couldn't achieve orgasm masturbating at all
  22. @BipolarGrowth I've just got out a very severe depressive episode. 2 years of hell and 6 months of weaker "residual symptoms" I don't know how a manic episode feels like but I assume you suffer less during those times. You can learn to enter Jhana and temporarily suspend your suffering that way
  23. @Igor82 To me it sounds like a denial of decay and death No matter what you do, your body will decay and you will die
