There is no "grey" level. It was Purple, Red, Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow, Turquoise. Leo mentions he is in Turquoise. So we can assume he's primary top of Orange, Green, alot of Yellow, and alot of Turquoise. We are never fully one color since it's a spectrum.

@Flowerfaeiry Very well, thank you for your input! I'll definitely be ceasing use of it indefinitely then. It will be missed lol. I'm going to research into restorative solutions if any are out there.

Feeling what? Emotions?

Well thought is a subset within reality. You gotta have a reality before you can have a thought.

What exactly does it desensitize your brain to? Ive taken MDMA multiple times, 2 years ago I did some Consciousness work trying out the Hippy flip, Candy flip, and Soul Bombing and documented my experience. I usually spaced it out 3-6 months in between. ( I know you said not to mix stuff so it was a one time experiment.) How ever, this year and last year I been making it a New years eve only thing, as im aware of the damage but not the permanence of it, I thought neurochemical levels recover and renormalized, so some concern arose after I read your comment? Should I discontinue use of it even as a New Years eve only trip?

Yeah you know what, I have noticed that. Thoughts do appear as a separate sensation if you will, during reading. Almost like above or behind the sub vocalization. Yes I actually will sometimes need to visually represent the words in my mind when spelling and listening to others under certain circumstances. Its very useful for spelling. Its also funny you pointed out the aspects. During Martial Arts training tonight, I actually noticed how my mind runs multiple layers of thinking at a time. There are aspects of thinking that represent what i am hearing or listening to the instructor sometimes subvocalizing repeating after him, what i am seeing thinking about exactly what i see and visualize in my mind, and interpreting the concept of the techniques, thought aspects of observing those around me which is different from just the seeing of them its almost analyzing like, as well as an additional layer monitoring my own body, All at the same time. It complex AF lol.

Would you consider reading just mental activity then? I often thought subvocalizing was the process of thinking in words?
-
Well my mom passed away when I was 23. i didnt take it well..So i experience a what i understand now to be an egoic deconstruction because i had so much of my identity tied to my mom. It sort of lead me to a more spiritually oriented mentality because then i started question reality. Then I found Leo and been following ever since, since he provided many answers to questions I had since my perception of reality was breaking down and i was having trouble trying to understand wtf was going on. Post Traumatic Growth I believe its called that i went through.

Thats really cool, I think id prefer that. For example when I read as I am reading your message and replying this mind has to listen to the words internally or subvocalize. Its not much of an apparent choice there is. Sometimes I can skim quickly and still know the words without having to "say" it in my head, Meditation seems to be the primary training tool for this. Do you have any recommendations? It wasn't always like this tho. For me the subvocalizing didnt come online till I was about 24. Im 31 now. My mind was completely silent before that? More images.

What are the things called "ear worms?" When you have a song "stuck in your head" Would that be thought?

Thinking is Thought? We think in words and Images. Via internal voice. From my experience. maybe your perception differs? is that so?

I was on 5MeO DMT, I was sitting in the passenger seat of my friends car as we chilled in a parking lot, He helped me light the pipe. I inhaled fully, held it..as I exhaled this white almost yellowish rushing light fully engulfed my entire perception. There was only the awareness of my breath and the rushing light. Then perception of being in space as if I was the entire planet floating there appeared before my eyes. I could see sun rays shining from my left but not the sun directly, unable to move or look anywhere, I could see what appeared to be other planets or moons off in the distance. Certainly an "outer space" appearance, The feeling felt Overwhelmingly familiar! Very pleasant, I could hear thoughts repeating "This is so familiar?" Like Ive been there before? Like Home with a capital H. There was no sense of time but eventually sitting back in the car rematerialized in front of my eyes, the parking lot my friend and this body materialized back into my perception. -

@Leo Gura Leo, You mentioned "materialize a planet with mere thought", it reminded me when I was on 5MeO DMT, I had already been following your content for awhile and your videos about 5MeO encouraged me to try it for myself. I was sitting in the passenger seat of my friends car as we chilled in a parking lot, He helped me light the pipe. I inhaled fully, held it..as I exhaled this white almost yellowish rushing light fully engulfed my entire perception. There was only the awareness of my breath and the rushing light. Like Home with a capital H. There was no sense of time but eventually sitting back in the car rematerialized in front of my eyes, the parking lot my friend and this body materialized back into my perception. Could you explain anything about this experience to me? Was that the Absolute? Then back sitting in the car is the relative? Are those good reference points to refer to understand? What facet of awakening was revealed to me? Its literally the single most important experience in my life, as it has recontexualized my mind and allowed me to understand all of your content more deeply. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated! -

Dumb is not an opposite of intelligence. Its on the same "scale" since its infinite. Dumb is relative. just my opinion. -
At that time he could only operate from the current level of consciousness he was at. The option to open up was not available to his train of thoughts. When he grows himself more those options will come online for him. From you current level of consciousness that option is obvious to you, and for him it just wasnt the cards he had on hand lol.

Actually its more likely because he got stuck in his own mind. He most likely thought you were interested in him, as guys will normally assume this when complimented by a woman, so he became self conscious and unsure of the proper response. He most likely felt the need to want to make sure he said the right things which created the inner resistance.

So today during Martial Arts training my sparring partner and I were doing hand and arm manipulations in which we both counter each other's manipulation or reverse it. Doing this exercise confusion arose as we both were unsure of a correct technique, my sense of self fell away I actually became confused on which person I was. This non-dual state felt effortless yet confusing. I've experienced this state in the past where I had no understanding of what it was and was struggling to comprehend my reality. I felt lost but this time after doing consciousness work it was comprehendible. I became conscious of the ego as it was gone for those short moments and then after it reintegrated I became able to understand what happened. I asked my partner if he noticed that too and to no surprise he experienced the same thing as I described. The oneness of experience it's quite amazing. It was rather tricky to be able to function from this state , life happens but there is no "You" I wonder how a "node of consciousness" is able to function from this state even using language became unmanageable until the ego reintegrated? If you guys have any stories to share or insights about this id love to hear them.

ok yeah i just wanted to clarify, I had figured that was basically what you meant by that. Thats the same for me as well. People try to "get" enlightenment and thats a misunderstanding of what it is. Its not something someone can "attain" as you know, As you said its more of a process. Adya has some good ways of pointing to it for sure. I like his books. Meditation has so many benefits in its own right just for the human physiology and psychology. Let alone spiritual growth. So its a habit ill continue regardless, as you. Thank you for sharing.

Is deepening your baseline level a form of seeking something or getting somewhere? The something or somewhere sounds like the new baseline?

Watch Leos video on Nihilism your just hitting one of the walls within Nihilism, when you loop it back and find your meaning then its all good. Just be patient with yourself and realize your current life is the journey you get to construct, so have fun with it. Focus on this life rather "beyond" The ego mind will have trouble with this because its based on survival and wants. Wants fall away when your ego dissolves more. Your thoughts of it being upsetting will also fall away as if you never even had them. The oneness becomes a feeling not an idea that its pleasant to be with.

@BipolarGrowth Respect! I have the same thoughts about this. Leos work has absolutely put my life on an entire different trajectory and the degree of how his work has shaped my mind is profound. @Daniel347 He is from what I have researched and seen from my own experience been one of the first or at least few to make the information more relatable to modern times. Definitely the leading in "Advanced Personal Development" in comparison to "personal development" regular personal development does not normally reach Tier 2 thinking where as majority of Leos content is Tier 2. When you reach Tier 2 thinking your whole mind recontextualizes the way you see the world and Leos content can directly facilitate this type of growth with work. -

@Gesundheit2 Yeah the easiest way is to observe the quality of your experience. Are you more peaceful, pleasant, calm, are you less anxious, neurotic, tense. -
@VeganAwake I agree, it feels like any resistance that was there relaxed up or dissolved. As if this character needs upheld and in doing so creates an inner tension. There was no more thinking. Which it seems I have preconceived notions of needing thought to interact or have simply been so "reliant" on thought to interact, specifically the verbal stream of language in order to communicate. That when that ceased there was only a soft confusion, yet a peaceful feeling.

@nistake Yes I do,thank you for the advice I will continue my practices. Are you in state like I described most of the time as a result of your own practices?
